This paper dealt with the economic analysis on the application of shipboard LED (Light Emitting Diode) luminaires to replace incandescent and fluorescent lamps, which account for over 80 % of light source on a training or naval vessel. The rates of savings achieved in the power consumption, initial investment, maintenance cost, and fuel cost were analyzed. The break-even points and the $CO_2$ emissions were also calculated. For the training vessel, the initial investment was increased by 3.8 times, while the maintenance cost over five years was reduced by 51 %. When 40 %, 50 %, and 60 % of luminaires were turned on, the calculated break-even points were 11 months, 9 months, and 7 months, respectively. On the other hand, the initial investment was increased by 3.5 times while the maintenance cost over five years was saved by 55 % for the naval vessel. The break-even points were calculated as 15 months, 12 months, and 10 months, respectively. Moreover, the $CO_2$ emissions of the training and the naval vessels were reduced by 69 % and 65 %, respectively. From the results, it was revealed that the maintenance cost can be reduced by more than 50 %, and that the power consumption, fuel cost, and $CO_2$ emissions can be reduced by more than 60 % if LED luminaires are used on two types of vessels.

This paper presents aerodynamic power outputs of wind turbine of 6 MW wind farm composed of 3 sets of 2 MW wind turbine according to the separation distance by using CFD. Layout design including offshore wind farm and onshore wind farm is key factor for the initial investment cost, annual energy production and maintenance cost. For each wind turbine rotor, not actuator disc model with momentum source but full 3-dimensional model is used for CFD and it has a great technical meaning. The results of this study can be applied to the offshore wind farm layout design effectively.
NiCuZn ferrites were prepared by a solid-state reaction and sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ for 5 hours. Its properties were investigated by controlling the ferrite composition and processing. NiCuZn ferrite with a composition of ${(Ni_{0.2}Cu_{0.2}Zn_{0.6}O)}_{1.02}{(Fe_{2}O_{3})}_{0.98}$ was found to have the maximum initial permeability as a result of the variation of Cu content and the (Ni+Cu)/Zn ratio. Curie temperature($T_{c}$) of NiCuZn ferrite was decreased with the larger Cu content and increased with the larger Ni content. NiCuZn ferrites of ${(Ni_{0.2}Cu_{0.2}Zn_{0.6}O)}_{1-w}{(Fe_{2}O_{3})}_{1+w}$ composition milled for 20~80 hours had the maximum initial permeability at w=-0.015 and Curie temperature ($T_{c}$) was decreased with the increasing of $Fe_{2}O_{3}$ deficiency(w).
The objectives of this study were to develope the economical process for bioethanol production from domestic triticale and investigate optimal fermentation conditions such as temperature, time, and enzyme concentration used to pre-treatment process. Triticale mash, containing 148 g of total sugar per 1 L of mash, was fermented with Saccharomyces cerevisiae CHY1011 at $33^{\circ}C$. Fermentation of mash supplemented with enzyme was completed within 48-60 hours, and the ethanol yield was 410.9 L/tonne of dry base. On the other hand, fermentation of mash without enzyme addition was completed within 36-48 hours, but the ethanol yield was 342.2 L/tonne of dry base. For optimal bioethanol production from triticale, viscosity reduction enzyme was added in the pre-treatment process, and the fermentation rate of triticale was 92.0-94.2%. In addition, the results showed that bioethanol production of triticale by low-temperature pre-treatment would provide higher ethanol production efficiency and lower operating costs.

Venture capital invests the necessary capital and supports management and technology in promising small and medium-sized venture companies in the early stages of start-up with promising technology and excellent manpower. It plays a role as a key player in the venture ecosystem that realizes profits by collecting the investment through various means after growth. Venture capital's job is to recruit various investors(LPs) to invest in small and medium-sized venture companies with growth potential through the formation of venture investment funds, and to collect investment as companies grow, distribute and reinvest. The main tasks of venture capitalists, which play the most important role in venture investment, are finding promising companies, corporate analysis and evaluation, investment screening, follow-up management, and investment recovery. Venture capital's success indicators are fund formation and return on investment, and venture capitalists are rewarded with annual salary, performance-based incentive, and promotion with work performance such as investment, exit, and fund formation. Compared to the recent rapidly growing venture investment market, investment manpower is insufficient, and venture capital is making great efforts to foster manpower and establish infrastructure and systems for long-term service, but research has been conducted mainly from a quantitative perspective. Accordingly, this study aims to empirically analyzed the impact of investment experience, delegation of authority, job fit, and peer relationships on fund formation and return on investment according to the characteristics of the venture capital industry. The results of these empirical studies suggested that future venture capital needs a job environment and manpower operation strategy so that venture capitalists with high job fit and investment experience can work for a long time.
Light Naphtha is distillated from crude oil unit and separated into the methane, ethylene and propylene by boiling point difference in sequence. This separation is conducted using a series of binary-like columns. This separation method is known that the energy consumed in the reboiler is used to separate the heaviest components and most of this energy is discarded as vapor condensation in the overhead cooler. In this study, the first two columns of the separation process are replaced with the Petlyuk column. A structural design was exercised by the stage computation with ideal tray efficiency in equilibrium condition. Compared with the performance of a conventional system of 3-column model, The design outcome shows that the procedure is simple and efficient because the composition of the liquid component in the column tray was designed to be similar to the equilibrium distillation curve. The performance of the new process indicates that an energy saving of 12.1% is obtained and the cost savings of 44 million won per day based on gross domestic product is reduced under same total number of trays and the initial investment cost is saved.

The purpose of this study is to find out which factors determine the success of start-up in the initial market and what are the most important determinants. For the empirical analysis, the questionnaire related to the analysis of success factors for start-up success was designed according to the quantitative analysis (AHP technique). First, we selected 8 representative success factors for successful start-up in the initial market. In order to determine the degree of priority among these factors, we surveyed 12 entrepreneurs who are interested in entrepreneurship, universities, research institutes, and public officials. As a result of the empirical analysis, 51% of the funds in the tier 1 were ranked as the top priority to determine success factors. Followed by research and development (32.5%), management (8.7%) and marketing (7.8%). In particular, when each of the four items is calculated as 100 according to the result of the tier 1, and the tier 2 is converted, the foreign investment is analyzed as 43.7%. It was followed by 15.14% of R & D facilities, 14.07% of ideas, 8.7% of managerial ability, 7.29% of domestic investment, 5.85% of buyer feedback, 3.3% of development strategy and 1.95% of marketing strategy. Among the eight success factors, overseas investment items showed the closest preference to half, and it was the most important variable that determines the success or failure of market entry. The implication of this study is that many start-ups in Korea expect to receive investment and support from overseas accelerators. This means that overseas investment itself has been recognized as a start-up that makes services and products that can be used in the global market. A high preference for attracting foreign investment is due to the fact that the amount of investment is larger than that of Korea and that it can flexibly cope with the pressure on the performance compared to domestic investors. In this study, it was meaningful that we could confirm this fact through questionnaires of start-up experts. In future research, we need to find a viable alternative through studying how to provide start-up to foreign direct investment at the national level.
