This study explored how Korean immigrants education, length of stay and English fluency affect their political socialization, mediated through traditional news media and the news Web use. Political socialization included political knowledge, interest, and participation. The media usage patterns included U.S. news media, U.S. news Web, Korean news Web, and Korean news Media use by Korean immigrants in the United State. This study found as follows. First, education, length of stay, and English fluency indirectly increased political socialization(political knowledge, interest, and participation) through their relationship with U.S. news media use. Second, U.S. news Web played a potentially important role in Korean immigrants' political socialization by increasing their political interest. Third, Korean news media partly contributed to Korean immigrants' political socialization by increasing their political interest. Fourth, Korean news Web use did not contribute to Korean immigrants' political socialization in terms of political knowledge, interest, and participation at all. In conclusion, this study found that traditional news media's role was more important than news Web's one in the process of immigrants' political socialization to the host society.

지속가능한 수자원관리를 위한 물관리의 거버넌스구축에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 또한 물 관리기본법(안)에 의하면 유역위원회를 통한 물관리 이해당사자의 참여원칙이 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 물관리 참여는 우선, 물관리 공급자(공급기관)간의 거버넌스가 구축되어야 하고, 이후 물관리 이용자(국민)의 참여로 확대되어야 한다. 그러나 우리나라의 물관리기관이 공급자중심으로 분산되어 있어 물관리 기관간의 거버넌스 구축에 많은 초점이 맞춰져 있어, 물관리 이용자의 참여와 협력, 역할분담에 대한 논의가 미흡한 실정이다. 농업용수는 일반 생공업용수와 달리, 농업용수의 이용자가 곧 관리자였던 특성을 가지고 있다. 물론 2000년 이후 과거 농업인 중심의 조합조직이 국가(공적기관) 중심의 공사조직으로 변화되어 있지만, 아직까지도 농업용수 이용자인 농업인이 농업용수관리에 일정부분 참여하고 기여하고 있는 바가 있다. 따라서, 오랜 농업용수관리에 있어 용수이용자가 어떻게 물관리에 참여하여 왔고, 국제적인 물관리 참여형태가 어떻게 이루어져 왔는지 살펴봄으로서, 생공업용수를 비롯한 타 분야의 이용자까지 포함되는 물관리 참여를 유도할 것인지에 대한 좋은 사례가 될것이며, 이를 통하여 물 이용자와 공급자가 함께하는 거버넌스를 구축해 나갈수 있을 것이다.

팀 프로젝트 기반 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에서 팀의 동료 학습자들은 공동의 성과물을 얻기 위해 다양한 팀 활동을 하게 되며 그 과정에서 여러 학습 능력이 향상될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 팀 프로젝트에 참여하는 학습자들이 팀 구성, 주제 선정, 프로젝트 계획서 작성, 역할 분담, 팀 단위의 프로그래밍 개발 활동 및 평가에 참여하는 과정에서 얻게 되는 학습 성과를 분석해보고자 한다. 팀 프로젝트 수행과 관련 있는 창의력, 협동 능력, 의사소통 능력 그리고 문제해결 능력에 대해 학습자들 스스로 얼마나 향상되었다고 느끼는지 조사분석하여 다음 학기 수업 운영 시 교수법 개선에 반영하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate views of high school students' learning of chemistry as one aspect of conceptual ecology. The results of this study will help us expand our understanding of conceptual change as it is used to evaluate learners. I made use of an interpretative research design based on principles of naturalistic inquiry. The participants in this study were six sophomore students. The picture of a chemistry class we draw from analyzing data is a play on stage with little interaction. Students accept passive and difficult-to-modify views of the learner roles that they should play in the chemistry classroom. Students identified chemistry classes as conservative places. 'Transmission' seems to remain the persistent and dominant classroom cultural dynamic for both the teaching and learning of chemistry. Students should understand about learning processes, and how to play, monitor, evaluate and regulate them. Students should experience the plausibility and fruitfulness of learning chemistry, and it will help students to feel a "love of learning chemistry." As students change their views of learning chemistry, it will help to improve their learning and to experience conceptual change in chemistry learning.

소셜 미디어(social media)가 급속히 발달하고 대중화되면서, 뮤지엄(museum)의 관람객은 시 공간의 제약 없이 뮤지엄의 콘텐츠를 향유하는 동시에, 전통적인 관람객의 역할을 넘어 매개자(mediator), 프로슈머(prosumer), 그리고 크리에이터(creator)로 활동하고 있다. 또한, 뮤지엄도 고유의 업무 수행에 다수 관람객의 참여를 유도하며 관람객과 적극적으로 소통하고 있다. 이러한 흐름 속에, 이화여자대학교박물관에서는 소셜 미디어를 기반으로 사전 설문조사를 진행하여 작품에 대한 설문 참여자의 반응을 수집한 후 이를 바탕으로 큐레이션에 대중의 선호도를 반영하는 '관람객 참여전시'를 개최하였다. 더 나아가 알고리즘 기반 전시 큐레이션 모델도 개발하였는데, 이 모델은 앞의 관람객 참여전시에서 얻은 데이터를 활용하여 컴퓨터가 일반 관람객의 개인적 취향에 부합하는 작품을 자동으로 추천하고, 이를 바탕으로 개별 관람객에게 '개인적으로 최적화된' 전시를 구성할 수 있는 기반을 제공한다. 본 논문은 이러한 이화여자대학교박물관의 최신 전시활동을 소개하며, 초연결, 초지능화의 시대에 관람객들이 뮤지엄에 다양하게 참여하고 함께 소통할 수 있는 방법을 모색하고자 한다.

