  • Recently the accidents of residual children in vehicles have frequently occurred. In order to prevent this, it is necessary to supplement safety devices together with children safety education. In this paper, we proposed a system to prevent the accidents of leaving kindergarten children in the school bus by detecting the events such as movement, pressure, voice.

  • 기존의 수동적인 차량관리 시스템은 관리자가 정해진 위치에 상시 대기하여 관리를 해주어야 하며 아날로그 녹화 시스템의 화질저하와 저장공간의 부족이라는 단점이 있으므로 생산성이나 관리적으로 크게 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 아날로그적인 방법을 탈피하여 영상처리 기법을 이용해 보안카메라에서 받아온 영상정보를 이용해 차량정보를 파악하고 실시간으로 처리하며 Web이나 PDA등 디지털 이동매체에 접속하여 이동환경에서 활용할 수 있도록 통합 시스템을 구축하는 것을 제안한다.

  • Today, a number of CCTV on the highway is to observe the flow of traffics. There have been a number of studies where traffic data (e.g., the speed of vehicles and the amount of traffic on the road) are transferred back to the centralized server so that an appropriate action can be taken. This paper introduces a system that detects the changes of traffic flows caused by an accident or unexpected stopping (i.e., vehicle remains idle) by monitoring each lane separately. The traffic flows of each lane are level spacing curve that shows Wigner distribution for location vector. Applying calogero-moser system and Hamiltonian system, probability equation for each level-spacing curve is derived. The high level of modification of the signal means that the lane is in accident situation. This is different from previous studies in that it does more than looking for the signal from only one lane, now it is able to detect an accident in entire flow of traffic. In process of monitoring traffic flow of each lane, when camera recognizes a shadow of vehicle as a vehicle, it will affect the accident detecting capability. To prevent this from happening, the study introduces how to get rid of such shadow. The system using Basian network method is being compared for capability evaluation of the system of the study. As a result, the system of the study appeared to be better in performance in detecting the modification of traffic flow caused by idle vehicle.

  • 본 논문에서는 교통 감시 시스템에서 차량추적방법을 제안한다. 교통 감시 카메라를 이용한 차량추적시스템은 차량 감시, 사고감지 및 교통정보를 확인할 수 있게 하는 시스템이다. 차량추적을 위하여 먼저 가우스 혼합 모델(Gaussian Mixture Model)을 이용하여 배경과 전경을 분리하고 형태학적 필터링을 이용하여 차량을 검출한다. 검출된 차량으로부터 SURF(Speed Up Robust Features) 매칭을 통하여 차량추적방법을 제안한다.

  • Due to vehicle personal injury accident does not, and to analyze the cause and prevention of a variety of devices and technologies are coming out. Among other things, representative of the black box, and rear camera. Despite these advances in technology, and vehicle human injuries continue to occur. The reason for this is that the children, the negligence of the driver or the vehicle is in reverse when a person suddenly passed the back of the vehicle, or the rear of the existing detection system is properly detected was unable to. Therefore, In this paper, we want to design a black box to reveal the cause of the accident, using Kinect to prevent accidents, rear-view camera and rear integrated black box system.

  • Video Image Processing (VIP) for traffic surveillance has been used not only to gather traffic information, but also to detect traffic conflicts and incident conditions. This paper presents a system development of gathering traffic information and conflict detection based on automatic calculation of pixel length within the detection zone on a Video Detection System (VDS). This algorithm improves the accuracy of traffic information using the automatic detailed line segmentsin the detection zone. This system also can be applied for all types of intersections. The experiments have been conducted with CCTV images, installed at a Bundang intersection, and verified through comparison with a commercial VDS product.

  • 차량 전 후방의 센서 감지 기법은 주행 중 차량 충돌을 예측하고 이를 운전자에게 알려줌으로써 사고를 예방하는 시스템이다. 안전운행을 위한 센서의 감지 기법과 센서 알고리즘에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있으며 특히 센서 감지 효과가 매우 중요한 과제중의 하나이다. 본 연구는 이러한 센서 감지 효과에 관심을 가져 초음파 센서 회전을 이용한 센서 감지 정보 분석을 통하여 감지 효율성을 높이고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초음파 센서 배치와 회전 실험의 결과를 통해 안전운전을 위한 센서의 배치와 회전정도를 제안한다.

  • All highway toll gates in Korea use low-speed WIM(Weight-In-Motion) to block overloaded cargo vehicles from entering the main highway, but some cargo vehicle owners are illegally modifying vehicles to operate variable axles and evading crackdowns by manipulating the axles. In previous studies detect all tires of a running vehicle were detected to determine whether there is axle manipulation. However, because the vehicle entry area at the highway toll gate checkpoint is very narrow, there is a problem that it is realistically difficult to film all tires of the entering vehicle in one video frame. In this paper, we proposed a system that can determine whether the axle is being operated through changes in the height of the vehicle's cargo box rather than by detecting tires. To detect changes in the height of a cargo box, we propose a method to extract the representative line of the cargo box using Hough transform and then measure the change in height of the representative line to detect the change in height of the cargo box. In addition, we propose a method to detect changes in the vertical height of a cargo box by accumulating motion vectors of pixels within a certain area of the image using optical flow. And the two methods were compared and their advantages and disadvantages were analyzed and presented.

A Design of the Vehicle Crisis Detection System(VCDS) based on vehicle internal and external data and deep learning (차량 내·외부 데이터 및 딥러닝 기반 차량 위기 감지 시스템 설계)

  • Currently, autonomous vehicle markets are commercializing a third-level autonomous vehicle, but there is a possibility that an accident may occur even during fully autonomous driving due to stability issues. In fact, autonomous vehicles have recorded 81 accidents. This is because, unlike level 3, autonomous vehicles after level 4 have to judge and respond to emergency situations by themselves. Therefore, this paper proposes a vehicle crisis detection system(VCDS) that collects and stores information outside the vehicle through CNN, and uses the stored information and vehicle sensor data to output the crisis situation of the vehicle as a number between 0 and 1. The VCDS consists of two modules. The vehicle external situation collection module collects surrounding vehicle and pedestrian data using a CNN-based neural network model. The vehicle crisis situation determination module detects a crisis situation in the vehicle by using the output of the vehicle external situation collection module and the vehicle internal sensor data. As a result of the experiment, the average operation time of VESCM was 55ms, R-CNN was 74ms, and CNN was 101ms. In particular, R-CNN shows similar computation time to VESCM when the number of pedestrians is small, but it takes more computation time than VESCM as the number of pedestrians increases. On average, VESCM had 25.68% faster computation time than R-CNN and 45.54% faster than CNN, and the accuracy of all three models did not decrease below 80% and showed high accuracy.
