  • Virtual reality(VR) is both one of the high-technology and main paradime in leading next genaration of 21th century. It's application spectrum is various and lead to numorous revolotion as well as transition in technical aspect. These change is a good procept of it's value and influence effect in global fields of human life. In this paper, a development method of virtual reality simulation system is presented, which is based in the shape research about VR.

A Study of a Composite Sensor and Control Network and Its Test-bed for the Intelligent and Digital Home (지능형 디지탈홈을 위한 콤퍼짓 센서제어네트워크 및 테스트베드의 연구)

  • Advances in technologies of networking, chip integration, and embedded system have enabled sensor networks applicable to a wide range of areas. Sharing some common characteristics, sensor networks are thus diversified in features depending on their applications. An intelligent and digital home can be one area to establish a particular feature of sensor network. This paper proposes a composite sensor and control network, and discusses its applying to the next generation intelligent and digital home. Development results of the network and a test-bed as a virtual test environment are also presented. The proposed network can not only be efficiently applying to achieve new home intelligences but also provide a sound solution to maintenance and operations of home network or devices.

  • Damages by malware have recently been increasing. Conventional signature-based antivirus solutions are helplessly vulnerable to unprecedented new threats such as Zero-day attack and ransomware. Despite that, many enterprises have retained signature-based antivirus solutions as part of the multiple endpoints security strategy. They do recognize the problem. This paper proposes a solution using the blockchain and deep learning technologies as the next-generation antivirus solution. It uses the antivirus software that updates through an existing DB server to supplement the detection unit and organizes the blockchain instead of the DB for deep learning using various samples and forms to increase the detection rate of new malware and falsified malware.

  • 폐쇄적 무선망 및 단말 플랫폼의 개방화 추세에 따라 이동통신사업자(MNO)는 자사 고객 retention 및 신규 수익창출을 위해 다양한 전략을 수립하고 있다. 그리고 고객은 이러한 개방 환경에서 이동통신사업자(MNO)의 단말 및 망에 구애받지 않고 자신의 개인정보 및 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 서비스를 편리하게 이용하기를 원하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 와이브로(WiBro)가입자 인증을 위해 단말에 필수 탑재되는 UICC 에 웹 기능 및 대용량 메모리 기술을 추가하여 이를 기반으로 개인화 서비스 제공을 위한 인프라 구축 사례를 살펴본다. 먼저, UICC 기반 개인화 서비스 인프라를 구성하는 UICC 및 단말에서 구현되어야 할 SCWS 및 대용량 메모리 처리 기술을 소개하고 이를 위한 기술 요구사항을 정의한다. 그리고, 해당 UICC 및 단말을 원격에서 관리하기 위해 플랫폼에서 구현하여야 할 제어 프로토콜 기술을 살펴보고, 이를 위한 기술 요구사항을 정의한다. 다음으로 최종적으로 구축된 전체 시스템의 구성 및 서비스 흐름을 기술하고, 끝으로 이러한 인프라를 통하여 제공될 수 있는 개인화 서비스를 소개하고 향후 방향을 소개함으로써 글을 맺는다.

  • 최근, 우리 군에서는 무선을 기반으로 하는 차세대 전술통신 체계인 전술 종합 정보 통신 체계 (TICN: Tactical Information Communication Network) 구축 사업을 진행하고 있다. 이 시스템의 백본 역할을 수행하는 TICN 전달망에서의 라우팅 알고리즘은 기존 인터넷에서 사용 중인 표준 라우팅 알고리즘과는 다른 특성이 요구된다. 즉 무선전송 링크의 특성 및 재밍 등의 영향으로 링크 상태가 불안정한 상황에서도 생존성과 안정성이 요구되는 군 전술망 환경에 적합하여야 하며, TICN 전달망의 자원 효율성도 최대화할 수 있어야 한다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 기존의 인터넷 표준 라우팅 프로토콜들 중에서 네트워크 상태변화에 신속하게 대처할 수 있으며, 이미 널리 사용되고 있는 OSPF 프로토콜을 TICN 전달망에 적합한 라우팅 프로토콜이 되도록 수정하고자 한다. 이를 위해 라우팅 프로토콜의 대상 네트워크가 유선망에서 무선 전술 백본망으로 변경됨에 따라 튜닝될 필요가 있는 프로토콜 파라미터들을 추출하고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 추출한 파라미터들의 값들을 튜닝 하고자 한다.

