Effect of Exogenous ATP and ionic Concentration on the Activity of Contractile Vacuoles in Amoeba proteus (배양액의 ATP첨가 및 이온 농도에 따른 Amoeba proteus 수축포의 배출작용)

  • 담수산 대형 아메바인 각moeba proteus의 위상차 현미경 관찰 및 사진 분석을 통하여 수축포의 배출활동을 조사하f:다. Chalkley's 무기 염류 배양액에 첨가한 0. 1 mM ATP(disodium salt)에 의해 수축포의 배출속도는 270%로 증가하f:으며, 이 ATP의 효과는 Na+ 이온농도가 0.46mM 이상일 때 유효하였다. 실험용액의 NaGl 농도를 10 mM까지 증가시켰을 때 배출작용은 230%에 이르기까지 완만한 직선적 증가를 보였으며, 0.1 mM ATP를 첨가했을 때는 소폭의 NaCl농도 증가(0.50 mM)에 대하여 급격한 상승을 보였다. 이 배출 촉진은 Na+이온에 대해서 선별적으로 이루어졌으며 K+이온으로는 대체될 수 없었다. 배출속도는 Cac12를 제외한 Chalkley's 액에 50 $\mu$ M EDTA(disodium)를 첨가하였을 때에는 2900ye로 증가하였으며 , Caclf 농도가 증가됨에 따라 현격한 감소를 보였다. Chalkley's용액의 Cac12, NaCl을 함께 제외한 경우 배출속도는 대조군 수준에 미달된 데 비하여 0.2 mM Cac12, 10 mM NaCl첨가시에는 대조군의 180%였다. 아메바 수축포의 배출작용이 Na+이온 배출기구로 보고(Pottier efaf., 1987) 이들 결과를 종합해 볼때 아메바의 세포막에는 Na+ 이온의 투과수단으로 칼슘제거에 의해서 촉진확산되는 것과 Na+이온 농도증가에 따른 단순확산이 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • In this research, the BLDC motor 2 axis controller was designed using a dual core processor. The controller used TMS320F28377D which is TI's latest dual-core DSP, and the BLDC motor was selected with the position of resolver having high reliavility and the speed sensor built-in type motor.

  • Deep submicron device contact hole에서의 bottom step coverage의 향상 및 SALICIDE공정의 필요성에 의해 collimated sputtering 및 ionized sputtering 등의 다양한 증착방법이 연구되어왔다. 반도체소자의 고집적화 및 미세화에 따라서 기존의 증착방법보다 더 높은 throughput을 가진 새로운 증착방법의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. Collimated sputtering방식으로 증착한 박막의 경우에는 증착속도가 느리고 collimator의 사용기간에 따른 공정조건의 변화가 단점으로 작용하였고 새로이 ionzied sputtering방식이 개발되었다. ionzied sputtering방식은 증착되는 금속 입자를 이온화시키고 기판에 바이어스를 걸어서 증착되는 입자의 방향성 및 증착속도의 향상을 얻을 수 있었다. 하지만 고집적도가 더욱 증가함에 따라서 더 높은 박막의 증착속도, bottom step coverage의 향상, 방향성의 향상과 더불어 증착되는 입자의 이온화 율의 증가 및 기존의 증착방식에 의한 박막보다 향상된 물성을 가진 박막증착의 필요성에 의해 hollow cathode magnetron sputtering방식이 연구되었다. HCM방식으로 titanium 박막을 증착하여 collimated sputtering 및 ionize sputtering 방식으로 증착한 titanium 박막과 물성을 비교해서 증착방식에 따른 박막물성의 차이를 연구하였다. 증착전에 기판온도는 30$0^{\circ}C$를 유지하였고 base pressure는 5.0$\times$10-9torr, working pressure는 5.7m torr로 유지하였다. power는 30kW를 가하여 50nm두께의 titanium박막을 증착하였다. 증착된 박막의 미세구조는 TEM 및 XRD로 분석하였다. HCM방식으로 증착한 titanium박막은 5nm두께의 비정질 층이 관찰되었고 ionized sputtering방식으로 증착한 titatnium박막에서 나타나는 것으로 보고된 silicon (002)와 titanium (0002) eledtron diffraction spot사이의 (10-10)spot은 관찰되지 않았다. 박막은 크고 작은 grain의 연속적 분포를 가졌고 HCM방식으로 증착한 titanium박막의 in-plane grain size가 다른 증착방식으로 증착한 박막에 비해 크게 관찰됨을 Plan-view TEM 분석을 통해서 확인되었다.

