Derivations of Positive Pressure Condition for Development of Foldable Safe Pathway in Railway Tunnel Fires (철도터널화재용 접이식 대피통로 개발을 위한 양압 조건 도출)

  • The Korea Foldable safe pathway system is an evacuation support system to get temporary evacuation route in railway tunnel and large space fires. A prevention smoke screen is unfolded in fires and it is needed to prevent heat and smoke from fire source. Therefore, ventilation system for positive pressure condition is equipped with foldable safe pathway system. Numerical analyses of temperature and pressure distribution with distance from fire source were performed considering fire scenario of new train vehicle. The smoke temperatures did not exceed $200^{\circ}C$ that distance from the fire source was more than 20 m and smoke pressure was reduced with distance from fire source. Maximum smoke pressure was 14 Pa and average pressure was 6 Pa in position of prevention smoke screen. As results, to install foldable safe pathway system, ventilation system is need to maintain 6 Pa positive pressure condition.

  • 도시폐기물의 효율적인 소각 처리를 위해서 폐기물 처리량 50 ton/day의 화격자 소각로를 대상으로 화학반응을 고려하여 연소실 내부의 열유동 현상을 전산모사하였다. 수치해석 프로그램으로 상용코드인 PHOENICS를 사용하여 3차원 모사를 하여 실험으로 파악할 수 없는 연소실 내부의 유동 및 폐기물과 산화제와의 반응을 계산하였다. 건조부, 주연소부, 후연소부에 1차연소용공기, 연료의 분포 및 폐기물의 발열량이 노내 열유동 현상에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 1차연소용 공기의 분포에 따라 노내 유동장의 형태에 변화가 있었으며, 벽면에서의 복사열전달을 고려한 경우 2차연소실과 출구근처에서 온도분포가 파일롯트 플랜트 실험결과와 잘 일치하는 r서으로 나타났다.

  • All styles began to coexist by recognizing diversity and changeability instead of an absolute value system of beauty or truth in the general culture field of modern society. In other words, the characteristic of deconstructism, which breaks down the boundary between order, balance, style and genre within the texture, is brought out. This characteristic is also having an effect on the field of up style in a hair genre to secure the beauty of incompletion as the beauty of the present time, involving the beauty of ugliness in the boundary of beauty. This study aims at presenting new vision by applying deconstuctism to the up style to express as an original and experimental formative art with various expressive methods. In addition, it aims at being perfect for presenting the creativity and artistry through expressive techniques by formative factor of deconstructive up style to find new methods and directions to design concept with main expressive ability of deconstructive up style.

Characteristics of différance image in contemporary men's fashion (현대 남성 패션에 나타난 해체주의 '차연'적 표현 특성)

  • This study is aimed at applying the philosophical concept of "$diff{\acute{e}}rance$" to contemporary men's fashion design, which could effectively show the shift in thinking. For the study method, the author examined the theoretical background of deconstruction and prepared the standard of analysis by organizing the concept of "$diff{\acute{e}}rance$," which exists at the center of philosophy. This study selected the three most popular brands: Maison Margiela, Comme des Garcons, and Yohji Yamamoto. The results are as follows. First, there is expression of perpetual reservation emphasizing time. This includes texture, patchworks, hems with ladder, and exposure of seam that expresses the trace of time flow and delayed delivery of immediate meaning, and the expression creates delay between major and minor and leads to consistent role exchange. Second, the trace of blank that emphasizes the space gives a visual sense of weight on spares with the intentionally granted space, as well as the space that is the trace of trace and creates a sense of depth through the direction of empty space. Third, the space created in the process of wearing cloth is visualized, the structure of clothing is deconstructed, and the movement from the process recomposes the shape of space and expands the definition that enables expansion of time and space. Fourth, the undetermined relationship expresses the border of time and space visually and deconstructs time and space. The approaches are mostly constructive, demonstrating an avant-garde form of clothes-wearing to show the non-form or imbalance condition.

Simulation study of smoke spread prevention using air curtain system in rescue station platform of undersea tunnel (해저터널 구난역 플랫폼 화재연기확산 방지를 위한 에어커튼 시스템 차연성능 시뮬레이션 연구)

  • This study introduce that we studied optimization and possibility of smoke spread prevention with air-curtain system in undersea tunnel named from Ho-Nam to Jeju line in domestic if a fire break out in train. To verify performance, air-curtain system is installed between rescue station platform and each door of passenger car to provide safety route to evacuator and we studied simulation model of various cases about 15 MW fire severity considering domestic specifications. As a result we verified the fact that CASE1(air jet with 15degree toward passenger car) and CASE 5 (air jet with 15degree toward passenger car and pressure air blast from cross passage) is best Smoke Spread Prevention and less inflow carbon monoxide. Through above results, we expect that air-curtain system is one of the facilities for fire safety and provide us safety platform route in undersea tunnel.

