다구찌법을 이용한 송풍팬 사출공정인자 설계 (Design of Injection Molding Process Factors Blower Fan using the Taguchi Method)

  • Injection mold is a manufacturing process used to produce parts of complicated shape at a low cost. Many factors affect the quality of injection molded part during injection molding process. A study on the optimization of injection mold is progressed by using a simulation software like Moldflow. Filling, packing and cooling phases of injection molding processes are analyzed according to the mold design considering the shrinkage of molded part, the degree of filling rate and the wearing of a mold. Taguchi method is applied to analyze the significance of processing parameter and the dynamic characteristics according to the variation of processing parameters. From the results, the mold temperature and packing pressure influenced the shrinkage of injection molded part.

  • The correlation between the object function and the design parameter is shown on this paper by using the characteristic function for tile mixed result of the structure analysis. tile buckling analysis and the table of orthogonal array according to the original crane's dimensional change. About the above two object functions, the effective of design change according to the change of design parameters could be estimated. Also, the crane's weight is reduced up to 20.58 percent maintaining the structural stability according to the thickness of plate.

특성함수를 이용한 분할 볼 밸브의 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimization of a Devided Ball Valve using Characteristic Function)

  • In modern industrial society, many kinds of valves have been used to control fluid flow. For the optimization of a ball valve, a quarter of spherical ball was modeled and evaluated. However, there is a difficulty in the application of the optimization technique because of the complexity of the fluid and the restriction of analysis. Therefore, in this study, it is performed to evaluate the stability of an initial model using FEM(Finite Element Method) and CFD. In addition, a shape optimization design of the valve is accomplished using an orthogonal arrangement and characteristic functions. From the result, a new design method is represented that could overcome the time and space restriction in structural design, such as the divided ball valve with less experiment.

  • 본 논문은 중형엔진 조립과정에서 실린더 프레임 회전 작업에 사용하는 지그의 구조해석을 수행한 후, 지그의 안전성을 검토하고 지그의 경량화를 통하여 실용적인 지그 설계안을 제안하였다. 현장 작업자가 들 수 있는 최대 무게를 넘는 지그를 구조해석 모델로 선정한 후, 해석모델은 지그, 실린더 프레임, 볼트, 너트, 샤클 핀을 3차원 입체요소로 구성하고 ABAQUS/Standard를 사용하여 재료 비선형 및 접촉을 고려한 구조해석을 수행하였다. 구조최적화를 위하여 응력이 상대적으로 낮은 부위와 작업성을 고려하여 설계변수를 선정하고, 실험계획법의 직교배열표를 활용하여 설계변수에 대한 각 부위의 민감도와 경량화 모델을 도출하였다.

반응표면분석법을 이용한 세탁기의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of a Washer using a Response Surface Method)

  • An optimal design method using a response surface method for dynamic characteristics of a washer is presented. The proposed method uses the design of experiment and a computer model is used for the experiment. The value of the cost function is estimated using a computer model for each case of the design variable variation. An orthogonal array is used to obtain best cases to be considered with minimum number of experimentation. Using these experimental values, optimal design is performed using a response surface method. The method used in this paper can be applied to any complicated mechanical systems that can be modelled and analyzed by a computer program. The method is applied to the design of dynamic characteristics of a washer.

  • This paper deals with the impact analysis of the impact absorbing system consist of one degree of freedom and two degree of freedom damping-spring system in spreader to increase efficiency of it. It shows the optimum damping coefficient and spring constant of impact absorbing system using for crane spreader and the optimum condition of impact absorbing system causing certain contact impulse. In the optimal model, the contact impulse is reduced 98.57 percent and 92.22 percent respectively.

  • Optical disk is the media which is used generally in data storage device, but it has a disadvantage in the vibration by the spinning and the shock. For overcoming these disadvantage, we must control the optical disk to minimize the focusing and tracking error.   • This study uses a characteristic function to explain correlations between the objective function and design variables. Analysis of means and table of orthogonal array were carried out. The change of shape of diaphragm, thickness of diaphragm and voice coil weight based on the table of orthogonal array Is made. Therefore this study carried to decide design variables for minimizing 1st natural frequency and maximizing 2nd natural frequency of diaphragm using design of experiments and characteristic function with constraints. we showed improved design variables.

  • Process design of multi-step wire drawing process, conducted by means of finite element analysis and ANN(Artificial Neural Network), has been considered. The investigated problem involves the adequate selection of the drawing die angle and the correspondent reduction rate sequence in the condition of desired initial and final diameter. Combinations of the process parameters which are used in finite element simulation are selected by using orthogonal array. Also the orthogonal array and the results of finite element simulation which are related to the process energy are used as train data of ANN. In this study, it is shown that the new technique using ANN is useful method in application to the wide range of metal forming process.

  • In today's industry, the butterfly valve has been used to control a flow effectively. However, it is difficult to have the existing structural optimization using field analysis from CFD to structure analysis when the structure is influenced by fluid. Therefore, an initial model of this study is to evaluate the stability of the valve using FEM and CFD. And, it selected variable using initial analysis results. Also, it accomplished the shape optimization design using the orthogonal arrangement and characteristic function. Research result, a few experiments showed the optimal results of there dimensional structures to be multi-objective.
