A Channel Allocation Method according to the required bandwidth of streams in MOST network (MOST 네트워크에서 전송 스트림의 요구 대역폭에 따른 채널 할당 방안)

  • The MOST network, which is a network for vehicle infotainment network, requires efficient channel allocation to provide multimedia service effectively. Though there is a study on channel allocation according to network traffic as studies on channel allocation for MOST network, there have scarcely been studies on channel allocation according to bandwidth of multimedia for transferring. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the channel allocation method which calculates the number of channels by analyzing multimedia data for transferring and assigns the optimal number of channels for the given data. The proposed method reduces wasting of channels by optimally allocating channels and prevents initializing network due to change of Boundary Descriptor.

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 추돌 방지 단거리 레이더용 고 변환이득 및 저전력 24GHz CMOS 믹서를 제안한다. 이러한 회로는 2볼트 전원전압에서 동작하며, 저 전압 전원 공급에서도 높은 변환 이득과 낮은 잡음지수를 가지도록 설계되어 있다. 제안한 회로는 TSMC $0.13{\mu}m$ 혼성신호/고주파 CMOS 공정($f_T/f_{MAX}=120/140GHz$)으로 설계하였다. 전체 칩 면적을 줄이기 위해 실제 수동형 인덕터 대신 전송선을 이용하였다. 제안한 회로는 최근 발표된 연구결과에 비해 가장 높은 10.96dB의 변환이득, 7.6dBm의 IIP3를 보였고, 가장 적은 5mW의 소비전력 및 $0.2{\times}0.2m^2$의 칩 크기 특성을 보였다.

Improvement of Relative Positioning Accuracy by Searching GPS Common Satellite between the Vehicles (차량 간 GPS 공통 가시위성 검색을 통한 상대위치 추정 정확도 향상에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, we present relative positioning algorithm for moving land vehicle using GPS, MEMS IMU and B-CDMA module. This algorithm does not calculate precise absolute position but calculates relative position directly, so additional infrastructure and I2V communication device are not required. Proposed algorithm has several steps. Firstly, unbiased relative position is calculated using pseudorange difference between two vehicles. Simultaneously, the algorithm estimates position of each vehicle using GPS/INS integration. Secondly, proposed algorithm performs filtering and finally estimates relative position and relative velocity. Using proposed algorithm, we can obtain more precise relative position for moving land vehicles with short time interval as IMU sensor has. The simulation is performed to evaluate this algorithm and the several field tests are performed with real time program and miniature vehicles for verifying performance of proposed algorithm.

  • 전력산업 분야에서는 전용무선망으로 TRS를 사용하고 있다 TRS(Trunked Radio System, 주파수공용통신시스템)는 전국적으로 설치되어 현장에서 작업중인 전력설비 보수원들에게 음성지령과 상호간 통신수단으로 활용되고 있고, 데이터 통신용으로는 설비에 대한 제어정보 취득과 상태정보를 감시하는 용도로 주로 사용되고 있다. 하지만 이동 환경에서 데이터통신망으로서 TRS의 활용은 음영지역 편재, 잦은 대역폭, 잦은 접속에러 등의 장애요소로 현장에서 필요한 정보를 제공할 수 있는 모바일 시스템 구축에는 어려움이 있었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 TRS를 이용하여 이동중인 전력설비 보수차량에게 작업지시서를 전송하고 그 작업결과를 다시 호스트 서버로 전송받을 수 있는 모바일 환경에서의 메시지 송수신 모델 설계결과를 기술하였다.

  • If the location information of a great number of cars kept for business with telematics terminals is acquired and managed efficiently, this information forms the foundation for controlling cars and traffic flows. The studies on the pure spatial indices have focused on the efficient retrievals. However, the acquisition and management of the terminal location of moving objects are more important than the efficiency of the query processing in the moving object databases. Therefore, it will be need to adopt parallel processing system for the moving object databases which should maintain the object's current location as precise as possible. This paper proposes a location management system using CDMA communications of telematics terminals. More precisely, we propose a architecture of spatial indexing mobile objects using multiple processors, and also newly propose a method of splitting buckets using the properties of moving objects in order to minimize the number of database updates. We also propose a acquisition method for gathering the location information of moving objects and passing the information of the bucket extents in order to reduce the amount of passed messages between processors.

