Comparison of physique and physical fitness in sports talent children with TES program (스포츠탤런트 발굴 참여 아동의 체격 및 체력 요소 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the comparison of physique with physical fitness according to TBS (Talented-Educational in Sport) program by H University in 2009-2011. For this study, 668 elementary students (2009: 297, 2010: 194, 2011: 177 or 1st: 506, 2nd: 104, 3rd: 58) were collected who aged 7 to 13 living in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. The subjects were measured on physique variables (5) and physical fitness variables (7). Mean comparisons (ANOVA) were conducted for each gender in order to compare the mean differences among attendance number. For association analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient was used to find association between the physique and physical fitness variables. Some physical fitness variables (sit up, half squat jump, side step, standing long jump, flexibility in male children; sit up, half squat jump, side step in female children) increased significantly in the attendance number but the physique variables did not. The results show that TES program was effective on the physical fitness variables (muscle endurance & agility) in sports talent children.

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 시중에 판매되고 있는 네 가지 휴대용 음원재생기를 자극물로 사용하여 제품 속성에 있어서의 차이가 사용자 경험의 여러 요소에 영향을 주는지 여부(가설 1)와 사용자의 정서적 반응이 사용자가 인식한 제품 특성에 의해 영향을 받는지(가설 2) 그리고 제품에 대한 전체적인 판단이 사용자가 인식한 제품 특성과 감성적 반응에 따라 달라지는지(가설 3) 실험을 통해 조사하였다. 실험결과 기능적 특성과 유희적 특성에 대한 인식 정도는 실험 참가자가 사용한 제품에 따라 서로 다르게 나타났으며, 사용자의 정서적 반응과 전체적인 선호도 또한 평가 제품에 따라 서로 다르게 나타남으로서 제품 속성에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 이와 함께 사용자 경험을 구성하는 요소들 간의 상호관계도 테스트하였는데, 사용자의 정서적 반응이 주로 제품의 기능적 특성에 따라 달라지는 반면 사용자의 전체적인 판단은 제품의 기능적 특성과 유희적 특성 모두에 의해 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또 분석결과에서 밝혀진 한 가지 흥미로운 사실은 사용자의 정서적 반응이 전체적인 판단에 아무런 역할도 하지 않는다는 점이다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the Correlation Analysis between Awareness of the Serious Disaster and Safety Consciousness of Construction Workers under the Act on the Punishment of Serious. A survey was conducted on construction workers, construction managers, and safety managers. The results of this study were as follows; The correlation analysis conducted among the three groups indicated a significant correlation, with safety managers demonstrating the highest correlation, followed by construction managers and construction workers, and all three groups exhibited a moderate correlation. The correlation analysis conducted for the entire group also revealed a significant correlation, and as the number of participants increased, higher correlation coefficients were observed. Furthermore, to ascertain the significance of the correlation coefficients, a comparison was made between the p-value and the significance level (α). Consequently, a p-value smaller than the significance level of 0.05 was obtained, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of awareness of the serious Accidents Punishment Act and the level of Safety Consciousness of Construction. One limitation of this study is that it relied on a subjective indicator through a survey, which may introduce variability in the difficulty level of the questionnaire items.

The Effects of Robot's Persuasive Intention and it's Physical Distance with Consumers on Consumers' Evaluation on the Robot and Product Purchase Intention (로봇의 설득의도와 소비자와의 물리적 거리가 소비자의 로봇에 대한 평가와 제품의 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The current study explored how robot's persuasive intent and its' physical distance affect consumers' evaluaton on the robot and the product that the robot advertises. This study administered a 2 (level of pursasion intent: low vs. high) × 2 (physical distance: normal vs. close) between-subjects factorial design experiment. The findings revealed that consumers evaluated the robot' expertise and trustworthiness more negatively and reported lower intentions to buy the produce when they perceived robot's persasive intent saliently high. Consumers were also found to show more negative attitude toward the robot and lower intentions to buy the produce when the robot approached to their personal space more closely. The theoretical and practical implications about human-robot interaction in marketing context were discussed.

