  • 나노 기술의 급격한 발달에 따라 나노미터 수준의 정밀도를 갖는 초정밀 측정 기술이 여러 분야에서 요구되고 있다. 헤테로다인 레이저 간섭계를 이용하여 초정밀 위치 측정을 하려고 할 때, 광학기기 자체의 불완전함에서 발생하는 비선형성 오차는 주요한 요소로 작용한다. 본 논문에서는 헤테로다인 레이저 간섭계 시스템에서의 비선형성을 보정해주기 위해 적응형 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기준 입력인 정전용량센서와 최소자승법을 이용하여 보정변수를 구한 후, 반복 최소자승법을 이용하여 비선형성에 따른 타원 위상을 비선형성이 보정된 원 위의 위상으로 사상시킨다.

  • This paper presents a new blind identification method of nonminimum phase FIR systems without employing higher-order statistics. It is based on the observation that the absolute mean of a second-order white sequence can measure the higher-order whiteness of the sequence. The proposed method may be a new alternative way to the higher-order statistics approaches. Some computer simulations show that the absolute mean is exactly estimated and the proposed method can overcome the disadvantages of the higher-order statistics approaches.

  • This paper presents an implicit moving least squares(MLS) difference method for improving the solution accuracy of 1-D free boundary problems, which implicitly updates the topology change of moving interface. The conventional MLS difference method explicitly updates the moving interface; it requires no iterative solution procedure but results in the loss of accuracy. However, the newly developed implicit scheme makes the total system nonlinear involving iterative solution procedure, but numerical verification show that it dramatically elevates the solution accuracy with moderate computation increase. Through numerical experiments for melting problems having moving singularity, it is verified that the proposed method can achieve the second order accuracy.

  • The active phased array antenna system performs beam steering, multi-beam formation and adaptive beam forming by controlling the amplitude and phase of signals fed to each radiating element. In order to obtain the desired radiation characteristics using an active phased array antenna system, the accurate amplitude and phase of the signal must be fed to each radiating element; however, due to various causes, the signal errors occurs in each radiating element. In this paper, a signal error estimation method of each radiating element is proposed. The proposed method simplifies the process of signal error estimation, and can quickly and accurately calculate the signal error.

  • In this paper, we design a high stable Ku-band phase-locked dielectric resonant microwave oscillator with the gate voltage controls of p-HEMT. By adapting the nonlinear equivalent elements which affects phase noise of microwave oscillator, we optimize the nonlinear elements of p-HEMT to have low phase noise operation. Using the scattering parameters according to bias voltages, we designed the gate voltage control microwave dielectric resonant oscillator and phase-locked loop circuits is applied to have the high stable operations. Designed microwave oscillator as a local oscillator of digital microwave communication shows that output power is 9.17dBm at 10.75GHz and it's phase noise is -88dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset frequency.

  • A pole-placement control of discrete, deterministic, single-input single-output nonmini-mum phase systems is considered using a model reference type approach. The proposed pole-placement controller is designed in the parameter form to make the transfer function of the controller equal to that of the reference model with only single variable polynomial S(q-1). The proposed adaptive pole-placement controllr is designed with the true system para-meters by applying the adaptation method to the proposed pole-placement controller.

  • Asymptotic tracking of a non-minimum phase nonlinear system has been a popular topic in control theory and application. In this paper, we propose a new control scheme to achieve asymptotic output tracking in anon-minimum phase nonlinear system for periodic trajectories through an iterative learning control with the stable inversion. The proposed design method is robust to parameter uncertainties and periodic external disturbances since it is based on iterative learning. The performance of the proposed algorithm was demonstrated through the simulation results using a typical non-minimum nonlinear system of an inverted pendulum on a cart.

  • This paper deals with performance degradations caused by RF I/Q impairments such as amplitude mismatch and phase mismatch in W-CDMA user equipment which uses QPSK(Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulation. The impacts of I/Q impairments on the BER(Bit Error Rate) are analyzed by using the variations of adjacent symbol distance. The BER versus amplitude mismatch and phase mismatch with QPSK constellation is reviewed through Matlab simulation. Performance degradation produced by RF I/Q impairments is measured with the implemented RF transceiver and modulation/demodulation test equipments through EVM(Error Vector Magnitude). The minimum performance requirements of amplitude mismatch and phase mismatch in W-CDMA user equipment are presented from the point of hardware implementation and the test method of the impairments is also included.

  • 본 논문에서는 WCDMA(Wide Code Division Multiple Access) 시스템 사양을 만족시키는 주파수 합성기 블록 중 위상잡음 및 전력소모의 최적 설계가 필요한 LC-VCO(voltage controlled oscillator)의 설계를 제안 하였다. 최적 설계를 위한 핵심내용은 LC-tank의 손실성분을 보상하는 MOS트랜지스터의 전달컨덕턴스와 인덕턴스 평면에 여유이득라인과 튜닝 범위 라인을 그어 설계 가능한 영역 내에서 위상잡음이 최소가 되는 인덕턴스 값을 구하고 선택하는 것이다. 제안한 최적 설계방법에 의해 진행된 LC-VCO의 시뮬레이션 결과 위상잡음 특성은 1MHz옵셋에서 -113dBc/Hz였다.

  • In the existence of motion, azimuth phase error due to accuracy limitation of GPS/IMU and system delay is unavoidable and it is essential to apply autofocus to estimate and compensate the azimuth phase error. In this paper, autofocus algorithm using MWLS(Modified WLS) is proposed. It shows the robust performance compared with original WLS using new target selection/sorting metric and iterative azimuth phase estimation technique. SAR raw data obtained in a captive flight test is used to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm.
