Speed Control of Induction Motor using Minimum Variance Control Theory (최소분산제어론을 이용한 유도전동기의 속도제어)

  • In this paper, a minimum variance control system is proposed and practically implemented, which is adequate to the induction motor speed control system with frequent load variation. Minimum variance control method is used as a control law and recursive least square method with selective forgetting factor is proposed and analyzed with general forgetting algorithm as an estimation method. Designed control system is based on PC-DSP structure for the purposed of easiness of applying adaptive algorithm. Through computer simulation and experimental results, it is verified that proposed control system is robust to the load variation and practical implementation is possible.

  • Hydraulic system is difficult to obtain a suitable performance due to the nonlinearity load pressure change and system parameter variation. The requirement of control a1gorithm has been complex in order to satisfy the performance. The adaptive control is a control method which is suggested to achieve the control object under the plant characteristics change. In spite of the case that plant characteristics and the degree of variation are difficult to grasp. the adaptive control could keep the characteristics of closed-loop system generally. In this study. a method of combined generalized minimum variance adaptive control (GMVAC) and output error feedback is proposed, in order to solve the problem of non-minimum phase of plant and the vibration and overshoot in initial response. The control performance according to the variation of characteristics of plant is evaluated by changing the supply pressure. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Design of a Direct Self-tuning Controller Using Neural Network (신경회로망을 이용한 직접 자기동조제어기의 설계)

  • This paper presents a direct generalized minimum-variance self tuning controller with a PID structure using neural network which adapts to the changing parameters of the nonlinear system with nonminimum phase behavior, noises and time delays. The self-tuning controller with a PID structure is a combination of the simple structure of a PID controller and the characteristics of a self-tuning controller that can adapt to changes in the environment. The self-tuning control effect is achieved through the RLS (recursive least square) algorithm at the parameter estimation stage as well as through the Robbins-Monro algorithm at the stage of optimizing the design parameter of the controller. The neural network control effect which compensates for nonlinear factor is obtained from the learning algorithm which the learning error between the filtered reference and the auxiliary output of plant becomes zero. Computer simulation has shown that the proposed method works effectively on the nonlinear nonminimum phase system with time delays and changed system parameter.

  • 무선 센서네트워크는 환경 모니터링과 같은 다양한 어플리케이션을 갖고 있는 향상된 기술이다. 이를 구성하는 각각의 노드들은 특정지역에 분산되어 네트워크를 구성해서 해당 지역의 이벤트나 정보를 주기적으로 사용자에게 전달한다. 이때 토폴로지 제어는 네트워크의 수명과 통신에 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크에서 클러스터 기반의 분산형 토폴로지 제어기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 먼저 네트워크를 클러스터 기반의 계층적인 구조로 구성한 후, 각각의 클러스터 내에서 최소 신장트리 (Minimum Spanning Tree)를 이용하여 토폴로지 제어를 수행한다. 이를 통해 무선센서 네트워크는 에너지 효율적이며 분산된 토폴로지 제어를 수행할 수 있고, 결과적으로 네트워크의 수명을 연장할 수 있다.

  • In this paper we propose a Generalized Minimum Variance Self-tuning Control of the system with an autoregressive noise model. To establish a Generalized Minimum Variance Control, the control input is also included in a cost function and a novel identity is introduced. The effectiveness of this algorithm is demonstrated by the computer simulation.

  • This paper presents a direct multivariable self-tuning controller using neural network which adapts to the changing parameters of the higher order multivariable nonlinear system with nonminimum phase behavior, mutual interactions and time delays. The nonlinearities are assumed to be globally bounded, and a multivariable nonlinear system is divided linear part and nonlinear part. The neural network is used to estimate the controller parameters, and the control output is obtained through estimated controller parameter. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm the computer simulation is done to adapt the multivariable nonlinear nonminimm phase system with time delays and changed system parameter after a constant time. The proposed method compared with direct multivariable adaptive controller using neural network.

  • This paper presents the method for the automatic tuning of a design weighting polynomial parameter of a generalized minimum-variance stochastic self tuning controller which adapts to changes in the system parameters with time delays and noises. The self tuning effect is achieved through the recursive least square algorithm at the parameter estimation stage and also through the Robbins-Monro algorithm at the stage of optimizing a design weighting polynomial parameters. The proposed self tuning method is simple and effective compared with other existing self tuning methods. The computer simulation results are presented to illustrate the procedure and to show the performance of the control system.

  • 세라믹 분발의 분산안정성은 입자의 입경 및 형상, 배열형태, 그리고 분산기구에 따라 크게 달라진다. 대체로 입경이 콜로이드 범위내에 존재하면 일반적인 정전반발력이나 입체반발력에 의하여 분산이 가능하지만, 콜로이드 범위를 넘는 조대한 입경을 가지는 분말에서는 진정한 분산안정성을 얻는 것은 불가능하다. 비록 콜로이드 범위에 속히는 입경을 가지더라도 Hamaker 상수가 매우 높거나 기하이방성을 가진 입자가 우선배향성을 가지는 경우에도 마찬가지의 결과를 보여 준다. 진정한 의미의 분산안정성을 얻을 수 없는 경우 입자 간 포텐셜 에너지의 절대값이 최소가 되도록 함과 더불어 고분자 흡착층이나 전기이중층의 두께를 조정하여 입지간 평형거리를 조정하여 후속공정에서의 균일성을 유지하는 것이 기능하다. 이와 같은 제한응집은 진정한 의미의 분산안정성을 얻을 수 없는 분말을 구성분말로 하는 단미는 물론 복합재료에서도 활용이 가능하다. 나노 크기의 입경을 가지는 분말에서는 반데르발스 인력은 상대적으로 작지만, 정전반발력도 동시에 작아지기 때문에 에너지 장벽의 높이가 충분하지 않은 경향을 보인다. 따라서, 나노 분말의 분산안정성은 흡착층의 두께가 크지 않는 저분자량의 고분자를 흡착시켜 입체반발력을 부여하는 것이 바람직하다.

An adaptive control is a control method which is suggested to achieve a control object though plant characteristics change. In spite of the case that plant characteristics and the degree of variation are difficult to grasp, adaptive control can keep the characteristics of closed-loop system regularly. In this study GMVAC(generalized minimum variance adaptive control) combined with output error feedback is proposed in order to solve problems of non-minimum phase, vibration and overshoot in initial response of the plant. The control performance according to the variation of characteristics of the plant is evaluated by changing the supply pressure only.

  • 다계층 분산처리 구조는 정보를 시기 적절하게 분배해 주고 유지 보수비용을 최소로 줄여줄 수 있는 장점이 있다. 다계층 클라이언트/서버는 현존하는 데이터베이스, 툴, 컴포넌트 안에서 분산 컴퓨팅 구조로 통합시킬 수 있고, 네트워크 부하를 줄일 수 있으며, 많은 서버 상에서 작업을 효율적으로 분배해 줄 수 있는 로드 밸런싱을 조절하고 제어 할 수 있게 한다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반 분산처리에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통하여 분산환경에서 효율적으로 어플리케이션을 개발할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 분산 3-계층 환경에서 컴포넌트를 서비스하는 애플리케이션 서버를 설계하고 구현한다.
