A Design of Theme-Oriented History Learning System Using GIS Based on WWW 초고속통신망과 웹 인터페이스의 발전은 교육환경에 많은 변화를 가져왔으며, 더불어 웹을 기반으로 하는 교육적 활용방법이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 정적지도를 이용한 획일적 역사학습방법을 지양하고, 동적인 학습이 가능하도록 클라이언트 중심의 웹기반 GIS를 이용한 테마지향 역사학습시스템을 설계하였다. 설계된 시스템은 크게 5가지 모듈로 구성되고 학습자 관리 DB, 학습 정보 DB, GIS DB와의 인터페이스 기능을 갖도록 기수라고, 이들 관계를 OMG 클래스다이어그램으로 보였다. 본 논문의 역사학습시스템은 학습자가 하는 주제를 선택하여 역사학습 정보를 요구할 때 지리적 위치를 지도상에 보여줌으로서 시각적이고 공간적인 이해를 가능하게 하였다. 또한 본 시스템은 텍 ;, 이미지, 사진, 동영상 등의 속성정보를 이용한 멀티미디어 정보와 효과적인 학습정보 검색을 위한 다양한 검색방법을 제공하여, 학습자의 흥미를 유발시키고 역사학습을 효율성을 높일 수 있도록 하였다.록 하였다.

This paper reviews the calculation of induced voltage to a communication line from Power Transmission Line. Power lines, both overhead and underground, often run parallel to weak current lines, such as telecommunication, signal or data transmission systems or protection circuits. The coexistence of both systems in parallel over long lengths is accompanied by the possible induction of significant longitudinal voltage in the weak current line. In order to evaluate a precise induced voltage, this paper indicated problem about coefficient and numerical formula and present some induced voltage production technology standard application.

Fiber optic facilities are increasingly being deployed in loop applications for both busines and residential areas. These facilities support a variety of communications services that include high speed data and video using leading technologies such as Synchronous Optical Network (SONET), Wavelength Division Multiplexing(WDM). This proliferation of fiber optic facilities combined with the increasing pressure on network operators to reduce costs are fostering increased automation to reduce labor costs associated with providing and maintaining communications services. Effective fiber management and accurate records can improve the reliability and integrity of the future telecommunications networks and the quality of customer services. This paper describes the trend forward and the need for the deployment of Fiber Administration System (FAS) into the operations enviroment of a typical network provider.

본 고에서는 무선통신기술의 전반 현황을 다루면서 최근 초고속통신망 구축의 단말 영역으로서 기술 및 시장 개발의 이슈가 되고 있는 댁내통신기술로서 사용될 수 있는 주요 무선통신기술을 중심으로 기술개발 현황, 표준화 동향, 시장 및 수요전망 등을 분석하여 소개하였다. 본 고에서 다룬 댁내무선통신기술은 무선 LAN, Bluetooth, HomeRF 등이다. 이들은 댁내통신기술로서 사용될 수 있는 대표적인 기술로서 각기의 특징과 의미를 가지고 있으며, 나름대로의 적용 방법을 달리하고 있다. 무선 LAN은 구내통신에 적합한 활용성을 가지고 있으며, Bluetooth는 인터넷의 사용과 접목되어 개인휴대통신으로서의 실용성을 지니고 있다. HomeRF는 순수하게 댁내에서의 무선시스템을 구축하고자 하는 비전을 가지고 있다. 이들 기술의 장단점을 살펴보고 아울러 발전 방향을 전망해 본다.

