  • 하천관리지리정보시스템(RIMGIS)은 하천정보의 표준화 및 전산화를 통한 정보제공과 하천에 관련한 업무를 지원하기 위해 개발된 시스템으로 5개의 지방국토관리청에서 관리하고 있는 하천대장 및 부도, 구조물도 등의 다양한 하천 관련 정보를 정보화하여 인허가 및 하천기본계획 등의 하천업무를 신속하고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 운영되고 있다. 국가 주요 기반시설을 생애주기 관점에서 관리하고 소요재원의 확보근거를 마련하고자 "지속 가능한 기반시설 관리 기본법"이 제정되었고 최근에 시행되었다. 이에 따라 국토안전관리원에서는 도로·철도·철도 하천 등과 같은 사회기반시설(15종)의 노후화에 대비하여 전략적인 투자와 관리방식 도입을 목적으로 인프라 총조사 사업을 진하천 등과 같은 사회기반시설(15종)의 노후화에 대비하여 전략적인 투자와 관리방식 도입을 목적으로 인프라 총조사 사업을 진행하고 관리를 위해서 기반터 시스템을 도입하였다. 하천관리지리정보시스템과 기반터 시스템은 하천 기반시설의 정보가 데이터베이스에서 다뤄진다는 점에서 유사하지만, 기반터 시스템은 하천관리지리정보시스템과 달리 유지관리 측면에 대한 필요한 보수 주기, 필요 예산 등과 같은 정보를 산정할 수 있도록 프레임워크가 구성되어 있다. 그러나 하천과 기반시설의 코드를 연결하는 작업들은 현재 상황에서는 미흡한 실정이고, 유지관리와 시설물의 노후화를 가속화하는 홍수와 침수피해 등을 전체적으로 고려할 수 있는 방안에 대한 연구도 미진한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 하천 기반시설의 유지관리를 위해 하천, 제방, 인명에 대한 위험지수를 고려한 잠재 인명피해 위험도와 잠재 홍수피해 위험도를 평가기준으로 설정하고 적용하였다. 또한 이를 포함시킨 투자우선순위 평가기법을 도입하여 감가상각과 위험요소 등을 고려할 수 있는 데이터베이스 구성 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In BIM design, the construction and use of a library are very important. Since the existing contents can be re-used, the design can be executed more effectively and efficiently. Unlike the construction, the civil engineering, in particular, the railroad sees an inappropriate development and standardization of libraries. Thus, this study aims to develop and standardize the 3D object library in the railroad facility. We first gather and analyze the railroad facility breakdown structure and relevant drawings. We then match the items of analyzed standard drawings and the breakdown structure items. It was reviewed whether the library was required according to all items, and if required, it was reviewed what software was proper. Available software were found to be Civil 3D, Revit, etc. Based on this analysis, we will design the attribute items and specifications of the 3D railroad infrastructure library, as well as construct the library thereof.

  • As we learned in Daegu subway fire accident, fire in the railway tunnel is prone to develop to large disaster due to the limitation of smoke control and smoke exhaust. In railway tunnel, in order to ensure fire safety, fire prevention and fighting systems are installed by quantitative risk assessment results. Therefore, in this research, developed the program to establish quantitative risk assessment and suggested quantitative safety assessment method including fire scenarios in railway tunnel, fire and evacuation analysis model, fatality estimate model and societal risk criteria. Moreover, this method applys to plan preventing disaster for Honam high speed railway tunnel. As results, we presented the proper distance of escape route and societal risk criteria.

The Estimation of the Regional Gross Capital Stock in Transport Sector of Korea (교통부문의 지역별 자본스톡 추정)

  • In this research we estimated regional gross fixed capital stock of transport sector, such as road railroad, airport and seaport during 1968-1997 in Korea. We also compared our estimation results with those of Korea and Japan. As basic analytic method, we used the regional allocation method. To estimate regional gross fixed capital stock of transport sector, we used the basic data on national wealth surveys in 1997, regional land price index and regional facilities index in transport sectors. We used the most reasonable data in the process of estimation after reviewing the collected data In order to get the reasonable capital stock by regions. we chose the allocation index which can minimize the difference between the estimated result and the real regional capital stock in the process to allocate the total gross capital into the regions. Compared our results with those of other researches in Korea, estimates in our research project could be said more accurate than those.

  • In the construction phase, the existing schedule management system by 4D CAD has been difficult to check for a status and progress of construction product in real-time because it simulates only VR (virtual reality) object based on a planned schedule. This study suggests a construction schedule management system by telepresence technique that can visualize progress status in real-time by using 4D CAD system based on remote monitoring. The telepresence methodology and system were developed in the study and they were verified for a railway construction project. The developed system can examine the status and progress of construction because it can compare 4D simulation based on planned schedule with real-time site images through web-camera.

  • Growing qualitative and cost-based competition with the roads and air modes will be oblige the railways to make better use of their existing infrastructure than present. Development and use of new signalling and safety systems and introduction of wide-area control systems may make it possible to operate railway efficiently. Therefore. a comprehensive series of measures must be developed in the fields of technology, planning and management, measures which can operate today's korean railway systems intelligently and achieve cost savings, better quality services and improved results.

  • In oder to develope a train system for parcel service of high speed railway, which had been proposed for the operation of a high speed train, its conceptual design was build. Through this system, we are able to expect the fulfillment of customer needs for high speed rail market segments, and enhancement for cost-effective rail network operation of the mixed traffic on infrastructure cost-reduction in national logistics.

The computer system design tool supports to carry out requirement analysis, DB construction, and history and follow-up management efficiently.   • This primary study has some bounds md limits owing to the descriptive reviews but not detailed analyses. However, 1 tried to do the comparative analyses and case studies about location and size of rail station for future efficient use of spatial structure. Therefore, I reviewed the location of railway station and some design standards of railway station facilities by type (high speed rail, conventional rail and urban rail), and also, suggested future direction for rail station as the core of city development relating with urban structures and human settlement system reformation.