Proactive Network Optimizer for Critical Applications (크리티컬한 응용을 위한 능동형 네트워크 최적화기)

  • Recently, wireless networks are becoming an important infrastructure for the critical large-scale applications such as cyber-physical systems and next generation industrial automations. However, the fundamental performance uncertainty of wireless networks may incur the serious instability problem of the overall systems. This paper proposes the proactive network optimizer to guarantee the application demands without any real-time link monitoring information of the networks. In particularly, the proposed proactive optimizer is the cross-layer approach to jointly optimize the routing path and traffic distribution in order to guarantee the performance demand within a maximum k number of link faults. Through the simulations, the proposed proactive network optimizer provides better robustness than the traditional existing reactive networks. Furthermore, the proactive network does not expose to the major weakness of the reactive networks such as the performance degradation due to the erroneous link monitoring information and the network reconfiguration cost.

  • RFID technology is considered as a promising solution to increase efficiency of port logistics. Especially active RFID technology, such as e-Seal for container security, is receiving attention nowadays. If active RFID system is combined with passive RFID and legacy bar-code system overall efficiency of port logistics can be improved However, due to the device dependent control interface of RFID readers, there are many difficulties in making active-passive combined RFID system environment. In this paper, we introduce Smart Reader Interface (SRI) system, which provides a device independent RFID reader interrace to control different kinds of RFID readers by hiding device dependent control interface through adapter architecture which is similar to device driver of conventional operating systems. The key design objectives of SRI are the followings; conformance to the related standard. efficiency in processing, easy addition of an adapter for a new RFID reader. Actually, the implemented SRI system can support various kinds of commercial RFID readers, and through the test carried out not only in laboratory but also in the container terminal in the GwangYang Port, its practicality is verified.

  • This paper presented the implementation and design of the 2T-2R wireless HD video streaming systems over 1.7 GHz frequency band using 3GPP LTE-TDD standard on NI USRP RIO SDR platform. The baseband of the system used USRP RIO that are stored in Xilinx Kintex-7 chip to implement LTE-TDD transceiver modem, the signal that are transmitted from USRP RIO up or down converts to 1.7 GHz by using self-designed 1.7 GHz RF transceiver modules and it is finally communicated HD video data through self-designed 2x9 sub array antennas. It is that communication method between USRP RIO and Host PC use PCI express x4 to minimize delay of data to transmit and receive. The implemented system show high error vector magnitude performance above 32 dBc and to transmit and receive HD video in experiment environment anywhere. The proposed hybrid beam forming system could be used not only in the future 5G mobile communication systems under 6 GHz frequency band but also in the systems over 6 GHz frequency band like ones in mmWave frequency bands.

  • Handling mixed workload in digital set-top box or streaming server becomes an important issue as integrated file system gets momentum as the choice for the next generation file system. The next generation file system is required to handle real-time audio/video playback while being able to handle text requests such as web page, image file, etc. Legacy file system provides only best effort I/O service and thus cannot properly support the QoS of soft real-time I/O. In this paper, we would like to present our experience in developing the file system which fan guarantee the QoS of multimedia stream. We classify all application I/O requests into two category: periodic I/O and sporadic I/O. The QoS requirement of multimedia stream could be guaranteed by giving a higher priority to periodic requests than sporadic requests. The proto-type file system(Qosfs) is developed on Linux Operating System.

  • We propose a correction security framework as next generation security technology to provide secure and reliable Internet services. The framework guarantees durability of the services in spite of external attack, intrusion, vulnerability for fault tolerance, and network management technology that covers the set of techniques aimed at providing rapid service recovery. The improvement technology includes system itself improvement and synamic improvement preventing faults from being re-activated, in cooperation with other systems such as vulnerability anaysis system, NMS, ESM. It is expected that our framework will be applied to global networks as well as system alone, and be able to guarantee the network survivability and reliable Internet services.
