  • 최근 회선망의 확충과 멀티미디어기술의 발달로 대용량의 데이터를 보내고 받을 수 있게 되었다. 이에 인터넷 방송이나 원격 화상교육등 질적으로 높은 서비스를 받을 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 멀티캐스트를 중심으로 개발되었을 경우 대부분의 라우터에서 지원하지 못하는 단점이 있으며 멀티캐스트를 지원하는 라우터로 교환할 경우 추가적인 비용부담이 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 원격화상교육을 위한 유니캐스트와 P2P를 응용한 에이전트를 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 남북 경제협력을 비롯한 제반 기술 교류는 북한의 과학기술중시정책에 의해 양적, 질적으로 성장하였다. 이에 따라 남북 기술협력을 보다 객관화하고 협력안을 도출하기 위해서는 북한에서 발표되는 학술자료를 비롯한 정확한 데이터를 활용해서 분석되어야 할 것이다. 본고에서는 북한과학기술 동향을 과학적으로 분석하기 위해서 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)이 북한과학기술네트워크(NK테크) 등을 통해서 확보한 자료를 기반으로 KISTI 고유의 정보분석시스템 KITAS를 활용해 북한의 과학기술문헌의 계량화를 시도해 보았다.

  • DCP (Device Configuration Protocol)는 인터넷을 기반으로 하여, TCP/IP 표준 프로토콜상에서 돌아가는 응용프로토콜로서, 특히 응용계층에서 Client와 Server의 역할을 교환하여, 다양한 필드장치들의 인터페이스를 단일화하기 위해 제안한 프로토콜이다. 이 프로토콜에 실시간 처리 알고리즘과 IPv6에서 제공되는 QoS의 기능을 연동하여 적용하게 된다면, 긴급한 실시간 처리가 요구되는 데이터를 상황에 맞게 처리 할 수 있다. 만약, 이러한 실시간 처리가 보장되는 DCP 인터페이스 방식을 현장에 적용하게 된다면, Device의 소형화에 의한 비용절감 효과, 인터페이스 단일화에 의한 효율적 장치 제어 및 관리. 그리고 실시간 처리로 인한 서비스의 질적 향상이 기대된다.

  • The 'Comprehensive Plan for Nurturing Digital Talents' reported at the Cabinet meeting of the Ministry of Education in August 2022 focuses on qualitative and quantitative expansion of informatics education centered on SW, AI education. With the advent of the era of artificial intelligence, data science education is also drawing attention as a field of informatics education. Data science is originally a field where various studies are fused, and advanced technologies are being used for data analysis, modeling, and machine learning. This study devised a draft of the instructional model of data science education through literature research and analysis of previous studies, and developed a final instructional model through usability test and expert validation.

  • The wave of the information age gradually accelerates, and fusion analysis solutions that can utilize these knowledge data according to accumulation of various forms of big data such as large capacity texts, sounds, movies and the like are increasing, Reduction in the cost of storing data accordingly, development of social network service (SNS), etc. resulted in quantitative qualitative expansion of data. Such a situation makes possible utilization of data which was not trying to be existing, and the potential value and influence of the data are increasing. Research is being actively made to present future-oriented education systems by applying these fusion analysis systems to the improvement of the educational system. In this research, we conducted a big data analysis on Twitter, analyzed the natural language of the data and frequency analysis of the word, quantitative measure of how domestic windows education problems and outcomes were done in it as a solution.

The Current State and Challenges of Linked Data in Library Cataloging (편목의 관점에서 본 링크드 데이터: 현황과 과제)

  • With high interest in linked data, there are various attempts to accommodate the linked data model in cataloging process. This study intends to discuss how to adopt and make the best use of linked data based bibliographic framework in order to improve the quality of library catalogs and to enhance library services in Korean libraries. To the end, this study focuses on (1) discussion of the meaning of linked data from the library cataloging perspective, (2) tracking best practices for implementing and operating linked data among North American and Europe libraries and bibliographic networks (in detail, constructing various types of ontology, developing linked data model including BIBFRAME and OCLC linked model, and improving retrieval service and interface), and finally (3) exploring problems and the anticipated challenges to transition to the linked data model in Korea. The data for discussion were collected from literature review and case study.