  • 연안지역에서 발생하는 퇴적 및 침식현상으로 발생하는 피해를 분석하기 위하여, 고립파를 이용한 연구가 계속 진행되어왔다. 고립파는 파고의 크기에 따라 파형이 결정되는 특징을 가지고 있어 연안지역 파랑에 관한 연구에 적합하다. 기존연구는 sluice gate를 순간적으로 개방하는 방식을 통해 갑작스러운 수위의 변화를 유도하여 급변부정류흐름을 발생시키는 연구를 수행하였으나, 고립파 발생 조건에 대한 상세한 분석은 수행하지 못하였다. 본 연구는 기존연구에서 사용한 방식과 동일하게 sluice gate를 개방하여 고립파를 발생시켰으며, 실험조건을 상류 headtank 수위와 하류 수심의 수위차를 이용하는 경우와 sluice gate 개방 속도에 따라 두 가지 경우로 나누어 실험을 수행하였다. 실험에 사용된 직사각형 수리실험수조는 폭 0.8 m, 높이 0.75 m, 수로길이 12 m에서 상 하류의 수위차를 0.05 m 단위로 높이는 방식과 수문개방속도를 0.5 m/s 부터 1.0 m/s까지 범위를 설정하여 두 가지 재현방식에 따라 실험을 진행하였다. 또한 Flow-3D GMO(General Moving Objects)기능을 활용한 수치모의를 수행하였다. 실험조건에 따른 수리실험 결과를 파랑의 특성인 고립파 파고와 파속을 수치모의결과와 비교하여 분석하였다. 수리실험결과와 수치해석결과 유사한 경향을 나타내었으며, 본 연구의 결과는 Sluice gate를 이용한 고립파 수리실험으로 경사면에서 발생하는 침식과 퇴적현상에 관한 기초적인 연구가 될 것이다.

Phosphate Adsorption Characteristics of Zirconium Mesostructure Synthesized under Different Conditions (지르코늄 메조구조체의 합성조건 변화에 따른 인 흡착 특성)

  • In this study, the phosphate adsorption characteristics of zirconium mesostructures synthesized under different conditions were estimated. X-ray diffraction analysis, phosphate adsorption isotherm test and kinetic test was performed for the zirconium mesostructures synthesized at different inorganic/surfactant molar ratio and with different surfactant templates. The test results were analyzed with adsorption models. From this work, it was found that at the inorganic/surfactant molar ratio of 1/0.50($0.013{\cdot}Zr(SO_4){_2}:0.068{\cdot}surfactant:5.55{\cdot}H_2O$), the meso-pores in the material could be most uniformly and clearly formed and thus the adsorption capacity and reaction rate of material could be maximized. And the pore size in the mesostructure increased with the chain length of surfactant template used, and maximum phosphate adsorption amount and reaction rate could be achieved with the zirconium mesostructure synthesized with the surfactant template of dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide.

Investigation of Host Plants and Seasonal Occurrence of Popillia flavosellata (Coleoptera: Rutelidae) in Golf Courses (골프장의 참콩풍뎅이 성충 기주식물과 계절적 발생 조사)

  • Host plants of Popillia flavosellata (Coleoptera: Ruteridae) were investigated at the courses of three golf clubs, East Valley Golf Club, Anyang Benest Golf Club, and Anseong Benest Golf Club and their surrounded forests. In addition, seasonal occurrence was examined from East Valley Golf Club using Japanese beetle pheromone lure and a eugenol feeding attractant. Twenty six species of 25 genera in 18 families were recorded as hosts of P. flavosellata from given surveyed golf clubs. Out of them, 22 species of 21 genera in 15 families were newly recorded host plants of P. flavosellata. Thus, host plants of P. flavosellata were 49 species of 41 genera in 23 families in total including hosts from literatures. The main damage part of P. flavosellata adult was flower of host plants. Peak activity of P. flavosellata adult was observed around 20 June. Mean numbers of attracted P. flavosellata adults at the peak day were 197.6/trap/day in 2008 and 268.1 in 2010, respectively. Occurrence of P quadriguttata was much lower compared with P. flavosellata at the given golf club. That is, mean numbers of attracted P quadriguttata adults from the same trap at the peak: day were 0.4/trap/day in 2008 and 2010, respectively.