The Relationship between Exercise Emotion, Leisure Satisfaction and Psychological Well-being of Participants in Life Sports in the COVID 19 (코로나 19상황에서 생활체육 참여자들의 운동정서, 여가만족, 심리적 웰빙의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic information to help improve the quality of life by identifying the relationship between exercise emotion, leisure satisfaction, and psychological well-being for subjects who are participating in physical sports on a limited condition in a pandemic situation caused by COVID-19. To achieve the purpose of this study, Statistical analysis was performed accordingly, after data were collected through the significance sampling method using the sports emotion, leisure satisfaction, and psychological well-being scales from members who participate in physical sports at a sports facility located in Gyeonggi-do. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that there were no significant differences in exercise emotion, leisure satisfaction, and psychological well-being by the gender of the participants. Second, there was a significant difference in exercise emotion, leisure satisfaction, and psychological well-being by the careers of them. Third, there was a significant positive correlation between exercise emotion, leisure satisfaction, and psychological well-being. Fourth, exercise emotion affected psychological well-being, having a positive effect on leisure satisfaction. Finally, exercise emotion had a positive effect on psychological happiness. In conclusion, the exercise emotion had a positive and close correlation between leisure satisfaction and psychological well-being of the participants in Life Sports.

The Assessment of Reporting Interventions in Randomized Controlled Trials of Acupuncture according to the STRICTA Recommendation (STRICTA 권고안에 따른 침 효과에 대한 무작위 대조군 임상 시험 논문의 개업 보고에 대한 평가)

  • 목 적 : Pubmed에서 검색된 침의 효과에 대한 무작위 대조군 임상시험논문에서 STRICTA 권고안의 반영률을 알아보고자 본 연구를 계획하였다 . 방 법 : Pubmed에서 2003 년 7 월 1 일부터 2004 년 6 월 30 일까지 발간된 침 무작위 대조군 임상시험 논문을 검색 한 후 수작업으로 침의 효과에 대해 무작위 대조군 임상시험을 실시한 36 개의 논문을 채택하였다 .대상논문들의 저널, 대상 질병에 대해 조사하였으며 Jadad scale 접수를 매기고 STRICT A 권고안의 반영률을 ‘STRICTA 접수’를 매겨서 알아보았다. 논문이 SCI, SCIE, 무등재된 저널 중 어디에 실려 있는가에 따라 ANOVA 를 사용하여 Jadad 점 수 및 STRICTA 점수에 차이가 있는지 알아보았으며 단순상관 분석을 통해 STIRCT A 점수와 Jadad scale 접수의 관계를 살펴보았다. 결 과 : Jadad scale 접수의 평균은 2.6점 이었으며 STRICTA 접수의 평균은 11.0점 이었다. 36편의 침 무작위 임상시험논문에서 다음의 6가지 항목 - 문현적 근거, 자침 깊이, 함께 처치한 내용, 시술자 배경, 참가자의 맹검여부. 대조군 선택을 정당화 할 수 있는 근거-의 기술율은 50% 미만이었다. SCI, SOE, 무둥재된 것에 따라 논문들의 Jadad 접수 평균은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으나 STRICTA 점수 평균에서는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 한편 STRICTA 점수와 Jadad scale 점수 간에는 아무런 관계가 없었다. 결 론 :36 편의 침 임상시험 논문은 STRICTA 권고안의 많은 부분을 받아들이고 있었으며 STRICTA 권고안을 받아들이는 정도는 Jadad 점수와는상관이 없었다.

  • To ensure safer road conditions, understanding the human factors influencing driving behavior is crucial. However, there are many difficulties in deriving the characteristics of individual human factors that affect actual driving behaviors. Therefore, this study analyzes self-reported dangerous-driving propensities in order to explore potential correlations with drivers' behaviors. The goal is to propose a method for assessing driving tendencies based on varying traffic scenarios. The study employed a questionnaire to gauge participants' propensity to drive dangerously, utilizing a simulator to analyze their driving behaviors. The aim is to determine any notable connections between dangerous-driving propensity and specific driving behaviors. Results indicate that individuals exhibiting a high propensity for reckless driving, as identified by the Korean DBQ, tend to drive at higher speeds and display more aggressive acceleration patterns. These findings contribute to a potential method for assessing reckless driving drivers.

