A Comparison of Reduction of Dental Plaque Control and Oral Malodor according to Hardness of Detergent Food (일부 청정식품의 경도 차이에 따른 치면세균막 제거 및 구취감소 효과 비교)

  • The aim of this study was to make a comparison of dental plaque control and reduction of oral malodor according to hardness of detergent food. Subjects are 1 male(5.0%) and 19 females(95. 0%), the average age of 20.8 years old. The study was conducted from March 6 to April 24, 2014. Detergent foods which were selected during this experiment were cucumber, cabbage and tomato. The data were analyzed by using SPSS where the PHP Index, plaque rate, $H_2S$, $(CH_3)_2S$, Oral Gas, Expiration Gas were analyzed by Non-parametric Statistics and it was compared to the results of the compared mean whereas factors of detergent food before and after ingestion were analyzed by paired t-test. With all detergent foods, compared with the degree of control of dental plaque before and after ingestion showed a statistically significant difference between PHP index from cucumber, PHP index and plaque rate from tomato, and plaque rate from cabbage.

  • 고경도 질화막 합성과 밀착력 향상을 위한 기판 청정 기술은 밀접한 상관관계가 있다. 음극 진공 아크 증발원을 이용하여 기판 청정을 실시하였으며, 기판 전압이 증가함에 따라 기판 청정 효과가 증가하였으나, 그 역효과 또한 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 기판 전압 인가부의 전극 접촉부 위치에 따라 청정 형상이 크게 영향을 받음을 확인하였다. 기판 청정 후 고경도 질화막을 형성시켜 100N 이상의 밀착력 확인하였다.

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of dental plaque control depending on the detergent foods. Study design was a nonequivalent control group design. Study subjects were 14 males (38.8%) and 22 females (61.1%), the age of 20.6 years old. It was conducted from March 7 to June 13, 2012. The Patient Hygiene Performance index (PHP index) was measured as a dependent variable. Detergent foods were cucumber, pear, carrot, and peach. The PHP index of detergents foods were compared using ANOVA. Paired t-test was performed. SPSS ver. 18.0 was used for the data analysis. All detergent foods which cucumber ($2.85{\pm}1.01$), pear ($2.82{\pm}0.93$), peach ($2.48{\pm}1.12$), and carrot ($2.75{\pm}0.68$) was a significant decrease in plaque index (p<0.05). However, there was no significant difference among detergent foods. Detergent foods are effective in dental plaque control. However, no difference was shown depending on the detergent foods.