Temperature and Flow Velocity Analysis for Fire in Synthetic Heat Transfer Fluid Boiler (열매유 보일러 내부화재에 따른 온도 및 속도분포 해석)

  • The fire took place in the synthetic heat transfer fluid boiler. This study uses simulation to investigate the first, second and third passes and the temperature in the fire burner. The boiler's internal fluid is more or less unsteady due to the out of order inverter. As the operation continues, the flame's flow and speed are unsteady. The synthetic heat transfer fluid leak spouted about 120 kg/min in the form of vapor in the early period of the fire. The flame extended to the second and third passes. The highest temperature of the second and third pass is $1059^{\circ}C$ and $1007^{\circ}C$, respectively. The simulation shows that the temperature is $767^{\circ}C$ in the low part of the third pass. The synthetic heat transfer fluid spouted through the cracked part of the fire box in the first pass and accumulated on the turn table. The temperature rises to $183^{\circ}C$ in the low part of the burner. Therefore, it is expected that the temperature of the interior of the fire box is above $1200^{\circ}C$. The temperature of the burner rises to a maximum level several times in a short period. On account of that, several explosions occur in the fire burner.

Change of the Combined Patterns of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation on Static Balance (고유수용성 신경근 촉진법의 통합 패턴에 따른 정적 균형의 변화)

  • This study was to investigate the effects of the combined patterns of PNF(proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) on the static balance ability by 20 subjects for 6 weeks. The combined patterns of PNF were carried out by Sprinter and Skater suggested by Dietz which were practiced once a day, 3 times a week. This study were measured normal standing, one leg left and one leg right standing when eye open and close on GOOD BALANCE system. These result lead us to the conclusion that mean velocity of X,Y direction, COP velocity moment were showed a statically decrease applying post-exercise on Normal Standing Eye Open(NSEO), Normal Standing Eye Close(NSEC), One Leg Right Standing Eye Close(OLRSEC) and Just velocity of X direction were showed a statically decrease applying post-exercise on One Leg Right Standing Eye Close(OLRSEC). The above results from this study indicated that combined patterns of PNF have improved the static balance ability. However the used self-exercise ca be applied to normal people, i.e., the exercise is difficult to apply into clinical patients. The further study should be focused at development of various modified forms of the combined patterns of PNF in keeping up the improvement effect of the exercise.

A VELOCITY STRUCTURE ANALYSIS OF GIANT MOLECULAR CLOUD ASSOCIATED WITH HII REGION S152 (HII 영역 S152에 접해 있는 거대 분자운의 속도 구조 분석)

  • S152 is a small bright emission nebula located in the Perseus arm. Its optical diameter corresponds to 1.5 pc for an adopted distance 3.5 kpc. However, S152 is a part of a giant molecular cloud complex, which consists of several dense cores, containing active star-forming sites, and well aligned arm-like features. We analyzed the FCRAO $^{12}CO(J=\;1{\to}0)$ Outer Galaxy Survey data in this region to study the kinematical structure of this region, which resembles a big "scorpion". We found that there exist three different velocity components, about -54.5, -50.4, -48.8 km $s^{-1}$, depending on the position of the "scorpion". There also exist velocity gradients of 0.21 km $s^{-1}pc^{-1}$ and 0.16 km $s^{-1}pc^{-1}$ through the whole extent of the "scorpion". Interestingly, these two velocity gradients show an opposite direction with each other. It is likely that the velocity structure of this region may result from the mergence of different gas clouds, and the interaction with the SNR 109.1-1.0 occurred later, mostly at the region around the "head of the scorpion" only.

  • Various nerves from many areas of body can be used as a donor of autogenous nerve graft in the microneurosurgical repair of the oral and maxillofacial region. In the grafting procedure of nerve repair, the best results will be achieved with a maximum approximation of fascicular surface at both the porximal and the distal stumps. Therefore, appropriate selection of donor nerve will bring out the best results. The sural nerve has been used as one of the most popular donor nerve in the microneurosurgical repair of the oral and maxillofacial region. The authors examined the fascicular characteristics of the human sural nerve microscopically and compare this results with our previous report of the greater auricular nerve and that of the inferior alveolar nerve.
