Smart Railway Communication Standardization Trend and Direction (스마트 철도 통신 표준화 동향과 지향점)

  • The rail transport system is developing into a smart railroad that pursues intelligence beyond the automation stage of each component in recent years. Smart railways based on ICT (: Information & Communications Technology) technologies such as IoT (: Internet of Things), big data, deep learning, AI (: Artificial Intelligence), and block chain are expected to cause many developmental changes in domestic and foreign railway technologies. In this paper, we look at the domestic and international standardization trends of railway communication technology, which forms the basis of such smart railway system, and discuss the direction for train control technology(CBTC) in Korea's railway transportation system to become a leading technology(UBTC) in the world railway industry in the future.

  • 철도교는 도로교와 달리 하중조건이 매우 다양하고 복잡하다. 특히 열차에 관계된 하중들은 일반적인 모델링에 대해 하중을 재하하기가 까다로울 뿐만 아니라, 그 해석 결과를 실 구조물의 설계에 반영하기에는 많은 논란이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 철도교의 설계시 사용되는 열차에 관계된 하중들의 산정방법과 구조해석 모델링에 이러한 하중들을 재하하는 방법의 변화에 따른 구조해석 결과를 비교, 검토함으로써, 앞으로 수행되는 철도교의 설계에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.(중략)

  • 철도건널목은 철도와 도로법에서 정한 도로(사도를 포함)가 평면으로 교차하는 곳을 건널목이라 하며, 정거장 구내에서 직원 또는 여객의 통행과 화물의 운반만을 목적으로 사용되는 구내통로는 제외한다. 우리나라의 철도는 1899년 9월 18일 경인선(노량진∼제물포)의 개통을 시작으로 경제성장에 커짐에 따라 여객과 화물수송의 급격한 증가를 가져오고 있으며, 열차운행 빈도도 급속하게 늘어나고 있다.(중략)

  • The number of parameters and the number of samples are the key point of trans-log cost function which studied recently. Most of models show that the number of parameters is more than the number of samples. Therefore, these studies gave unreliability of the estimation results. First, we surveyed theoretical cases and researches for the formulation of cost function of railroad industry. Second, we will suggest trans-log cost function by analyzing cost data of KNR. And, the cumulative data will be needed for the confidence of estimation results.

  • 컴퓨터를 활용한 제어 시스템은 우리들의 생활 속에 깊숙이 관여하고 있다. 컴퓨터를 사용한 제어는 가전제품, 휴대폰 항공기, 철도 등 다양한 산업분야에서 응용되고 있으며, 그 적용분야를 넓혀가고 있고, 성능향상이 급속히 진행되고 있으며, 인간생활의 의존도가 점점 커지고 있다. 따라서 컴퓨터의 안전성과 신뢰성은 현재 사회에서 가장 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 최근에 전국적으로 인터넷 망에 바이러스가 침투를 하여, 인터넷을 마비시키는 상태가 발생하여, 상당히 큰 피해를 경험하였다. 이와 같이 컴퓨터 제어 시스템의 기능이 정지되거나 오작동을 할 경우에는 사용자에게 상당한 피해를 줄 수 있다. 따라서 컴퓨터 시스템의 신뢰성과 안전성은 사회전반에 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 반드시 확보해야할 목표 중에 하나이다. A Study on the Evaluation of Economic Benefit for Railway Transshipment System with Non-Powered Turntable (무동력 회전장치를 이용한 철도환적시스템의 경제성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to estimate economic benefits for the investment of railway transshipment system with non-powered turntable. The freight transport by railway can have decided advantages over trucks in terms of energy efficiency, emissions and cost for certain freight movements, just as transportation in the metropolitan region can have great advantages over driving truck. But the freight transport by truck should gain significant mobility benefits from a freight railway system. Thus, the railway transshipment system with non-powered turntable which is coupled railway transport advantages with load transport advantages has been developed and used in the european countries. This research has conducted the empirical analysis, by calculating the investment of railway transshipment system with non-powered turntable. The key factor for the economic benefits for the non-powered turntable is the utilizing throughputs. This demand is influenced by the throughput in the railway transshipment system. The main results of this paper are as follows: railway transshipment system with non-powered turntable does not have economic benefit for investment. We recommend that the plan for investment has to be considered the modification.