  • 본 논문은 감정 교류를 위한 목적으로 가상 캐릭터에서 사용되기 시작하여 현재 로봇에 이르기까지 그 이용 범위를 넓혀가고 있는 스토리텔링이 사용자 친밀성에 미치는 영향과 사용자가 어떻게 엔터테인먼트 로봇과 친밀성을 형성해나가는지, 또 친밀성 요소들은 다양한 스토리텔링에서 서로 어떤 관련성을 가지고 친밀성 형성에 영향을 주는지를 연구 목적으로 삼고 있다. 이를 위해 스토리텔링과 관련된 대화가 가능한 지능형 엔터테인먼트 로봇에 대한 연구를 우선적으로 알아보았으며, 이를 토대로 엔터테인먼트 로봇 중 하나인 애완용 로봇, 아이보(AIBO)가 지니고 있는 스토리텔링을 통해 사용자와 로봇 간 친밀성 형성 및 스토리텔링을 바탕으로 한 친밀성 요소간의 관련성을 알아보았다. 참가자 15명의 설문조사를 바탕으로 실시한 상관관계분석을 통해 사용자와 아이보(AIBO)가 정서적, 오락적, 행동적, 상호공유성에서 인지적, 사회적 친밀성보다 상대적으로 강한 친밀성을 형성하고 있다는 것과 Alexis K. Walker 와 Linda Thompson(1983)을 기본으로 대인관계 측면에서 친밀성에 대해 접근한 이경희(1998), 김혜정(2001), 김미라(2001), 이금남(2001), 송상홍(2004)의 선행 연구를 참조로 분류된 6가지 차원의 친밀성 구성 요소들은 스토리텔링의 형식에 따라 서로 다른 관계성을 형성하고 있다는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문은 아이보(AIBO)에 쓰이는 스토리텔링이 친밀성 형성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 또 스토리텔링의 차원에 따라 다르게 반응을 보이는 친밀성 요소들이 서로 어떤 관련성을 맺고 있는지를 살펴본 것에 의의를 둘 수 있다. 스토리텔링에 따라 관련성 정도를 달리하는 친밀성 요소들의 관계를 바탕으로 친밀성 형성에 유용한 스토리텔링의 방향을 제시하는데 의의가 있다.

Relationship between Young Women's Reproductive Health Knowledge, Attitude and Self-efficacy in Luwero District, Uganda (우간다 루웨로 지역 젊은 여성의 성생식보건 지식, 태도 및 자기효능감 간의 관련성)

  • This study explored the link between reproductive health knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy in young women from Uganda's Luwero district. A survey was conducted on 82 women in the Luwero region from May to July 2016, and the predictive power of knowledge and attitudes toward self-efficacy was evaluated through multiple linear regression analysis. Results showed positive correlations among these factors, with knowledge and attitude predicting self-efficacy. Specifically, understanding healthy puberty habits and valuing women's roles positively influenced self-efficacy for healthy behaviors. These findings emphasize the need to target these aspects in reproductive health education programs, crucial for addressing adolescent pregnancy and related issues in Uganda's rural areas.

Psychological Essentialism and Category Representation (심리적 본질주의와 범주표상)

  • Psychological essentialism states that people believe some categories to have hidden and defining essential features which cause other features of the category (Gelman, 2003; Hirschfeld, 1996; Medin & Ortony, 1989). Essentialist belief on categories questions the Roschian argument (Rosch, 1973, 1978) that categories merely consist of clusters of correlated features. Unlike family resemblance categories, essentialized categories are likely to have clear between-category boundaries and high within-category coherence (Gelman, 2003; Prentice & Miller, 2007). Two experiments were conducted to test the effects of essentialist belief on category representation (i.e., between-category boundary, within-category coherence). Participants learned family resemblance and essentialized categories in their assigned conditions and then performed categorization task (Expt. 1) and frequency estimation task of category exemplars (Expt. 2). The results showed, in essentialized categories, both boundary intensification and greater category coherence. Theses results are likely to have arisen due to increased cue and category validity in essentialized categories and suggest that essentialist belief influences macroscopic representation of category structure.
