A Study on the Fire Safety of a Hybrid Composite Train Carbody (하이브리드 복합재 철도차량 차체의 화재 안전성 평가연구)

  • This paper explains fire safety tests of a hybrid composite train carbody with carbon/epoxy sandwich bodyshell and stainless steel underframe. In this study, a large scale mock-up was used to evaluate the fire safety of the composite train carbody. The test was conducted to the bare composite carbody mock-up without interior facilities and the fully equipped one. Tile fire propagation and temperature distribution of the carbon/epoxy bodyshell and the glass phenol interior panels was evaluated under the real fire accident scenario. The test scenario was based on the DaeGu subway fire accident. From the tests, both the surface temperature of the interiors and the composite bodyshell wore lower than tile ignition temperature. In addition, the fire spread along the surface of the interiors and bodyshell was not occurred.

  • VANET은 차량 이동 간 안전성 증가와 관련 응용정보를 처리하기 위해 고안된 ad-hoc 통신기반의 무선 네트워크 기술이다. VANET 환경을 이용하면 도로 교통 통제, 날씨 정보, 인터넷 등 다양한 서비스가 가능하다. VANET 환경을 위해서는 효과적인 노드간의 라우팅 프로토콜 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 VANET상에서 각 차량의 정보를 이용하여 차량 간 안정적인 통신을 위한 그룹화 라우팅 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법을 통해 그룹화를 통한 라우팅 기법이 VANET 환경에 더 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • The facilities using LP gas in camping vehicles, which are exposed to safety problems due to the proliferation of domestic leisure culture, are not subject to statutory inspection so, effective safety management measures are needed because the subject or method of safety management is ambiguous. In this study, we tried to propose the safety management measures through the deduction of representative types of camping vehicles, research on the actual condition of LPG facilities in camping vehicles and investigation and review of relevant regulations. Through the results of this study, we expect to contribute to the improvement of the safety management efficiency and safety of facilities using LP gas in domestic camping vehicles.

  • Traffic accidents can be defined as a physical collision event of vehicles occurred instantaneously when drivers do not perceive the surrounding vehicles and roadway environments properly. Therefore, detecting the high potential events that cause traffic accidents with monitoring the interactions among the surroundings continuously by driver is the prerequisite for prevention the traffic accidents. For the analysis, basic data were collected to analyze interactions using a test vehicle which is equipped the GPS(Global Positioning System)-IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit), camera, radar and RiDAR. From the collected data, highway geometric information and the surrounding traffic situation were analyzed and then safety evaluation algorithm for driving vehicle was developed. In order to detect a dangerous event of interaction with surrounding vehicles, locations and speed data of surrounding vehicles acquired from the radar sensor were used. Using the collected data, the tangent and curve section were divided and the driving safety evaluation algorithm which is considered the highway geometric characteristic were developed. This study also proposed an algorithm that can assess the possibility of collision against surrounding vehicles considering the characteristics of geometric road structure. The methodology proposed in this study is expected to be utilized in the fields of autonomous vehicles in the future since this methodology can assess the driving safety using collectible data from vehicle's sensors.

  • This paper describes the evaluation of structural integrity and dynamic characteristic of inertial load test equipments for performance test of railway vehicle propulsion control system. The propulsion control system of railway vehicle has to be confirmed of safety and reliability prior to its application. Therefore, inertial load test equipments were designed through theoretical equation for performance test of propulsion control system. The structural analysis of inertial load test equipments was conducted using Ansys v11.0 and the dynamic characteristic was evaluated using Adams. The results showed that the structural integrity of inertial load test equipment was satisfied with a safety factor of 10.2 on the bearing part under combined load. Also, the structural stability of flywheel according to dynamic simulation was secured by the maximum oscillation displacement within 0.83mm.

  • In this paper, the feasibility of a wheelchair carrier for the disabled own driver is checked kinematically to fit one of current domestic vans by drawings, design. A van with 9 passengers is selected for the modification to attach the wheelchair carrier and test the operation in real situation. The trajectory and motion process are studied to protect from the interception with outside body of van, and the conceptual design is proceeded kinematically. For the detail design, the stress analysis and driving mechanism with power supply must be studied and selected basically.

  • 최근 철도차량은 안전성과 신뢰성 향상을 위해 점차 복잡하게 설계 제작되고, 품질에 대한 기대와 요구수준이 점차 높아짐에 따라 운영기관에서는 과학적이고 체계적인 예방 정비를 통한 안전성과 가용성 향상을 위해 노력하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 여러 방안들이 연구되고 있으며, 대표적으로 신뢰성 기반 유지보수(RCM; Reliability Centered Maintenance)가 철도분야에 지속적으로 도입되고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 예방정비 기술로 대두되고 있는 RCM의 기본이론에 대한 고찰과 RCM의 일반적 실시 절차를 소개하고, RCM의 국제규격인 IEC 60300-3-11, NAVAIR 00-25-403, MIL-STD-2173을 비교 분석하여 이를 바탕으로 철도차량에 RCM 도입 시 효과적이고 적합한 절차 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 최근 차량용 블랙박스의 저장된 데이터의 안전성에 대한 관심도가 높아지고 있다. 현재의 차량용 블랙박스는 영상녹화 및 저장을 위해 보통 플래시 메모리를 삽입하여 사용하는데 이는 메모리의 분실 또는 데이터 파손 등 데이터 보관성에 문제를 일으킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 차량용 블랙박스의 데이터 안전성을 높이고자 클라우드 컴퓨팅 개념을 도입하여 사고발생 시 중요한 데이터를 서버에 최대한 업로드하고 이를 이용해 제 3자에게 영상 데이터를 제공하거나 사고를 통보 할 수 있는 기능을 가진 블랙박스 시스템을 안드로이드 OS에서 구현하고자 한다.

  • 텔레매틱스(Telematics)는 자동차와 컴퓨터.이동통신 등 다수의 이종기술의 결합을 의미한다. 텔레매틱스는 또한 유, 무선통신망 등을 통해서 운전자가 정보를 교환하여 운전자 및 차량의 안전 및 편의성을 향상시킬 수 있는 장치 및 서비스를 통칭한다. 휴대용 개인 단말기와 달리 차량에 장착되는 텔레매틱스 단말기는 차량 정보 네트워크에 연결되어 주행 안전이 가장 우선 되어야 하고 부가적인 운전자 정보 서비스가 이루어 져야 한다. 이제까지 제안 또는 적용 되고 있는 기술을 중심으로 텔레매틱스 기술 동향을 요약하였다. 주행 중에 제공되는 서비스로서 텔레매틱스는 안전 관련 제도적 보완이 필요하고 특히 국가 차원의 공공 인프라 지원 정책이 뒷받침되어야만 하는 국가 정책 차원의 지원이 반드시 이루어 져야 한다.

  • The road safety depend on many road factors like vertical alignment, horizontal alignment and road cross section angle. These data are hardly to get with drawings, and the real data are differ from drawings because of road pavement overlay, etc. To get these data, so many time and cost are needed, moreover it is dangerous work in heavy traffic road. In this study we obtained the road safety data with RoSSAV(Road Safety Survey & Analysis Vehicle) of Korea Institute of Construction Technology in accordance with traffic flow, and make analysis of road safety with the vertical alignment, horizontal alignment and road cross section angle data. We derived the safety improvement method in Young-dong accident prone spot and described detail method in this paper.