TPMS Interference Suppression Based on Beamforming (Beamforming을 이용한 TPMS 간섭제거)

  • The TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is an electronic system designed to display the air pressure inside the pneumatic tires and report real-time tire-pressure information to the driver of the vehicle, either via a gange, a pictogram display, or a simple low-pressure warning light. Although the data measured by TPMS sensor is transmitted to internal signal processer in a vehicle through wireless communication, the receiver may suffers from various interferences such as amateur radio station, RFID(Radio-Frequency IDentification) for controlling container, RKE(Remote Keyless Entry) signal, and so on. In this paper, we consider beamforming technology to suppress various high-power interference signals for the TPMS wireless communications. Also, we propose the proper data structure and antenna arrangement for the beamformer inside the vehicle. The performance for the interference suppression is illustrated by computer simulation example.

Design and Trend Analysis According to the Application Field of Monopole Antenna with Sleeve Structure (슬리브 구조를 갖는 모노폴 안테나의 활용분야에 따른 설계와 동향분석)

  • This paper summarizes the data of a monopole antenna with a sleeve structure that can be applied in various ways. Sleeve monopole antennas have broadband characteristics and are used for multi-frequency applications. The sleeve monopole antenna is composed of a vertical conductor, which is a radiator, and a sleeve having the same structure as a coaxial cable. The sleeve acts as a radiator and an open stub. The length of the sleeve should be 1/3~2/3 of the total length of the antenna. A monopole antenna having a sleeve structure is applicable to a vehicle wiper antenna. In addition, the case of applying this antenna to a broadband sleeve antenna using a loading coil, a broadband printed sleeve monopole antenna for an ISM band, a gap sleeve and a double sleeve, and a UWB planar monopole antenna using half cutting was summarized and analyzed in terms of structure and broadband.

Applying GIS and GPS Based AVL System for the Logistics Information Systems (화물운송정보체계를 위한 GIS/GPS기반 AVL시스템 적용방안)

  • In this paper, essential technological elements for applying GIS and GPS based AVL system to the logistics information area were reviewed. Then system alternatives were evaluated using Life-Cycle Cost Analysis. In the basic scenario, the roadside infrastructure alternative is turned out to be more efficient that the other. The sensitivity analysis shows that under the different conditions and unit costs, the wireless communication alternative can be more economical. Mixed approach based on characteristics of transportation facilities should be considered.

  • In this paper, we proposed a register allocation algorithm and resource allocation algorithm in the high level synthesis process for the SoC design synthesis system of high performance vehicles We have analyzed to the operator characteristics and structure of datapath in the most important high-level synthesis. We also introduced the concept of virtual operator for the scheduling of multi-cycle operations. Thus, we demonstrated the complexity to implement a multi-cycle operation of the operator, regardless of the type of operation that can be applied for commonly use in the resources allocation algorithm. The algorithm assigns the functional operators so that the number of connecting signal lines which are repeatedly used between the operators would be minimum. This algorithm provides regional graphs with priority depending on connected structure when the registers are allocated. The registers with connecting structure are allocated to the maximum cluster which is generated by the minimum cluster partition algorithm. Also, it minimize the connecting structure by removing the duplicate inputs for the multiplexor in connecting structure and arranging the inputs for the multiplexor which is connected to the operators. In order to evaluate the scheduling performance of the described algorithm, we demonstrate the utility of the proposed algorithm by executing scheduling on the fifth digital wave filter, a standard bench mark model.

Design and Implementation of Parking Information Support System for Inner Parking Lot Based on Microprocessor (마이크로프로세서 기반의 실내 주차정보 제공 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Apartment complex, buildings, markets and department stores have inner parking lots which can accept many cars but drivers waste lots of times to find the empty parking spaces in crowding parking lots. In this paper, we proposed the inner parking information support system based on microprocessor which can decrease roaming times to find vacant parking spot in confusing parking lots through notice monitor and provide SMS to make it easy to find parked place. Proposed system consist with RFID system for detecting access of cars, microprocessor system for processing data of checking existence of cars on parking spots and communicating with server, and server system which processes information of cars' in and out, guides empty parking spots and parked location to drivers. Suggested system is realized by handmade model parking lot size of 8 cars, and we confirmed practicality by providing information using parking notice monitor and single message service.
