Electrokinetics를 이용한 김에서의 중금속 제거

  • Electrokinetic tests are conducted on laver contaminated with heavy metals to investigate the efficiency of the process in removing Cd, Pb, and Zn. The tests were operated at constant current, and operating time were 0 - 24 hours. The removal efficiency in electro-osmosis with open electrodes is time-dependent. The absorbed Cd, Pb and Zn were removed 50.94-95.75%, 80.78-81.96%, and 48.10-83.83% by the process.

  • 대한건축학회와 건설교통부, 한국건축가협회, 대한건축사협회에서 공동주최하는 '건축교육, 건축사제도 개선 및 건축교육인증원 발족을 위한 1차 공동회'가 지난 11월 19일(금)과 20일(토)에 대한건축학회 세미나실에서 열렸다. 이번 공청회는 건축교육, 설계실무 등에 대한 개선방안을 마련하여 건축교육의 국제화 및 국내건축사의 국제경쟁력을 향상시킨다는 주요명제하에 건축 3단체가 공동으로 준비하였다. 이번 공청회의 좌장은 이명호(중앙대 건축학과) 교수가 맡았으며, 주제발표는 '교육제도 개선 및 교육인증'에 대해서는 이문섭, 박한규씨가, '건축사제도 및 건축사보완'에 대해서는 최관영, 박서홍씨가 맡았고, 토론자로는 강병근(건국대 건축공학과 교수), 김우성(아키플랜 대표), 정의용(영남대 건축공학과 교수), 이영근(건설교통부 건축과 과장), 정진원(경기대 건축공학과 교수), 최수태(교육부 대학학사제도과장), 김광현(서울대 건축학과 교수), 김병현(장건축), 김영웅(진원건축), 심재덕(태두건축), 정태화(건설교통부 건축과 사무관), 최동규(서인건축)씨가 참여했다. 이번호에서는 건축교육제도 개선분야, 건축교육인증분야, 건축사제도 및 건축사보완 분야의 발표요약문을 게재한다.

  • The miscibility between acrylic copolymers and tackifier resins influenced on adhesion properties of PSA. PSA with high molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution of acrylic copolymers showed systemical modification of adhesion properties of PSA by tackifier resins only in case of miscible system. It is concluded that the investigation of the miscibility between two Components is very important to adhesion properties of PSA.

  • Recently, development of advanced soil monitoring technology has became essential for effective site remediation. Soil gas evaluation is simple and powerful technology which can reduce the environmental impact during the survey of VOC contaminated area. In this research, the feasibility test of SnO$_2$ceramic gas sensor is conducted to improve soil gas measurement technology. As a result, it is successfully proved that this gas sensor has an possibility for soil gas monitoring.

  • Natural rubber was filled with 8 commercial carbon blacks covering range of rubber-grade products at different levels of filler loadings in order to investigate physical compound and vulcanizate properties. It was found that the curves of rubber property vs filler loading of both uncured compounds and vulcanizates can be superposed to one single master curve by introducing an effective volume fraction which is based on CDBP. The effective volume fraction, $V_{EFF}$ was utilized to explain the variation of the stiffness of all rubber compounds. The surface area-corrected effective volume fraction, V', was utilized to explain the formation of bound rubber, rebound and lambourn wear.

  • The concept of a new linear motor that uses piezo-stack actuator is demonstrated. The working principle is far different from the conventional inchworm motor. This motor is based on the self-moving cell concept. The linear motor has three cells and each cell is constructed with one piezo-stack actuator and a shell structure. A cell train is constructed by connecting these cells and the cell train is fitted into a guide way with a proper interference. The cell train moves along the guide way, by activating each cell in succession. The moving motion of the motor is tested. Since this linear motor uses piezo-stack actuator with unified clamping cell, it can produce fast speed, high resolution and large push force.

  • In this study, urethane acrylate macromer was synthesized and it was used in a gel polymer electrolyte (GPE), and then its electrochemical performances were evaluated. LiCoO$_2$/GPE/graphite cells were Prepared and their performances depending on discharge currents and temperatures were evaluated. The precursor consisting of urethane acrylate (UA), hexanediol dimethacrylate (HDDA) and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) had a low viscosity relatively ionic conductivity of the gel polymer electrolyte with UA at room temperature and -20$\^{C}$ was ca. 4.5 $\times$ 10$\^$-3/S$.$cm$\^$-1/ and 1.7 x 10$\^$-3/ S$.$cm$\^$-1/, respectively GPR was stable electrochemically up to potential of 4.i V vs. Li/Li$\^$+/. LiCoO$_2$/GPE/graphite cells showed good a high-rate and a low-temperature performance.
