Controller Parameters Design of Direct Drive Servo Valve Using Genetic Algorithm and Complex Method (유전자 알고리즘과 콤플렉스법에 의한 직접구동형 서보밸브의 제어기 상수값 설계)

  • The control system of a direct drive servo valve is a nonlinear system, and the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant and dependent on the load pressure. To satisfy the control system design requirements, the optimal parameters of the lead-lag controller and the derivative feedback controller are searched for using a genetic algorithm and a complex constrained direct search type method. The obtained controller parameters successfully perform their role to satisfy the control system design requirements.

  • This paper deals with the control and fault monitoring of a DDV hydraulic actuation system. A hydraulic servo system has a nonlinear dynamics of an orifice flow through a valve spool. A full nonlinear model for a DDV actuation system is driven, and linearized to a simple model which is convenient for a control loop and fault monitor design. A top level requirement on the performance and safety for the actuation system is introduced. A control system and fault monitoring structure which can meet these requirements are discussed. A simulation package for a DDV actuation system which has a triplex redundant structure is developed.

  • Direct drive servovalve(DDV) is a kind of one-stage valve since the rotary motion of DC motor is directly transferred to the linear motion of valve spool through the link. Since the structure of DDV is simple, it is less expensive, more reliable and offers reduced internal leakage and reduced sensitivity to fluid contamination. However, the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant such that it induces large steady-state error in a step response. If the proportional control gain is increased to reduce the steady-state error, the system becomes unstable. In order to satisfy the system design requirements, the lead-lag controller is designed using the complex method that is one kind of constrained direct search method.

  • A Direct Drive Valve(DDV) hydraulic actuation system which is commonly used as an aircraft's control surface driving actuator has multi-loop control structure to ensure its safety operation. However, because of not perfect matching of one self channel characteristics with the others, the servo valve driving current of each channel can be widely different. Therefore, the long-time use of DDV actuator without any correction of these channel current offsets will cause the problem of performance or life expectancy degradation due to unwanted heats in the linear motor. A current equalization loop structure which can minimizes current offsets between channels is introduced and designed. The performance of the current equalization loop is investigated and verified through the analytic and experimental ways.

  • 본 논문은 원자력 발전소의 안전에 있어 매우 큰 비중을 차지하는 모터 구동밸브(Motor-operated valve : MOV)의 성능진단에 직접 센서를 장착하지 않고 전기신호만을 이용하여 성능진단의 가능성을 보이기 위한 것이다. 모터 토크를 계산하기 위한 두 가지 방법으로서 D-Q frame 변환 방법과 Air-Gap 토크 식을 제시하였고, 계산된 두 토크 값은 정확하게 일치하였다. 부하를 변동하면서 토크미터로 측정된 토크 갑과는 1%의 오차범위 내에서 일치함을 확인했다. 따라서 두 토크 식은 모터구동 밸브의 성능진단을 위한 식으로 사용해도 좋다는 결론을 얻어낼 수 있었다. 계산된 토크를 주파수 분석함으로서 부하의 변동에 따라서 슬립 및 모터속도 주파수가 변화됨을 알 수 있었다. 즉 주파수 분석을 통해 MOV의 모터 및 구동기 부분의 성능 저하 감시에 유용한 단서를 제공해 줄 것이다. 결과적으로, MOV에서 전기신호의 분석은 시스템의 전기 및 기계적인 성능 저하 감시에 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 본 연구에서 제안하는 마이크로 시스템은 열공압 방식으로 구동되고 제작비용이 저렴한 indium tin oxide (ITO) 및 polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)로 제작되었다. 제안된 마이크로 밸브와 마이크로 펌프의 구조는 ITO 히터, SU-8 층, PDMS membrane, 그리고 PDMS 채널로 구성 되어 있다. 제안된 마이크로 펌프와 마이크로 밸브는 제작 공정 및 구조가 간단하고 값이 저렴하며, 마이크로 펌프와 마이크로 밸브를 같은 기판 위에 쉽게 직접화할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 마이크로 밸브의 유량은 채널 폭에 비례하며 밸브가 closing 되는 전력은 채널의 폭과 상관없이 100 mW이다. 마이크로밸브의 ITO 히터의 온-오프에 따라 유량이 매우 잘 제어되었다. 제안된 마이크로 펌프의 경우, 히터의 인가 펄스 전압이 증가함에 따라 유량은 선형적으로 비례 증가함을 관찰할 수 있다. 마이크로 펌프의 최대 유량은 펄스 전압과 duty 비가 55V와 10%일 때 6 Hz에서 78 nl/min이 측정 되었다.

압력제어솔레노이드밸브를 이용한 직접구동 방식의 유압회로에 의한 자동변속기의 변속품질 향상에 관한 연구

  • This paper suggests new hydraulic circuit to control the pressure of clutches and brakes which has several advantages than conventional hydraulic circuit in automatic transmissions. In conventional hydraulic circuit, the pressures of all friction elements are controlled by only one pressure control valve and accumlators. So, controllable range is limited and it is unable to control the friction elements independently. Therefore, we can not do the fine control of timing between apply clutch and release clutch which is needed in clutch-to clutch shifting automatic transmissions. To overcome these faults, we designed the direct-acting hydraulic circuit where one pressure control valve and pressure control solenoid valve are allocated to each friction element and control that independently. Through this structural improvement of hydraulic circuit, we can achieve elaborate aontrol to clutch pressure. Specially, We can control the timing between apply clutch and release clutch delicately which is needed in clutch-to-clutch shifting.