최근 들어 정보통신 분야의 기술이 급격히 발전함에 따라 컴퓨터 사용의 증가와 초고속통신망의 보급이 일반화 되면서 사회가 급속도록 진화하고 있다. 대부분의 사람들이 정보통신 가전제품을 소지하고 있으며 무선 통신 기술의 발전이 일상생활로 접어들면서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 추구하려는 움직임이 본격화 되고 있다. 이렇듯 언제 어디서나 쾌적하고 편리하고 즐거운 삶을 위한 맞춤형 홈서비스를 제공하는 환경을 구성하기 위해 각 계층에서 노력중이다. 가전기기들 간에 통신은 기본이며 개개인이 가지고 있는 정보통신기기까지도 제어를 하는 홈네트워크의 발전을 기대하며 본 고에서는 기기 간 즉 peer간의 탐색, 통신 등의 제어를 위해 JXTA플랫폼을 이용한 화이트보드 채팅 프로그램을 구현하였다. 따라서 안으로 다가올 홈네트워킹 환경에서의 JXTA 기반 장치 간 서비스 및 제어와 애플리케이션 개발 시 여러 가지 응용방안을 모색 할 수 있다.

WAN을 기반으로 하는 초고속 정보통신망이 구축되면서 컴퓨터를 기초로 하는 정보기술에 대한 의존도가 증가하고 있다. 그에 따라 컴퓨터를 비롯한 초고속 정보통신 설비 사고 가운데 뇌 서지에 기인하는 비중이 늘어나고 있다. 정보화 시스템의 일시적 기능 정지나 고장은 그 파급효과가 대단히 크고 경제적 손실이 막대하여 안정적인 서지 보호대책의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 이에 뇌 보호 관련 규정이 KS C IEC 62305로 개정되면서 선택사항에 불과했던 내부 뇌 보호 시스템인 서지보호기 (Surge Protective Device 이하 SPD)가 필수사항이 되었다. 하지만 약 30%가 SPD 설치 후에도 서지로 인한 피해를 입고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이는 설치 후에도 SPD가 제대로 작동하는지의 동작 상태와 경년에 따른 SPD의 특성 변화를 알 수 없어 문제 발생 시 정확한 원인 분석이 불가능하여 효과적인 대책수립이 어렵기 때문이다. 따라서 기존 SPD 기술의 한계점을 극복하여 유입되는 외부 서지의 특성을 파악하고 고장 예측이 가능한 차세대 뇌서지 보호대책을 고려하여야 한다.

It is time to bring more stable and reliable authentication system that would meet the Internet user's need. In this study, Current broadband networks don't have hierarchic and stable authentication solutions. And so, an integrated and hierarchic system is needed to provide a various kinds of application services.

It will unit various authentication systems that have been deployed in various network environment and reinforce network security to provice a various kinds of application services in a stable and safe environment. that is a simple and more secure method for fighting a rise in card-not-present fraud.

Network is changed from voice-based network into multimedia-based network by development of communication technology and multimedia service. We need a large bandwidth for multimedia service. The optical fiber is a more suitable medium than existing copper-based cable for large bandwidth. But, it is so expensive than copper-based cable. So, Minimizing total cost becomes a more important concept. In order to construct a minimum cost network, we have to consider existing conduits in network. On the other hand, optical fiber network allows that larger amount of traffic can be transmitted than copper-based network does. However, a failure of a node or link can make a serious damage to the network service. Thus, we have to get multiple paths to support continuous service even if a loss of failure occurs in some point of the network. The network survivability problem is to design the network that can provide reliable service to customers anytime with minimum total cost. In an existing solution of the network survivability problem with conduits, a conduit is considered only one time. But, the conduit is reusable if the network satisfies the required survivability. Proposed algorithm can more effectively considered already existed conduit. Network survivability and edge cost is predetermined. The proposed algorithm finds the best solution by conduit sharing within the limits of network survivability. According to the simulation result, the proposed method can decrease 7% of total cost than an existing method by effective conduits adaption.

Multimedia services through a network are getting more required according to the realization of B-ISDN construction globally. Business using the Internet will become popular, and so multimedia information systems including telemarketing systems will be developed competitively. VR (Virtual Reality) will help such systems make more realistic and valuable. ln this paper, we present an interactive VR authoring tool and a client/server based multimedia information service system. The VR authoring tool serves an interface with the system when developing its applications.
