  • A Social Network Service(SNS) is the best attracting internet business model and serviced in the several countries. The Facebook is the most popular SNS in a foreign country and the Cyworld is most popular one in Korea. In this paper, after investing and analyzing the existing Social Network Services, I present a new OpenU Social Network Service based on Web 2.0 concepts. This is a next generation internet platform which can be communicated with real-time chatting and share d data and talked during seeing data by collaboration functions OpenU's main characteristics and functions by screen design and implementations are explained. And also OpenU's excellence by comparing with other SNSs system is presented.

  • As Internet is spreaded widely, the virtual communities among people with the same interest and hobby are dynamically created. The exchange of fruitful opinion and information makes them to be closed, not only with the help of the messaging system but also wireless terminals. The messaging system is a core technology supporting the global community services like chatting, messenger, short message services, and file sharing services. The paper focus on the design of software architecture for messaging system and the engineering model for QoS support.

  • Mobile communication has become more pervasive and it is considered as one of main concerns oi conferencing, multi-user games and etc. in mobile environment. These applications need to secure communication in group. Most of the published protocols are based on model which consists of a stationary base station and a cluster of mobile devices. In this paper, we have focused on the extended model of which participants are several base stations and mobile devices in different cells. We present a new group key protocol among mobile devices in different cells and analyze its security And we also look at how password authentication can be used to our group key agreement protocol. The mobile device's computing load may be reduced by using password authentication.

  • New research on internet addiction identifies online users who became hooked on internet online games, chatting, and even internet shopping only to see their lives become increasingly unmanageable because of the Internet. The purpose of this study is to examine the causal relationship between internet addiction and social psychological factors of college students. This study model used four themes(self-esteem, self-efficacy, family relationships, stress) in order to identify the effect of social psychological factors on internet addiction. The result of this study identified that self-esteem, self-efficacy, stress have a significant effect on internet addiction. Future areas for studying internet addiction are continuously discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest areas for improvement of KakaoTalk. KakaoTalk is used by everyone in Korea, and even elementary school students have been using it a lot recently. Therefore, to help parents feel safe about their children using KakaoTalk, and to ensure that children are not worried about their parents when using them, I would like to examine each user's experience to pinpoint the problem. As a method of study, a survey and interview was conducted on eight parents and eight children using KakaoTalk. Through this, the parents could not trust KakaoTalk in terms of reliability when they saw their children using KakaoTalk. Based on this research, we hope to improve KakaoTalk through further research so that parents and children can use Kakao Talk safely.

Pace and Facial Element Extraction in CCD-Camera Images by using Snake Algorithm (스네이크 알고리즘에 의한 CCD 카메라 영상에서의 얼굴 및 얼굴 요소 추출)

  • 최근 IT 산업이 급성장하면서 화상 회의, 게임, 채팅 등에서의 아바타(avatar) 제어를 위한 자연스러운 인터페이스 기술이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 동적 윤곽선 모델(active contour models; snakes)을 이용하여 복잡한 배경이 있는 컬러 CCD 카메라 영상에서 얼굴과 눈, 입, 눈썹, 코 등의 얼굴 요소에 대해 윤곽선을 추출하거나 위치를 파악하는 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 스네이크 알고리즘은 잡음에 민감하고 초기 모델을 어떻게 설정하는가에 따라 추출 성능이 크게 좌우되기 때문에 주로 단순한 배경의 영상에서 정면 얼굴의 추출에 사용되어왔다 본 연구에서는 이러한 단점을 파악하기 위해, 먼저 YIQ 색상 모델의 I 성분을 이용한 색상 정보와 차 영상 정보를 사용하여 얼굴의 최소 포함 사각형(minimum enclosing rectangle; MER)을 찾고, 이 얼굴 영역 내에서 기하학적인 위치 정보와 에지 정보를 이용하여 눈, 입, 눈썹, 코의 MER을 설정한다. 그런 다음, 각 요소의 MER 내에서 1차 미분과 2차 미분에 근거한 내부 에너지와 에지에 기반한 영상 에너지를 이용한 스네이크 알고리즘을 적용한다. 이때, 에지 영상에서 얼굴 주변의 복잡한 잡음을 제거하기 위하여 색상 정보 영상과 차 영상에 각각 모폴로지(morphology)의 팽창(dilation) 연산을 적용하고 이들의 AND 결합 영상에 팽창 연산을 다시 적용한 이진 영상을 필터로 사용한다. 총 7명으로부터 양 눈이 보이는 정면 유사 방향의 영상을 20장씩 취득하여 총 140장에 대해 실험한 결과, MER의 오차율은 얼굴, 눈, 입에 대해 각각 6.2%, 11.2%, 9.4%로 나타났다. 또한, 스네이크의 초기 제어점을 얼굴은 44개, 눈은 16개, 입은 24개로 지정하여 MER추출에 성공한 영상에 대해 스네이크 알고리즘을 수행한 결과, 추출된 영역의 오차율은 각각 2.2%, 2.6%, 2.5%로 나타났다.해서 Template-based reasoning 예를 보인다 본 방법론은 검색노력을 줄이고, 검색에 있어 Feasibility와 Admissibility를 보장한다.매김할 수 있는 중요한 계기가 될 것이다.재무/비재무적 지표를 고려한 인공신경망기법의 예측적중률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 로지스틱회귀 분석의 재무적 지표모형은 훈련, 시험용이 84.45%, 85.10%인 반면, 재무/비재무적 지표모형은 84.45%, 85.08%로서 거의 동일한 예측적중률을 가졌으나 인공신경망기법 분석에서는 재무적 지표모형이 92.23%, 85.10%인 반면, 재무/비재무적 지표모형에서는 91.12%, 88.06%로서 향상된 예측적중률을 나타내었다.ting LMS according to increasing the step-size parameter $\mu$ in the experimentally computed. learning curve.   • Recently, the traditional call center, which has an important role as the customer's primary contact point, has been transformed into the omni-channel contact center which supports an additional variety of access channels in addition to phone calls in order to improve customer accessibility and convenience. The omni-channel contact center has agents on each channel which are vital in determining the response rate and waiting time for the customer. In traditional call centers, agents can be assigned to a call based on the characteristics of the call, however in omni-channel contact centers, the characteristics of issues vary and come in through multiple channels, each with their own characteristics, making it difficult to assign the appropriate agent for the issue. Customers must also be processed at the same time, adding an additional layer of complexity to the issue. This paper analyzes and simulates an omni-channel contact center that accommodates email, chat, voice calls and video consultation, and investigates how to optimize the allocation of agents.