  • 최근 멀티미디어 데이터의 급속한 증가는 그를 대상으로 하는 다양한 컴퓨팅 기술의 발전을 가져왔다. 이러한 기술이 인간과의 상호 작용에서 그 양적 범위와 질적 깊이를 더해감에 따라, 멀티미디어 데이터 특히 그 중 가장 대표적이라 할 수 있는 이미지 데이터를 의미적으로 이해할 수 있는 방법의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이미지의 의미를 이해하기 위해 저수준(low level)의 시각 정보만을 이용하는 경우 인간과의 상호 작용에서 의미 격차(conceptual gap) 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이미지 객체의 시각 정보들을 가공해서 온톨로지(ontology)와 같은 형태의 지식 베이스(knowledge base)와 연동하여 보다 고수준의 의미를 부여하는 경우에는 해당 도메인을 벗어난 새로운 환경에 대해 적응력과 강인함이 떨어진다. 이러한 문제를 근본적으로 해결하기 위해서는 지식 베이스가 없는 상태에서 이미지 데이터의 형태로 주어진 대상 객체로부터 의미를 부여할 수 있는 정보들을 추출해, 구조적으로 지식 베이스를 형성해 나가고 이를 토대로 대상 이미지 객체의 의미를 이해할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 발달 심리학 이론들을 바탕으로 시각과 관련된 인간의 생득적 능력을 찾고, 이를 기반으로 우선 주어진 이미지 객체로부터 의미 정보를 효과적으로 추출할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

Developments of Evaluation System of Mission Oriented Government-Supported Research Institute by Article Citation Method (피인용 특성 분석을 통한 출연(연) 임무중심형 기관평가 개선 방향)

  • This study started from the awareness of the issue if the citation index newly introduced to evaluate the quality of papers satisfies the proper timing matter, which is a component of performance indicators for the evaluation of government-funded R&D institutes. Accordingly, the study will propose improvement ways to shift the previous evaluation system to quality evaluation for mission-oriented R&D institutes by analysing and using the periodical characteristics such as citation half-life and immediacy index of papers. As a result, it turned out that the speed of academic change is getting faster in proportion to the dependency on the technological development but that the citation speed in the field of public technology is relatively slower and the speed of knowledge transfer in the fields related to industry is faster. In addition, the citation index among the R&D fields showed no differences, and the minimum period for citation index measurement with validity should be over 6 years. The problems of evaluation for mission-oriented R&D institutes were deducted based on the technical and statistical analysis results of the temporal characteristic of citation necessary for quality evaluation of performance among R&D fields. To solve the problems, policy alternatives for object and valid quality evaluation were proposed from the points of evaluation period, evaluation criteria, and evaluation management.

Effects of Therapeutic Interventions on Upper Extremity Function Among Children With Cerebral Palsy in Domestic: A Systematic Review (국내 뇌성마비 아동의 상지기능 향상을 위한 중재효과에 대한 고찰)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of therapeutic interventions on upper extremity function of children with cerebral palsy using systematic review methods and to suggest intervention trends in Korea. Methods : The subjects of the study were the researches published in the Korean Journal since 2008. Total 12 studies were selected through Korean research database engine such as DBpia, Scholar, KSDC, KISS and RISS for the systematic review. Key words were 'cerebral palsy', 'upper extremity function' and 'hand function'. The results of this study were analyzed by qualitative level and methodological quality level of evidence, and the results of each study were analyzed according to the PICO approach, that is Patient, Intervention, Comparison and Outcome. Results : For the level of evidence, Grade IV and V were most frequent. In terms of methodological quality, majority of the studies showed 'Fair' level. The subjects were the children with hemiplegia, and Single-subjects designs and case studies were frequent experimental design. Constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT) was most frequently conducted among the intervention studies, and Jebsen-Taylor Hand Function Test was most frequently used evaluation tool. Eleven studies showed that the upper limb functions were significantly improved or were positively effective. Conclusion : Various intervention methods have been implemented to improve the upper limb functions of children with cerebral palsy. In the future, studies on intervention methods based on the type of paralysis and studies with high quality of evidence should be conducted in Korea.

Three Qualities of OTT Services: A Mixed Methods Approach (OTT 서비스의 세 가지 질적 요소: 혼합적 연구방법을 통한 접근)

  • Since over-the-top (OTT) service has emerged as a new way of consuming video contents, OTT markets grow exponentially and the competition among the OTT services becomes intense. Only limited systematic research effort has been paid to understand why users subscribe such OTT services among other services. Therefore, we used developmental sequential mixed methods approach to find out the quality factors and their effect on post-subscription experiences and continuance intention. In the qualitative study, we derived six factors which a user considers important to continue the subscription. Based on the explored factors, we hypothesized a research model with modified three qualities from ISSM. The proposed research model was validated through quantitative research, a survey of 226 OTT service users in South Korea, using structural equation modeling. The results indicated that content quality is the key factor affecting both perceived enjoyment and satisfaction whereas system quality affects satisfaction, and service quality only affects enjoyment. Enjoyment affects satisfaction which sequentially affects continuance usage intention. This study contributes to research by modifying ISSM through mixed methods. It also provides OTT service providers with insight to enhance users' post experience and continuance intention to use the service through qualities derived from the interview.
