A Study on the Stratified Cluster Replicated Systematic Unrelated Question Model (층화 집락 반복계통 무관질문모형에 관한 연구)

  • We apply stratified cluster sampling to a replicated systematic unrelated question model for a large scale survey in which the population is comprised of several strata developed by several clusters and with sensitive parameters. We first present a replicated systematic unrelated question model using an unrelated question model to procure sensitive information from the population of clusters and then develop a suggested model to an unrelated question by a stratified cluster replicated systematic sampling that can be used in large population of strata. We cover the proportional and optimum allocation for the suggested model. Finally, we compare and analyze the efficiency of the suggested model with the replicated systematic unrelated question model.

Confidence Interval for Sensitive Binomial Attribute : Direct Question Method and Indirect Question Method (민감한 이항특성에 대한 신뢰구간 : 직접질문법과 간접질문법)

  • We discuss confidence intervals for sensitive binomial attributes obtained by a direct question method and indirect question method. The Randomized Response Technique(RRT) by Warner (1965) is an indirect question method that uses a randomization device to reduce the response burden of respondents. We used the mean coverage probability (MCP), root mean squared error (RMSE), and mean expected width (MEW) to compare the confidence intervals by the two methods. The numerical comparisons indicated found that the MEW of RRT is too large and the RRT is so conservative that the MCP exceeds a nominal level(${\alpha}$); therefore, it is necessary to complement these problem in order to increase the utility of the indirect question method.

The Discrepancy of Work Time according to the Measures: Self-reported Questions vs. Time-diary Method (측정방법에 따른 노동시간의 차이: 자기기입식 질문법과 시간일지법을 중심으로)

  • This article aimed to clear that the systematic bias according to the length of work time exists between estimated work time by self-reported questions used mainly in measuring and calculating the length of work time because of strong points of easy in measuring and so on and diary work time by time-diary method used because of the strong point that can measure more accurate lifetime by recording various activities of respondents during 24 hours in the stream. As the result that analyze the data from Lifetime Use Survey in 2004, the result like the contradiction came that the tendency of overstating work time is rising according as estimated work time increases via estimated work time, whereas the tendency of understating work time is rising according as diary work time increases via diary work time. The reason that the opposite results come despite the data from the same survey is that random errors act in the opposite directions by regression to the mean. Therefore, we cannot emphasize that a man working long hours tends to exaggerate his work hours by the result via estimated work time. That is, the fact that the systematic bias by the increase of work time does not exist is confirmed, and therefore, it is also impossible to raise questions about the accuracy of the data through estimated work time by self-reported questions from the evidence of the existence of that bias.

  • For procuring more sensitive information and estimating stratum target population proportion as well as an overall one form a sensitive population composed of several strata we suggest a two-stage stratified unrelated question model that uses stratified random sampling instead of simple random sampling in the two-stage unrelated question model by Kim et al. (1992) and extend it to the three-stage stratified unrelated question model. We also deal with the proportional and optimal allocation problems in each suggested model, compare the relative efficiency of the suggested two models, and show that the three-stage stratified unrelated question model is more efficient than the two-stage one in view of the variance.

  • In this paper, we developed one-stage cluster randomized response model for obtaining quantitative data by using the Greenberg et al. model(1971) when the population was made up of sensitive quantitative clusters. We obtained the minimum variance by calculating the cluster's size and the optimum number of sample clusters under the some given constant cost. We compared the efficiency of our model with the Greenberg et al. model by simple random sampling.

