The Parameter Analysis effecting on the Fatigue Life of Rail on High Speed Railway (고속철도 레일의 피로수명에 영향을 미치는 매개변수분석)

  • In a domestic, HSR-350x which has the maximum speed 350km/h was developed and then next, the next generation high speed train which has the maximum speed 400km/h has still been developing. With developing the next generation high speed railway, there need to be a general plan to make sure of dynamic safety though the a study on the crack and failure of rail by rolling contact fatigue. Therefore, this study investigated occurring stress of rail according to the track quality, train velocity, wheel radius, track stiffness, distance between sleepers, axial force using Eisenmann's equations. For the more, via the finite element method, it investigated shear force on the rail head which could be changed by the early crack length, angle and temperature. As a result, this study confirmed the main elements which effect on the fatigue life cycle of rail.

  • In this paper, we propose a synthesis method of software fault tree from software requirements specification written in NuSCR formal specification language. The software fault tree, proposed in this paper, reflects requirements on both structure and behavior and it is an integrated form. The software fault tree can be used for analyzing safety in the view of structure and behavior. We propose templates for each components in NuSCR specification language and a synthesis method of software fault tree using the templates. The research was applied into the main trip logic of the reactor protection system of ARP1400, the Korean next generation nuclear reactor system, developed by KNICS. And we evaluate feasibility of our approach through this case study.

SAD : Web Session Anomaly Detection based on Bayesian Estimation (베이지언 추정을 이용한 웹 서비스 공격 탐지)

  • As Web services are generally open for external uses and not filtered by Firewall, these result in attacker's target. Web attacks which exploit vulnerable web-applications and malicious users' requests cause economical and social problems. In this paper, we are modelling general web service usages based on user-web-session and detect anomal usages with Bayesian estimation method. Finally we propose SAD(Session Anomaly Detection) for detection unknown web attacks. To evaluate SAD, we made an experiment on attack simulation with web vulnerability scanner, whisker. The results show that the detection rate of SAD is over 90%, which is influenced by several features such as size of window or training set, detection filter method and web topology.

  • Seongdeokdaewang-Shinjong, the 29th National Treasure, is highly valuable as a study material in various aspects including the histories of ideology, Buddhism, politics, art-craft, Chinese character study, calligraphy, epigraphy and so on of the mid-time of Shinra. Compared with the people's interest in the Shinjong, however, the studies on the words carved on it have not been yet deepened. Such studies have not been yet overcoming the phase of decoding and translation of the words. Today, it is required to analyze and study the words systematically. This article starts with such critical mind. That is why the subtitle of this article is Research on the Background of Thoughts considering that this study must be followed by its 2nd study. This study has totally reviewed the decoding and annotation works that have been done so far. Byeonryeomun (騈儷文: a writing style of Chinese character) has been also studied on its written patterns. As a result, approximately 20 problems have been found and corrected. Especially, such key phrases as '工匠?模' and '日月?暉' have been translated in a new way to spotlight the importance of translation of the carved words. The words carved on the Shinjong are highly valuable to study in the aspect of ideology history. The words fully show not only Buddhist thoughts, Confucian thoughts and Taoist thoughts but also Korea's own unique thoughts, which are all melted in the words without any obstacle to each other. In general, they are highly philosophical words. The words are unique especially in the aspect: They give a meaning to the Shinjong based on the keyword Won-Gong (圓空: circle and empty) and suggest the key point of Buddhist thoughts and governing philosophy altogether. That is, they imply that King Seongdeok's political ideology and governing principle are connected to Pungryudo (風流道), Korea's own unique philosophy. This implication is key evidence that makes it possible to trace the context of transmission of Pungryudo. You should not miss also the phrases implying that there was a big argument between reform group based on Confucian thoughts and conservative group based on Korea's own unique thoughts.

The Fatigue Life Evaluation of CWR based on the Rail Grinding (레일연마를 고려한 장대레일의 피로수명 평가)

  • In this study, vehicle/track interaction analysis by the Saemaul powered vehicle was carried out. The prediction equation for the bending stress of rail was estimated using the rail bending stress by the rail surface irregularities at welds. Also, the fatigue analysis using a S-N curve of welds in the conventional railway was carried out. We estimated the fatigue life of CWR by the fracture probability. By the rail grinding, the fatigue life of CWR was evaluated in consideration to reduce the rail bending stress through removing the rail surface irregularities. Therefore, it presented the fatigue life of CWR according to the rail grinding execution plan in the conventional railway.

It analyzed the internal stress of rail according to the track quality, train velocity, wheel radius, track stiffness, sleeper space, wheel load. For the more, via the finite element method, it analyzed shear force on the rail head which could be changed by the early length of crack, angle of crack and temperature. As a result, this study continued the main parameter effecting on the fatigue life of rail.