  • WebRTC is one of the most recent technologies that supports browser-to-browser for voice calling, video chat, and P2P file sharing without the need of either internal or external plugins. However, there has some limitation which lets our development deal with many problems. This research will focus just on a small field of that problem which is bandwidth. While the bandwidth for downloading and uploading is fixed by service providers, but the number of users in a certain area is increasing largely by the time. In this paper, we propose a model to overcome the limitation of the bandwidth based on fuzzy control to adjust utilized bandwidth by changing frame rate and resolution of streaming video in the client itself.

A Study on Web-based Collaborative CAD System (웹 기반 협동 CAD시스템에 관한 연구)

  • As computer systems and communication technologies develop rapidly, CSCW(Computer Supported Collaborative Work) system appears nowadays, through which it is available to work on virtual space without any restriction of time and place. Most of CWCS systems depend on a special network and groupware. The systems of graphics and CAD are not so many because they are specified by hardware and application software. In this paper, we propose a web-based collaborative CAD system, which can be jointly worked on Internet WWW being independent from any platforms. It can create and modify 3D objects easily using VRML and Java 3D API, and it can send, print, and store them. The interactive work for designing objects can be also carried out through chatting with each other. This system is executed in the environment of Client/server architecture. Clients connect to the CAD sewer through Java applet on WWW. The server is implemented by Java application, and it consists of three components : connection manager which controls the contact to users, work manager which keeps viewing in concurrency and provides virtual work space sharing with others, and solid modeler which creates 3D object.

Analysis of Importance, Understanding Level and Needs by Subject of College Students Preparing for Radiological Technologists National Examination (방사선사 국가시험 준비를 위한 대학생들의 과목별 중요도와 이해도 수준 및 요구도 분석)

  • The aim of this study analyzed the important level (IL) and understanding level (UL) including the Borich's need for students preparing of the national examination for radiological technologists at online open chatting room. A total of 254 survey were collected from a total of 1,016 students who used open chatting room from December 13 to December 16, 2022. A general characteristics were the age, gender, curriculum (3 or 4 years), grade and area. The IL, UL, learning satisfaction (LS), learning achievement (LA) and intention to continue using (ICU) were analyzed by using the 5 point Likert scale. There was no significant difference the LS, LA, and ICU according to general characteristics (p>0.05). There was a statistically significant difference a total of sixteen subjects based on the t-test results of the response values from the IL and UL (p<0.05). The total of ten subjects with the highest priority in the Locus for Focus models were the Ultrasonography, Human anatomy, Magnetic resonance imaging, Radiation therapy, Cardiovascular and intervention, Computed tomography, Human physiology, Radiographic imaging, Fluroscopic radiography, and Nuclear medicine) that the Borich's need was also the same as the top 10 ranked subjects. The LS (4.23±0.72), LA (4.18±0.73), and ICU (4.15±0.78) for open chatting room were high. This study identified the subjects most needed by college students by the Borich's need analysis. First, it is necessary to provide intensive education on subjects with high scores that are most needed by college students. Second, it is necessary to improve the teaching method for subjects with low need and low level of understanding.
