In this paper: we propose the adaptive error concealment technique for scalable video coding over wireless network error prove environment. We prove it is very effective that Error concealment techniques proposed in this paper are applied to scalable video data. In this paper, we propose two methods of error concealment. First one is that the en·or is concealed using the motion vector of base layer and previous VOP data. Second one is that according to existence of motion vector in error position, the error is concealed using the same position data of base layer when the motion vector is existing otherwise using the same position data of previous VOP when the motion vector is 0(zero) adaptively. We show that according to various error pattern caused by condition of wireless network and characteristics of sequence, we refer decoder to base layer data or previous enhancement layer data to effective error concealment. Using scalable coding of MPEG-4 In this paper, this error concealment techniques are available to be used every codec based on DCT.
In this paper, we numerically induced the optimal values of optical phase conjugator (OPC) position and dispersion coefficients of fiber sections, which can improve the bit error rate (BER) and design the adaptive WDM transmission system, as a function of the extinction ratio (ER) of 10 dB and 20 dB in $16{\times}40$ Gb/s WDM transmission system. It is confirmed that these optimal parameter values for effectively compensating overall WDM channels are dependence on the extinction ratio of signals as well as modulation format, transmitted channel numbers, which were investigated in previous researches. It is also confirmed that ER of 20 dB has the advantage of designing flexible WDM systems using optimal parameters than ER of 10 dB.

Range and velocity measurement algorithm is a procedure for estimating the accurate target position by using matched filter outputs equally spaced both in range and doppler frequency domain. Especially, in measurement algorithm for multi-function radar, it is necessary to consider processing time as well as accuracy in order to track multi-targets simultaneously. In this paper, we analyze range and velocity measurement algorithm using discriminator estimation method which is a technique applied to angle measurement of monopulse radar. The applied method required constant processing time for estimation can be used in multiple target tacking. But, it is necessary to consider measurement accuracy because of using minimum channel outputs for estimation. In the simulation, we show that the applied method is superior to the traditional gravity center measurement algorithm with respect to the accuracy performance and also analyze the characteristics of the proposed technique by calculating RMS error level as the processing parameters such as pulse width , channel step, etc. change.

Since the broadcast message in satellite signals the security of the data is extremely poor compared to other communication technologies such as the broadcast signal. Thus, encryption of the communication satellite has become a very important issue, an analysis of the communication performance of a general service is always required. In this paper, In order to analyze the encrypted communication the turbo code in an IP-based satellite communication applies the code rate compatible punctured and The wireless channel in consideration of the actual satellite communication was constructed by placing a weight on the Rayleigh fading and the Rician fading two channels. Retransmission-based error control scheme were constructed in the best performance of H-ARQ Type-II, III scheme of a number of ways that are recently considered. we analyzed the effects of normal service against a satellite communication network The security services were configured with encryption algorithms AES, ARIA (CTR, CBC mode).

Satellite signal is excellent broadband, can provide the same information in a wide range, but there is a disadvantage that much less of the security level of the data. Therefore, supplementation of safety is a serious problem than anything in the satellite communication. In this paper, it was simulated by applying ARIA in encryption technique and by applying transport mode, tunnel mode in security header AH and ESP in order to examine the effect of IPsec VPN. In addition, we had compare with general services that do not apply encryption in order to analyze the impact of the encryption algorithm. Channel, by applying the Markov channel and adding AWGN, is constituted a satellite communication environment. In case of retransmission based error control scheme, we applied Type-II HARQ scheme and Type-III HARQ scheme which are performance is a good way in recently, and it is constituted by a turbo code and BPSK modulation scheme. we were analyzed performance in BER and Throughput in order to compare the simulation more effectively.

A new multi constant modulus algorithm (MCMA) for a blind decision feedback equalizer is proposed. In order to avoid the error propagation problem in the conventional DFE structure, Feed-Back Filter coefficients are updated only after Feed-Forward Filter coefficients are sufficiently converged to the steady state. Therefore, it has the problem of slow convergence speed characteristics. To overcome this drawback, the proposed MCMA algorithm uses not only new cost function considering the minimum distance between the received signal and the representative value containing the statistical characteristics of the transmitted signal, but also adaptive step-size according to the equalizer outputs to fast convergence speed of FBF. Simulations were carried out under the certified communication channel environment to evaluate a performance of the proposed equalizer. The simulation results show that the proposed equalizer has an improved convergence and SER performance compared with previous methods. The proposed techniques offer the possibility of practical equalization for cable modem and terrestrial HDTV broadcast (using 8-VSB or 64-QAM) applications.

In this paper, the system performance with the selection diversity, which is applied to the FH/MFSK system in Nakagami fading channel, is analyzed. The deletion probability is derived from the received signal to noise ratio(SNR) after selection combining and the parameters such as the number of users(M), SNR, Nakagami fading figure(m), and the number of diversity branches(D) is used for the performance analysis of the FH/MFSK system. Assuming that m set 1, it is observed that the bit error rate(BER) is 1.0$\times$$10^{-3}$ and 1.0$\times$$10^{-4}$ at D =1(no diversity) and D=2, respectively, and then is decreased by 10 times. Assuming that m set 2, it is also shown that the BER has a constant value although D is increased. In the case of D=2, the system capacity is more 75% and 20% than that considering no diversity at SNR=15 dB and 25 dB, respectively.
Recent works on multiuser transmission techniques have shown that the linear growth of capacity in single user MIMO system can be translated to the multiuser MIMO scenario as well. In this paper, we propose a method pursuing performance gain of vector perturbation in multiuser downlink systems. Instead of employing maximum number of mobile users for communication, we use small part of them as virtual users for improving reliability of users participating communication. By controlling parameters of virtual users including information and perturbation vector, we obtain considerable improvement in the effective SNR, resulting in large gain in bit error rate performance. Simulation results on the realistic multiuser downlink systems show that the proposed method brings substantial performance gain over the standard vector perturbation with marginal overhead in computations.

This paper presents the blind multiuser detector using the constant modulus algorithm(CMA) to solve the near-far problem in DS-CDMA systems. The convergence property of the detector is compared with the conventional MOE(minimum output energy) detector by means of SIR(signal-to-interference ratio). The MOE detector needs both the spreading code of the users and the timing information, while proposed methods needs only information about the spreading code of users Simulation results show that the CMA-based detector is superior to the conventional blind MOE multiuser detector. For this, the BER performance was tested using different values of SNR and near-far ratio. The SIR is also investigated for different number of users in AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels. We have observed that the proposed blind multiuser detector performs better than conventional MOE multiuser detector.

In this paper, we propose a low complexity bilateral search SIC for OFDM in fast time-varying channels. Due to the possibility of error propagation in SIC, symbol detection ordering within the block of symbols has a significant effect on the overall performance. In this paper, the first symbol to be detected is determined based on CSEP values, and then the next symbol to be detected is selected according to the updated CSEP while bilaterally searching from the boundary of the detected symbol group. Through computer simulations, we show that the proposed method has performance improvements with almost the same computation complexity over the conventional methods in the high SNR region. It has a performance approaching the MFB, known as the performance upper bound, within 2dB at the BER of $10^{-5}$.