Korean Kindergarten Teachers' Verbal Questions and Children's Verbal Responses during Group Time (그룹시간에 있어서의 한국 유치원 교사들의 질문양식과 유치원 아동들의 반응양식에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 그룹시간 동안의 한국 유치원 교사들의 질문양식과 유치원 아동들의 반응양식을 조사한 것이다. 본 연구를 위해서 12명의 유치원 교사와 중산층 가정에서 온 아동들이 12집단(남아 : 211명, 여아 : 176명) 참가했다. 비디오를 통해서 12명의 교사들의 질문양식과 각 집단의 아동들의 반응양식이 각각 3번씩 그룹시간의 처음 15분 동안 녹음되었다. 본 연구의 측정도구로서는 Aschner-Gallagher의 분류법이 사용되었고 통계분석방법은 Chi-square tests가 사용되었다. 또 교사들과 아동들의 연령 및 정보 등을 조사하기 위해서 교사들에게 질문지가 주어졌다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사들 사이에서 사용된 질문의 수준은 차이가 있었다는 것을 보여 주었다. (1) 교사들의 Congnitive Memory 질문을 가장 많이 사용했고 Evaluative 질문을 가장 적게 사용했다. (2) Congnitive Memory 질문을 가장 많이 사용한 교사들이 있는 반면에 Routine 질문을 가장 많이 사용한 교사들이 있었다. (3) Convergent 질문을 많이 사용한 교사들과 거의 사용하지 않은 교사들이 있었다. (4) Evaluative 질문 또는 Divergent 질문을 전혀 사용하지 않은 교사들이 있었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 Havruta 학습법 적용을 통해 학습자들 스스로 수업방식을 채택해보고 가지고 있는 지식의 공유를 통해 현장실무 교과과정에 적용하고 개선 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구내용으로 첫째, 논쟁 중심 유형에서는 기술적 가치의 종류를 이해하고 그 중 어떠한 가치가 현장실무에 가장 부합하다고 생각하는지에 관한 논쟁, 둘째, 짝가르치기 유형으로 '아젠다 구축모형'중 '외부주도모형'에 대해 짝에게 가르칠 내용을 사전학습을 통해 학습의 효과를 높임과 동시에 다른 학습에서도 적용, 셋째, 질문중심 유형으로 현장실무 체계에 대한 질문중심수업을 적용하여 학습의 심화도를 높이고 질문에 익숙할 수 있도록 가이드와 유형별 질문 및 목표 제시, 넷째, 문제만들기 유형으로 활용 가능한 문제 예시자료를 통해 수업의 효과성을 학습자 스스로 체감하면서 다른 수업에서도 자발적으로 적용해 볼 수 있도록 하였다.

Unrelated question model with quantitative attribute by stratified double sampling (층화이중추출법에 의한 양적속성의 무관질문모형)

  • In the surveys of sensitive issues of the population that is composed of several unknown-size stratum, we propose the unrelated question model with quantitative attribute by using stratified double sampling. And, we consider two types of sample allocations under the fixed cost, which are the proportional allocation, the optimum allocation. In efficiency, the proosed model is inferior to the unrelated question model with quantitative attribute by stratified sampling in case of the size of each stratum is known. But we find that efficiency of the proposed model is increased, when the selecting probability of sensitive question p is small and first stage sample size n' is large.

The Difference in Pupil Size Responding to Cognitive Load and Emotional Arousal Questions between Guilty and Innocent Groups (유죄 및 무죄 집단 간 인지적 부하 및 정서적 각성 질문에 따른 동공크기의 변화의 차이)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of emotional arousal and cognitive load on pupil diameter during a lie detection interview. The guilty group (n = 30) committed a mock crime (i.e., stealing cash) and the innocent group (n = 30) performed a mission (i.e., sending a message) in the research assistant's office. After that, their pupil size was measured using a wearable eye-tracker during the interview. The interview questions were classified with the three cognitive load, three emotional arousal, and three neutral questions. The results indicate that the main effects of group and time were not significant, but the interaction between group and time was significant. It means that when answering cognitive load questions, the guilty group showed larger increase in pupil diameter than the innocent group. The present study suggests that inducing cognitive load is more effective than inducing emotional arousal during an interview when using pupil diameter as an index of deception, and it is expected to improve the accuracy of lie detection.

이중 양분선택형 질문 CV자료에서의 정박효과 검토

  • 조건부가치측정법(CVM)의 지불의사 유도방법인 이중 양분선택형 질문법은 단일 양분선택형 질문 CV자료의 통계적 비효율성을 극복하기 위한 방법으로 제안되었다. 이 방법은 여러 가지 장점에도 불구하고 출발점 편의의 심리학적 근거인 정박효과 (anchoring effect)의 발생 가능성을 의심받고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 이중 양분선택형 질문 CV자료에서 정박효과를 검토할 수 있는 일반적 지불의사금액모형을 제시하고, 그 모형으로부터 정박효과를 검토할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 모형은, Cameron and Quiggin(1994)이 제안한 이변량 모형에 두 번째 내재 지불의사금액의 설명변수로서 처음 제시된 특정금액에 대한 양분선택적 응답결과를 포함시킨 형태이다. 이 모형에서 처음 제시된 특정금액에 대한 양분선택적 응답결과의 계수 부호가 음(-)이고 통계적으로 유의하다면 정박효과가 발생하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 그러나 만약 이러한 계수 검토에서 정박효과 발생을 확인할 수 없는 경우, 두 번의 응답에서 두 지불의사금액 추정치들의 평균이 다르다고 볼 수 없다면 정박효과를 우려할 필요가 없다. 이 검토 모형 및 방법을 본 연구에서 한강 수질 개선에 대한 CV자료에 적용해 본 결과 정박효과를 우려할 필요가 없음을 확인할 수 있다.