The idea of Library 2.0 originated from the concept of Web 2.0 social interactions within the Web. From this aspect, Library 2.0 is a library blended with Web 2.0. The most remarkable features of Library 2.0 are interactions and user involvement. Users' roles in new library environments are greater since they can contribute to establishing a library collection by annotating, blogging, reviewing, etc. While users' roles become important, the responsibilities of the librarians increase due to the unfiltered information created by users. Librarians now should extend their roles as information creators, organizers, providers, managers, as well as moderators. In this paper, we reviewed the current literature on the new paradigm of digital libraries, Library 2.0, and the development of Library 2.0. In addition, we discuss the extended role of the Librarian 2.0 in Library 2.0.

This study analyzed the phenomenological research method of Giorgi in order to understand the changes in the self-esteem of middle-aged women through group bibliotherapy. During this study, 12 sessions were conducted for six middle-aged women, and the participants' statements in the recorded files were analyzed and integrated into 221 semantic units, 16 sub-situations/topics, 6 situations/topics, and 3 groups. During the research, the participants suffered from neurosis symptoms due to family difficulties. Nevertheless, bibliotherapy showed favorable results; the use of picture books and thus the interaction between the participants led to positive, emotional and psychological responses. Furthermore, from the study, it was concluded that religious life played an important role in healing the participants' wounds.

In The increasing use of computers and high-speed Internet network has greatly influenced education, causing a veering away from the typical and traditional way of delivering instruction. Specifically, the various kinds of Web-based multimedia technology, the interactive activities on the Internet, and satellite broadcasting technology are accelerating the emergence of a virtual-lectures-based educational model, which transcends time and space. Such virtual lectures make it possible for the entire teaching-learning process to be done in a virtual learning environment, thus giving rise to problem regarding learning guidance, feedback, and appraisal. In this paper, we propose a system for attendance appraisal for learner participation degree based virtual lecture, an appraisal element in virtual learning environments. This appraisal model can set the elements of virtual learning environments in such a way as to reflect in the attendance appraisal of the opened virtual learning environment information regarding the learner's participation in class. In addition, this model motivates the learners to actively participate in the virtual learning environment and to support instructors by accomplishing the activities that are needed for attendance appraisal.

해양환경문제는 지역적으로 시작하여 광역적으로 확산되기 때문에 지방정부에서 사고 시에 신속하게 대응하고 상시에 사전예방적으로 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 현행 해양환경관리는 대부분 중앙정부가 담당하고 있기 때문에 지방정부의 역할을 보다 강화할 필요가 있다고 본다. 본고는 역대 부산광역시의회 안건처리일람을 분석함으로써 해양환경관리 부문에 있어서 지방의회의 역할을 분석하고자 하였다. 이는 지방정부 정책형성과정의 공식적 참여자로서, 또한 지역주민의 의견을 수렴하는 대표기관으로서 지방분권 시대에 그 중요성이 점차 높아지고 있는 지방의회의 역할을 되짚어 본다는 측면에서 의미가 있다고 하겠다.

임상 프로토콜은 의료 서비스의 질을 향상시키는데 매우 중요한 수단 중 하나이다. 하지만 대부분의 임상 프로토콜이 텍스트 기반으로 되어 있을 뿐만 아니라 텍스트 기반의 임상 프로토콜들이 실행 가능한 형태로 시스템화가 되었더라도 치료를 하는 전문의의 관점에서만 기술되어 왔다. 한편 최근의 임상 연구는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스를 이용한 환자 개인의 맞춤형 의료서비스에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이와 같은 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 환경에서는 환자가 병원에서 뿐만 아니라 시간과 장소의 제약을 받지 않고 휴대용 단말기나 진단기기를 이용하여 효과적으로 의료 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있기 때문에 전문의뿐만 아니라 환자와 시스템도 헬스케어에 참여를 하게 된다. 따라서 전문의 중심의 임상 프로토콜 기술로부터 참여자 중심의 임상 프로토콜 기술이 절실히 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 전문의, 환자, 그리고 시스템의 역할에 따라 프로토콜 상에서 수행되어야 할 태스크들과 참여자들의 상태정보를 태스크 튜플 형태로 표현하였다. 하지만 태스크 튜플 기반의 표현 방법은 임상 프로토콜올 직관적으로 이해하는 데는 한계 있어 이러한 단점을 보완한 패트리 넷 기반의 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 프로토콜 기술 방법을 제안한다.