A Study on the Deconstruction Characteristics of Traditional Space Analyzed by Aesthetic Idea of Lao-tzu (노자의 미학적 관점으로 본 전통공간의 해체적 특성 연구)

  • This paper has tried to analyze the characteristics of space in Korean traditional architecture by deconstructive concept through connecting Lao-tzu's theory, the main discourse of East and West, with Derrida's deconstructionism theory. Derrida's philosophical term of differance(diff$\acute{e}$rance) is similar to Tao of Lao-tzu. It is because Derrida emphasized the relationships with others by trying the strategy of overcoming dichotomous thinking by this term. Tao of Lao-tzu also has the relative characteristics that cannot be concluded by one sole meaning. Like this, Derrida and Lao-tzu are against traditional and dichotomous way of thinking. In this point of view, this study has set Derrida's deconstruction theory and Lao-tzu's thinking as the common viewpoint of this world. And through the phrase of Tao Te Ching which means deconstructive Tao, deconstructive space design vocabulary was derived as mixed no-boundary, shape of no-shape, transcendence of time and space. The deconstructive characteristics of traditional space by case study analysis of Lao-tzu's deconstructive space design are as follows: First, it is not a specific or detailed shape but an unlimited possibility that can be transformed into something else, moving and changing endlessly and has a borderless beauty. Second, it is nothing itself but creates various shapes, as if it exists without shape. Third, it is a relative and unlimited space and pursuits a free form as a non-conceptional shape without any system or value.

  • It was early in the $20^{th}$ century when the space was begun to say through the mutual circumstances of form and contents. Adrian Forty explained that the characteristics of space can be divided into three steps by the period: a space of enclosure, a space as continuum and a space as an extension of the body. And there is common condition that all three spaces are accompanied by the form. In the new thinking of architectural form in terms of text in modern society, architecture becomes to more complex to understanding. Saying that there is nothing outside text (Il n'y a rien en dehors du text.) in the world, Jacques Derrida insisted the world to be texted and not to be special centrality, where can be existed by difference and delay its meaning. Text is the structural meaning (sign), not a metaphorical one (symbol). Without the symbol, the architecture can be recognized as text with signing to the form. For that, there is a question how can be explained the space in terms of text extracting the meaning and the symbol. Absolutely not intended by Mies van der Rohe, but in his works of houses and pavilion, its characteristics and traces of text can be seen. If it is possible to analyse his works in the textual view, space of Mies will be found in the same direction of text. And it will be an important opportunity to re-evaluate the space of Mies works standing in the heart of Modern Architecture.

  • 현대사회에서 화재에 의한 물적 피해는 물론 인적피해가 현저하게 증가하고 있으며 희생자의 사망원인이 종래에는 화재시 발생한 열에 의한 화상을 중심으로 하는 소사였지만, 최근에는 화염보다 독성가스로 인하여 사망하는 경우가 많아졌고, 희생자는 거의 화상을 확인할 수 없거나 화상자이더라도 혈액 중에서 일산화탄소를 중심으로 한 유독가스가 확인되기 때문에 이들 유독가스의 흡입으로 인하여 행동불능상태 이후 열의 영향으로 사망한 것으로 추정되는 사례가 증가하는 추세이다. 따라서 대규모 건축물에 있어서는 화재발생시 유독가스가 건물 전체로 연소 확대되는 것을 방지하기 위하여 넓은 면적을 일정한 면적으로 구획하거나 계단실 등과 다른 부분 또는 층별 등으로 구획하고 있으며, 국내의 방화구획은 크게 다른 층으로 화재전파를 막기 위한 층간 방화구획, 연소면적을 제한하기 위한 면적별 방화구획, 다른 용도로 인한 화재 위험성 감소를 위해 용도별 방화구획으로 3가지를 법에서 채택하고 있다. 방화구획은 방화문 또는 자동방화셔터를 이용하거나, 내부구조의 바닥, 벽, 각종 방화문으로 구획할 것을 정하고 있다.(피난방화규칙 제14조) 본 연구에서는 철제방화셔터 대체용으로 직물방화셔터용의 실리카 소재를 이용하여 제직한 직물에 내열/차연 기능성 코팅의 공정 조건을 변화하여 최종 방화시험을 거치기 전 내열성 테스트중 하나인 불꽃열 통과량 실험을 실행하여 방화 직물의 내열성을 비교 분석하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 고내열/차연성 방화 제품 기술을 개발하는데 필요한 연구를 수행하는데 목적이 있다.

The Deconstruction Trend Expressed in the Works of Jean Paul Gaultier - Focused on Designs from 2001 to 2006 - (장 폴 골티에(Jean Paul Gaultier)의 작품에 표현된 해체주의 경향 - $2001\sim2006$년을 중심으로 -)

  • This paper examines the works produced from 2000, the first year of the new millenium, to the late 2006 with a focus on those of Jean Paul Gaultier, a representative designer of deconstruction, in an effort to determine the aesthetic characters of deconstructional fashion. In this context, this paper deals with the theoretical study on the concepts and features of deconstruction as a part of analysis into its fashion using the works of Gaultier as a major source viewed to typically demonstrate the deconstructional characters of fashion. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to 155 works of Gaultier featured from 2001 to 2006 mostly in Vogue, the popular and influencing magazine of the USA(39 pieces in 2001, 30 in 2002, 29 in 2003, 23 in 2004, 12 in 2005 and 22 in 2006, respectively). In particular, 106 fashion pictures were put to analysis as they seemed to represent deconstruction intensively. The deconstructional characters of his works were examined in the categories of difference, inter-meaning, inter-textuality and decomposition on the basis of preceding studies, which resulted in the following outcomes: First, difference was found in 38 works out of 106 images, accounting for 36%, the biggest frequency; Second, inter-meaning accounted for 33% with 35 pieces, most frequently next to difference; Third, inter-textuality followed inter-meaning with 17 images or 15% in terms of frequency; Fourth, decomposition was revealed in 16 images in the same ratio of 15% as inter-textuality.