  • 환경오염과 차량 성능향상에 따라서 날로 강화되는 연비규제는 차량용 변속기로서 CVT 양상 보급에 대한 필요를 앞당기고 있다. CVT는 소형차를 중심으로 일부 자동차 에이커에 의해 이미 실용화되어 있으며 일본 및 구미 자동차 각 사는 CVT에 대한 자체기술을 보유하고 경쟁성 있 는 완성품 개발을 위하여 총력을 기울이고 있는 실정이다. CVT에 대한 연구개발의 추세는 동 력전달 구동요소의 특성에 따라 벨트식과 토로이달 (Torodial)식으로 구분할 수 있으며 대부분의 경우 현재 일부 실용화 개발된 벨트식 CVT가 기술완성도가 높은 반면 토로이달롤러의 각도를 연속적으로 변환시킴으로써 무단변속을 이루는 토로이달 방식은 2000년대 이후에 양산을 목표로 일본 및 영국 등에서 개발 진행주이나 새로운 재질과 제어기술개발 등의 숙제를 안고 있다. 벨 트식의 경우 금속벨트는 지난 십 수년이상 시행착오를 겪으며 CVT용으로 개발된 전문업체의 제품이 이미 특허화되어 있기 때문에 자동차 각사는 벨트와 같은 구동요소보다는 CVT 메카니즘 설계 및 제어시스템 개발에 기술력을 투입하고 있다. 따라서 국내 CVT 개발도 이와 같은 추세를 따를 것으로 기대되고 있으나 AT와 같은 완성품으로서의 상품가치를 갖기 위하여는 CVT에 대한 보다 많은 연구개발이 필요하다고 생각된다.

RIE/WET Texturing 구조의 다결정 태양전지의 특성평가

  • 태양광 발전은 발전 셀의 특성상 태양광의 일사량, 태양과 셀 단면이 이루는 각도에 따라서 발전량의 차이를 가져온다. 실리콘 태양전지의 전면 texturing은 입사광의 반사율을 크게 감소시키고, 태양전지 내에서 빛의 통과길이를 증가시켜 태양전지 내의 흡수하는 빛의 양을 증가 시키는 역할을 한다. 따라서 전면 texturing은 단락전류를 증대시키는 효과를 가지고 온다. 일반적으로 texturing은 alkaline etching (WET) 공정과 reactive ion etching (RIE) 공정이 사용된다. 그리고 다결정 실리콘 태양전지의 경우에는 재료의 결정방향에 따라 식각이 되어지는 WET 공정의 경우 texturing 모양을 제어할 수 없어 효과적이지 못하는 결과를 가지고 온다. 본 연구에서는 Electroluminescence을 측정하여 RIE, WET 공정을 사용하여 만든 texturing 구조의 다결정 태양전지의 Microcrack 및 Defect, Electrode Failure, Hot spot등을 검출하였으며, ${\mu}$-PCD 측정 결과와 비교 분석하여 Micro carrier life time을 유추하여 계산하였다. 또한 반사율을 측정해본 결과 WET 공정 대비 RIE의 경우 단파장영역에서 반사율이 크게 감소하여, 상대적으로 높은 External quantum efficiency (EQE)가 측정되었다. 이는 Jsc를 증가시켜, 태양전지의 효율이 증가되는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

(Restrictions and translation rules of ANSI-C language for analyzing integrity of C program using SPARK Examiner) (SPARK Examiner를 이용해 ANSI-C프로그램의 안전성을 분석하기 위한 C언어의 제약 조건과 변환 방법)

  • The C language is widely adopted for safety-critical systems. However, it is known that the C language is an unsuitable choice for safety-critical system since the C language includes several bad language features such as heavy use of pointers. The aim of this work is to define safe subset of the C language and translate the subset into the SPARK Ada so that we can verify the program's safety using SPARK analysis tools. SPARK is a safe subset of Ada and has been successfully applied to high integrity system development. The C program translated into SPARK has the same integrity level as SPARK, and the program correctness can be verified by using Examiner which is a SPARK analysis tool. An elevator controller case study is presented and is used to demonstrate the potential use of our approach to implement a realistic system. We also developed a translator that automatically translates C code into SPARK in accordance with the translation rules.

Systematic Evaluation of Fault Trees using Real-Time Model Checker (실시간 모델 체커를 이용한 풀트 트리의 체계적 검증)

  • Fault tree analysis is the most widely used saftly analysis technique in industry. However, the analysis is often applied manually, and there is no systematic and automated approach available to validate the analysis result. In this paper, we demonstrate that a real-time model checker UPPAAL is useful in formally specifying the required behavior of safety-critical software and to validate the accuracy of manually constructed fault trees. Functional requirements for emergency shutdown software for a nuclear power plant, named Wolsung SDS2, are used as an example. Fault trees were initially developed by a group of graduate students who possess detailed knowledge of Wolsung SDS2 and are familiar with safety analysis techniques including fault tree analysis. Functional requirements were manually translated in timed automata format accepted by UPPAAL, and the model checking was applied using property specifications to evaluate the correctness of the fault trees. Our application demonstrated that UPPAAL was able to detect subtle flaws or ambiguities present in fault trees. Therefore, we conclude that the proposed approach is useful in augmenting fault tree analysis.
