질의 응답(Question Answering) 시스템은 질의에서 요구하는 정답 유형(Answer tyype) 및 질의에 사용된 용어를 적용하여 보다 정확한 답을 추출하고자 한다. 그러나 질의에 사용된 용어들이 문서의 정답문장에 그대로 사용되지 않고 같은 의미의 다른 어휘로 출현하기도 하며, 혹은 다른 문법적 정보를 가진 카테고리로 등장하여 정답 추출에 어려움이 따른다. 따라서, 본 논문은 질의별 카테고리 개념 리스트를 구축하여 효과적인 의미적 질의 확장 방법론을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 먼저 질문 문장의 패턴 린 질의 정보 유형을 파악하여 질의 카테고리 및 카테고리별 개념 리스트를 구축한다. 그런 후 구축된 질의 개념 카테고리 및 리스트를 활용하여 질의 유형을 학습하고, 새로운 질의가 입력되면 해당 개념 카테고리로 분류한 후, 개념 리스트를 기반으로 개념별 질의 확장을 수행한다. 제안된 시스템의 성능 명가를 위하여, TREC-9의 질의와 TREC 문서 중 1991년도 WSJ(Wall Street Journal) 42,654건을 대상으로 실험한 결과 질의 확장을 수행하지 않는 시스템의 경우 MRR(Mean reciprocal ratio) 측정에서 0.223의 결과를 보인 반면 제안된 시스템의 경우 0.50의 향상된 결과를 보였다.

본 논문에서는 개념 기반 질의-응답 시스템에서 개념 규칙을 이용하여 해답을 추출하는 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 개념 기반 질의-응답 시스템은 질의문의 각 유형별 개념 정보를 이용하여 질의문을 분석하고 해답을 추출하는 시스템이다. 질의문의 키워드들을 개념에 따라 분류하고, 질의 유형별로 공통적으로 나타나는 개념들을 이용하여 개념 프레임을 정의한다. 또한, 개념 정보와 해답이 들어 있는 문장과 문단에서 공통적으로 나타나는 구문 특성을 이용하여 해답 추출을 위한 규칙을 작성한다. 개념 규칙은 형태 정보와 구문 정보를 포함하며, 질의 유형별로 따로 작성한다. 작성된 규칙을 이용하여 문서로부터 해답이 들어 있는 문장과 문단을 추출한 후 질의문의 해답 유형에 해당하는 개체를 해답 후보로 제시한다. 실험 결과 개념 규칙을 이용한 해답 추출의 정확도가 매우 높게 나타났다.

차세대 검색 엔진의 모형으로 일컬어지는 질의/응답 시스템을 개발하는데 있어서, 보다 정확하고 유연한 검색 결과를 제공하기 위하여 개념망에 기반한 지식베이스 구축의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 개념망에 속성 구조를 추가한 확장 개념망과 속성에 의해 분류되는 정답문서 집합으로 구성되는 지식베이스를 이용한 질의/응답 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문의 지식베이스에서 정의한 속성은 질의/응답에서 정답문서를 효과적으로 연계시켜 사용자에게 보다 유연한 정답을 제공할 수 있게 한다. 본 논문에서는 경제 분야의 지식베이스의 활용 예를 설명한다.

Without detailed exact knowledge of a retrieval collection, most users find it difficult to formulate effective queries. In fact, most users may spend large amount of time formulating queries in order to obtain their desired result. A method to overcome this difficulty is to use query expansion that reformulates better query from initial query. In this paper we propose concept based query evaluation method using concept of class that retrieved from initial query. This concept is expanded through thesaurus. For efficiency evaluation of query expansion, we defined most critical value through a simulation and compared precision and recall each other.

This study was to investigate the types of middle school students’ conceptual change on electrolyte and ion. Data were collected by pre- and post- exams of 9th grade students’ conceptions of electrolyte and ion, and by semi-structured interviews with nine students served as case representatives who participated in the study. All interviews were transcribed, analyzed and classified by conceptual change according to the responses of the students. The results are as follows: First, students’ ion conceptual change was classified into four types; simple conception to sophisticated conception, incomplete conception to scientific conception, misconception to confused conception, and misconception to misconception. Most students had difficulty in understanding of the concepts of ion in pre- and post-class, and they failed to distinguish between atom and subatomic particles precisely. Second, students’ conceptual change of electrolyte was also classified into the following four types; partially scientific conception to sophisticated conception, misconception to partial misconception, incomplete conception to incomplete conception and misconception to misconception. The study found that students had difficulty distinguishing the difference between electrolytes and nonelectrolytes. Third, students also had difficulty understanding the concepts on particles because they learned the ‘electrolyte and ion’ unit so quickly in the second semester of 9th grade in order to fill in the academic reports for applying high schools. Furthermore, some suggestions were made based on the results for understanding scientific concepts on particles.

삶의 질을 구성하는 사회공간적 요소들은 현실 세계의 각 영역들, 즉 물질적, 생태적, 상징적 영역들에 상응하는 입지. 환경, 장소라는 3가지 개념들로 범주화될 수 있다. 이들은 삶의 질의 구체적 내용들, 즉 기본수요에의 접근, 생태적 안전의 보장, 그리고 공동체적 정체성의 확보와 관련된다. 본 논문은 이와 같이 ‘삶의 질’을 위한 공간을 3가지 영역으로 유형화하고, 이의 구체적 지표들을 설정하여, 대구시민들을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과를 분석하였다. 또한 본 논문은 이러한 3가지 사회공간적 요소들을 종합적으로 고려하는 공동체의 개념을 제시하고, 삶의 질을 고양시키기 위한 공동체적 생활정치를 강조한다.

In this paper, we describe a method of answer extraction on a concept-based question-answering system. The concept-based question answering system is a system which extract answer using concept information. we have researched the method of answer extraction using concepts which analyzed and extracted through question analysing with answer extracting rules. We analyzed documents including answers and then composed answer extracting rules. Rules consist of concept and syntactic information, we generated candidates of answer through the rules and then chose answer.

There are some important that development of tools to retrieve information by simple operation in large of nave users in the world wide web. In general, query formulation method and operators are variety, not easy to formulate query in information retrieval system or web based retrieval engine. In this paper, we propose "Concept Wizard" to support query formulation with concept term expansion in natural language query information retrieval system. The Concept Wizard are interactively supporting query formulation using thesaurus and Providing plug-in on the web.

This paper aims at proposing the establishment of concept for qualified startup business and the model of smart incubating business system for qualified startup business creation, which is being government's recent policy paradigm. The result of this paper shows the theoretical setting for the concept of qualified startup business through researching papers precedent and analyzing the startup business education affairs of American universities and proposing the model of requisition for qualified startup business. The core model of requisition for qualified startup business is to secure the essential factors for qualified startup business and the preparation process through compounding the requisites, the execution ecosystem for leading the mixing requisites and supporting. This model has been practiced enormously at business creation education field in American universities. This paper especially propose TEC program of NC State University in U.S.A. by case study.

This paper describes a concept-based question analysis to analyze concept which is more important than keyword for the accurate answer extraction. Our idea is that we can extract correct answers from various paragraphs with different structures when we use well-defined concepts because concepts occurred in questions of same answer type are similar. That is, we will analyze the syntactic and semantic role of each word or phrase in a question in order to extract more relevant documents and more accurate answer in them. For each answer type, we define a concept frame which is composed of concepts commonly occurred in that type of questions and analyze user's question by filling a concept frame with a word or phrase. Empirical results show that our concept-based question analysis can extract more accurate answer than any other conventional approach. Also, concept-based approach has additional merits that it is language universal model, and can be combined with arbitrary conventional approaches.
