A Study on the Design of Metaevaluation Model for the Maritime Traffic Safety Assessment Scheme (해상교통안전진단제도의 메타평가 모형설계에 관한 연구)

  • The efforts for improving 'Maritime Traffic Safety Assessment Scheme(MTSA scheme)' have continued to the present. At this point, it needs to establish sound MTSA scheme to proceed acceleration step through the comprehensive review and systematic approach. In this study, it aimed to design of Metaevaluation Model for the comprehensive analysis of MTSA scheme with applying theory of the Metaevaluation, that is the evaluation of evaluation. To put it concretely, This research draw a basic model by using Metaevaluation methods like as literature studies, expert reviews, surveys and etc. and proposed a available 'PIP'OU' Metaevaluation Model through verified validity and reliability. This PIP'OU Model is the first proposed Metaevaluation Model in maritime field and it is expected to be used as framework to draw up improvement measure with deriving problem for the MTSA scheme.

  • This study is concerned with model selection and diagnostics for nonlinear regression model through Bayes factor. In this paper, we use informative prior and simulate observations from the posterior distribution via Markov chain Monte Carlo. We propose the Laplace approximation method and apply the Laplace-Metropolis estimator to solve the computational difficulty of Bayes factor.

Model Design and Proposal for the Development of a Learning Status Diagnostic Tool at a Christian University (기독교 대학에서의 학습 상황 진단 도구 개발을 위한 모형 설계 및 제안)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze various factors that influence the academic life of students through a theoretical review. As a result of the analysis, sub-factors were derived to diagnose the factors. From the study's findings, principles and models for developing learning status diagnosis tools were designed. The study first, based upon the competencies of university students, university life, students' low academic achievement, and academic probation studies, confirmed what factors affect student learning and from them derived a set of sub-factors. The setting dimension was divided into psychology, learning, and career factors, while also including a factor of faith for Christian university students. Next, in the draft model, sub-factors were constructed for each factor: faith maturity and faith training in the faith factor, positive thinking, emotion regulation, and self-esteem in the psychology factor, self-directed learning ability, learning motivation, and learning strategies in the learning factor, and career reflection, career exploration, career management, and career barriers in the career factor. By using the Delphi method, the final model of learning status diagnosis was confirmed. As a result, we completed the model comprised of nine sub-factors in four parts. A follow-up study should be conducted that examines learning status diagnosis tools development research.

  • 바람직한 해상교통안전진단제도 정립을 위해 보다 종합적이고 체계적인 검토가 필요한 바, 본 연구에서는 메타평가에 관한 이론을 적용하여 설계된 메타평가 모형을 그동안 실시된 우리나라 해상교통안전진단에 적용, 종합적으로 분석 평가하여 해상교통 안전진단제도의 개선방안을 도출하였다. 메타평가는 평가의 질적 개선을 통한 평가결과의 활용도를 제고하기 위하여 평가수행뿐만 아니라 전반적인 평가시스템을 포함한 평가로 그 타당성을 규명하는 일련의 작업으로서 본 연구에서는 문헌연구와 전문가검토, 설문조사 등의 방법을 활용하여 진단활동에 대한 전반적인 평가를 실시하여 개선방안을 마련하였다. 특히, 개선의 시급성을 정량화함으로써 개선 우선순위에 대한 정책적 시사점이 클 것으로 기대한다.

  • The result of the analysis of a population pharmacokinetic model can directly influence the decision of the dose level applied to the targeted patients. Therefore the validation procedure of the final model is very important in this area. This paper reviews the validation methods of population pharmacokinetic models from a statistical viewpoint. In addition, the whole procedure of the analysis of population pharmacokinetics, from the base model to the final model (that includes various validation procedures for the final model) is tested with real clinical data.

  • Diagnosis and treatment planning is initial step to fabricate removable partial denture, and one of most important factor influencing the prognosis. Partial edentulous patients have various condition of remaining teeth and oral mucosa. Therefore, for the proper diagnosis and treatment planning for each patient, getting many informations from patients during initial examination and fabricating accurate diagnostic cast are required. Especially, because the use of various diagnostic tools and surveying of diagnostic cast will be a guide for the abutment teeth selection, oral preparation and design of partial denture, dentist should understand and be able to apply this procedure during diagnosis.

  • 본 연구는 1)콜센터의 전략적 중요성을 설명하고, 2)국내외의 콜센터 운영수준진단 및 평가에 관한 연구경향 및 주요 문헌을 소개하며, 3)이러한 이론적 토대를 기초로 하여 국내 콜센터 운영수준을 평가할 수 있는 모형을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 콜센터 운영수준평가모형의 개발을 통해 각 기업은 자신의 콜 센터 현 수준을 세밀하고 다각적인 방법으로 진단과 평가할 수 있으며, 강·약점을 분석할 수 있는 객관적인 분석기회를 가질 수 있으며, 이를 통해 개선점을 도출할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The efforts for improving 'Maritime Traffic Safety Assessment Scheme(MTSA scheme)' have continued to the present since May 27th, 2009. But recently, there's a controversy about whether it has been performed properly or the results is significant. These new discussions were arose from lack of validity and appropriateness we had yet to find. At this point, it needs to establish sound MTSA scheme through the comprehensive review. This research developed a suitable meta-evaluation model for MSTA with applying theory of the teta-evaluation, that is the evaluation of evaluations and verified by using meta-evaluation methods like as literature studies, expert reviews, surveys and etc. The results of this study can be used to evaluate MTSA activities and it will contribute to improving MTSA scheme.

  • 지능형 교육 시스템에서 학습자 모델은 학습자의 반응을 토대로 교수모듈과 전문가 모듈을 연계하여 새로운 학습자 모델을 제시하는 역할을 수행하고 있으며, 이는 성공적인 지능형 교육 시스템의 구현에 있어서 핵심적인 부분이다. 따라서 많은 대학교 및 연구소에서 그동안 학습자 모형에 관한 많은 연구가 이루어져오고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 연구는 단일 학습자 모형을 기반으로 두고 있으며, 이러한 단일 학습자 모형을 이용한 시스템들은 학습자의 지식 또는 학습자의 성향을 정확히 파악하기는 어려움을 갖고 있을 뿐만 아니라 다른 모듈과의 인터페이스 부분에서 중복된 많은 정보를 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 학습자의 지식을 정확하게 진단하고 각 모듈간의 중복된 정보를 보완할 수 있는 다중 학습자 모형을 개발하여 구현하였다. 또한 이러한 다중 학습자 모형을 최적으로 수행할 수 있도록 하기위하여 agent기법을 적용하였다. Agent를 이용한 다중 학습자 모형을 적용하여 구현한 시스템은 첫째, 단계적인 접근 방법으로 보다 정확한 학습자의 지식 진단이 가능하다. 둘째, 학습과정중 학습자의 심리 상태 및 학습자의 선호도 등 파악이 용이하다. 셋째, 교수모듈과 전문가 모듈과의 연계에 있어서 정보의 중복됨의 최소화 등의 장점을 제공한다.

  • A graphical method of checking the adequacy of a generalized linear model is proposed. The graph helps to assess the assumption that the link function of mean can be expressed as a linear combination of explanatory variables in the generalized linear model. For the graph the boosting technique is applied to estimate nonparametrically the relationship between the link function of the mean and the explanatory variables, though any other nonparametric regression methods can be applied. Through simulation studies with normal and binary data, the effectiveness of the graph is demonstrated. And we list some limitations and technical details of the graph.
