Research and Development of Interactive Exhibition Contents for 'Sound Light' Exhibition Space in Science Museum (과학관 '소리 빛' 전시공간, 체험형 인터랙션 전시 콘텐츠 연구 개발)

  • Based on the basic concepts and roles of the Science Museum, the research and development of the "Sound Light" interaction exhibition contents and experience exhibition space aimed at providing the exhibition, education and experience of scientific principle directly related to daily life will be implemented in the "Sound Light" exhibition space of the Gwangju National Science Museum. The scope of the research is to define the conditions and elements of the museum's hands-on exhibition by examining the case and status of the existing science museum's experience-type content prior research, and research and development of experience-type exhibition scenarios and contents for children based on them. The results of this research and development content are firstly developed with the theme of light and sound as interactive hologram experience content. Second, by multi-faceted media facade through projection mapping by multiple projectors, visual wide and spectacular screen composition and animation are realized. Third, visitors-oriented exhibitions and experiences that can interact with visitors by moving various colors and sounds together. Finally, interactive content is provided through hologram interfaces through hologram screens to encourage active participation of many visitors in viewing rather than simply delivering exhibition information and to promote revisiting the exhibition. Through a series of studies, it was possible to research and develop contents and experience exhibition spaces with theme park characteristics, which are the trend of science museums.

Effects of Hotel Customer's Artistic Experience on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty (호텔고객의 예술적체험이 고객만족도와 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how hotel customer's artistic experience affect the customer's satisfaction and customer's loyalty to the hotel brand. A total of 237 effective questionnaires for empirical analyses data were obtained from the hotel customers who had the experiences of appreciating on purpose or accidently the artworks displayed inside hotel. Trough the literature review it was suggested that four factors of artistic experience encompassed educational experience, escapist experience, emotional experience, esthetic experience. To test the proposed hypotheses, exploratory factor analyses and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. The results showed that all four factors influenced customer's satisfaction and loyalty significantly. And artistic experience was confirmed to be mediated by customer's satisfaction on customer's loyalty. Based on the results, the meaningful implications and limitations were discussed.

  • 애플(Apple)의 스마트폰(smart phon)은 우리의 여가생활을 바꿔놓았다. 개인과 개인, 혹은 개인과 단체, 단체와 단체의 커뮤니케이션의 방법에 있어 시 공간을 넘어 계층 간 장애 없이 글쓰기가 가능해졌다. 인터넷 가상현실에서 집단지성(swarm intelligence)의 활동이 늘어나고 있다. 집단지성들이 활동 가능한 확장된 교육프로그램이 논의 되어야 할 것이다. 문학관의 학교 교육의 시각적인 지도활용에 있어서 적극적인 도입이 필요하다. 또한 전국 5일제 시행 이후 체험환경은 교육, 관광 등 연계성을 들 수 있다.

A Study of Design and Implementation of Cultural Property Contents Using Augmented Reality (증강현실을 이용한 문화재 콘텐츠 설계 및 구현 연구)

  • Augmented reality is used in various fields such as culture, education, military, medical. This is a method of recognizing information of an augmented object on the camera. Exhibitions and educational contents for children are already produced in various ways. This research showed the developed contents deliver cultural property information using augmented reality. 'Galgibi AR' and 'Jang Young-sil's Invention AR' allow you to experience cultural assets up close. 'Galgibi AR' is the experience content in the form of 3D blocks. It makes to understand the structure of the zeolite, Galgibi. 'Jang Young-sil's Invention AR' make you to watch out four objects in detail by zooming in, zooming out and rotating. It can also take pictures with the inventions. Both contents implement what we want to deliver accurately through simple content. They increase the enjoyment of cultural heritage through experience contents. This research addressed to help the cultural property information spread to the public by using Augmented Reality.

  • 초등 교육과정에 소프트웨어 교육 내용이 포함되는 2015 개정 교육과정의 시행을 앞두고, 학교 현장의 교사들은 이에 대한 지도 준비 수준이 낮으며 소프트웨어 교육 관련 교수 학습 자료도 부족하다고 느끼고 있었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 체험을 주 내용으로 하는 초등학교 프로그래밍 영역에 활용이 가능한 웹캠 기반 스크래치 프로그래밍 교육 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 이 때 프로그래밍 흥미를 높일 수 있는 방법으로 웹캠을 사용하여 사용자의 움직임과 상호작용이 가능한 콘텐츠를 제작하였으며 총 10차시로 구성하였다. 추후 본 논문에서 제안한 교육 콘텐츠를 초등학생들에게 적용하여 교육적 효과를 검토할 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the visitors' satisfaction with the Daegaya History Experience Festival and to provide practical implications to festival planners. Some important results of this study were as following. First, educational effectiveness had the highest satisfaction among visitors. Second, picking strawberries was founded as the most favored family oriented experience and experiencing the Daegaya vessel was perceived as the next layered program. Third, This festival provided pay experiences to the visitors including drawing bronze age rocks on the visitors' faces and Daegaya vessel making. Fourth, this festival achieved specializing of volunteers and increased satisfaction of guides. For future study, it is necessary to do empirical studies including investigating the determinant factors of festival visitors' satisfaction and behavioral intentions.

  • Climate change is undeniably the most urgent challenge that humanity faces today. Despite this, the level of public awareness and understanding of climate change remains insufficient, indicating a need for more proactive education and the development of supportive content. In particular, it is crucial to intensify climate change education during elementary and secondary schooling when values and ethical consciousness begin to form. However, there is a significant lack of age-appropriate, experiential educational content. To address this, our study has developed an innovative 3D simulator, enabling learners to indirectly experience the effects of climate change, specifically sea-level rise. This simulator considers not only sea-level rise caused by climate change but also storm surges, which is a design based on the analysis of long-term wave observation big data. To make the simulator accessible and engaging for students, we utilized the 'Unity' game engine. We further propose using this simulator as a part of a comprehensive educational program on climate change.
