Comparison and Analysis of Vibration and Shock Test Methods for Rolling Stock Equipment (철도차량 장치의 진동 및 충격시험 방법 비교 분석)

  • The vibration characteristics of railway vehicles are very complex because they are not only dependent on vehicle and track conditions but also on operating conditions. Vibration can cause the failure of rolling stock equipment. To verify that the quality of rolling stock equipment is acceptable, it should be able to withstand vibration tests of reasonable magnitude and duration. There are many standards for vibration and shock tests of equipment in Korea. In this paper, we have reviewed and compared the standards (KS R 9144, R 9146 and IEC 61373) for vibration and shock tests.

  • 현재 철도는 기술의 발전과 함께 초고속 대량수송, 정시성, 안전성, 에너지효율성 및 친환경성 등의 장점을 가지는 새로운 교통수단으로 재조명되고 있다. 국내에서도 고속철도 개통과 G7고속열차의 개발 등으로 철도기술은 제 2의 도약기에 들어서고 있으며, 특히 도로교통망의 포화로 인해 철도건설수요가 계속적으로 증가할 것으로 기대되는데, 기존 수송량의 흡수 및 장기적인 관점에서 철도교통망의 확장을 도모하기 위해서는 열차의 중량화와 고속화가 제반기술의 발전과 함께 지속적으로 추진될 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 이러한 차량의 중량화와 고속화는 실질적으로 선로 주변에 발생되는 소음 및 진동의 크기를 증가시키게 되는데, 최근 들어 소음 및 진동관련 환경기준의 강화와 민원의 증가 등으로 인해 친환경적인 측면에서 적극적인 소음 진동 저감대책의 수립과 관련 기술의 적용이 요구되고 있는 상황이다.(중략)

  • With the rapid industrial development, a railway has become a main traffic means. But, rail traffic noise and vibration have become a major problem in urban area as well as a very serious issue in the living environment. Especially, noise and vibration induced by the rail operation have influenced on the residents' living nearby railway tracks. Nevertheless, adequate guidelines for the railway vibration are not yet established because of the lack of basic data and insufficient research works. In this point, the present study attempt to survey the effect and subjective response of railway vibration in urban area using questionnaire. This study also presents a basic data in establishing effective vibration plans for railway vibration in the future.

Comparison of Track Vibration Characteristics for Domestic Railway Tracks in the Aspect of Rolling Noise (철도 전동 소음의 관점에서 해석한 국내 철도의 진동 특성 비교)

  • An important source of noise from railways is rolling noise caused by wheel and rail vibrations induced by acoustic roughness at the wheel-rail contact. The main contributors to rolling noise are the sleepers, rail, and wheels. In order to analyze and predict rolling noise, it is necessary to understand the vibrating behaviors of railway tracks, as well as of the wheels. In the present paper, theoretical modeling methods for railway track are reviewed in terms of rolling noise; these methods are applied for the three representative types of domestic railway tracks operated: the conventional ballasted track, KTX ballasted track and KTX concrete track. The characteristics of waves propagating along rails are investigated and compared among the types of tracks. The tracks are modeled as discretely supported Timoshenko beams and are compared in terms of the averaged squared amplitude of velocity, which is directly related to the sound radiation from the rails.

The Running Vibration Assessment of Daegu Metropolitan Transit using Smartphone Acceleration Sensor (스마트폰 가속도센서를 이용한 대구도시철도 주행진동평가)

  • Recently, various problems have arisen due to the popularization and aging of urban railway transit, which is the key transportation of large cities. In this study, the vibrational accelerations for the Daegu Metropolitan City Urban Railway(Line 1) were measured and evaluated using the smartphone built-in acceleration sensor and the approved application. For this purpose, the three axes running accelerations were measured according to the domestic standard (KS R 9160), and the acceleration data along the 32 stations (3 directions) were analyzed and compared. In addition, the increasing of acceleration values caused by the change of vibrational environment was monitored along the main stations between the time in 1997 and 2017. It was found that there are considerable increase of lateral and vertical directional accelerations due to the aging of railway facility environment for the last 20 years. The results of this study have valuable means for evaluating the ride quality of urban railway and the vibration influence on surrounding structures.

  • 최근에 철도의 고속화 운행이 유럽, 동아시아, 북아메리카에 이르기까지 빠르게 확장됨으로 인하여 수반되는 지반진동에 대한 문제가 관심이 되고 있다. 건설현장에서 널리 적용되고 있는 Deep Mixing 기술은 철도의 고속화에 따른 진동의 피해를 줄이는 방법으로도 사용되고 있다. Deep Mixing 공법은 특별히 설계된 장비를 사용하여 접착성재료와 통양을 혼합하여 생산된 기둥벽을 이용하는 지반개량공법이다. 본 논문의 목적은 유럽이나 일본에서 진동제어로 사용되어지는 최근의 Deep Mixing 공법을 종합 검토하고자 함이다.. 스웨덴과 일본의 현장계측 결과와 함께 해석적 수치적 해에 근거하여 개선된 지반의 거동을 해석 및 예측한다. 수치해석 결과는 Deep Mixing 공법의 진동저감에 대한 예측에 있어서 유용한 도구임을 보여준다.

  • Due to the travelling of the train with high speed the period of maintenance activities of the ballasted track is coming to be short, and more from the residential area of the ballasted track tunnel circumference the civil appeal is increasing with railroad vibration problem. To reduce the vibration problem and a maintenance cost establishes the ballast mat in the tunnel within part segment. In this study, to estimate the vibration reduction effect of the ballast mat we have done a comparative analysis with the vibration field test by the transit train by at the ballasted track with ballast mat and the standard ballasted track without vibration protection in tunnel.
