Analysis of Available Component in Artemisiae Herba (약쑥의 유용성분 정량분석)

  • 동의보감에 수재되어 있는 약쑥은 식용뿐만이 아니고 한방에서는 출혈 및 지혈약으로 자궁출혈, 임신중의 출혈, 코피지혈 등에 효과가 크다고 알려져 왔다. 또한 부인병과 건위, 설사치료와 항암활성, HeLa cell에 대한 억제작용도 보고되어 있다. MeOH엑스가 HCl-EtOH유발법, $1\%$ 암모니아 수용액 유발법, HCl-aspirin 유발법등에 의하여 유발된 위 손상에 대하여 강한 억제 작용을 나타내고 있는데 이는 flavonoid의 일종인 eupatilin으로 확인된 바 있다. 이 물질이 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor ($ID_{50}=14{\times}16^{-6}M$) 작용과 prosta glandin synthase의 활성을 약간 억제한다고 보고되었다. 약쑥의 eupatilin과 jaceosidin을 분리하여 그 화학구조를 구명하였다. 이를 지표물질로 하여 HPLC 분석조건과 HPLC용 검체의 조제, 표준검량선을 작성하였다. 강화사자발쑥 100 g의 잎에는 eupatilin은 240 mg, jaceosidin은 10 mg함유되어 있고 싸주아리쑥에는 eupatilin은 330 mg, jaceosidin은 123 mg 함유되어 있음이 확인되었다.

  • Hepatic tissues of ICR mouse were intraperitoneally injeced with Colpomenia bullosa(CB) Extract after Triton WR-1339(TX) injection were observed to investigate the antihyperlipermic effect of CB extract for hyperlipidemic hepatic tissue caused by destruction of lipid metabolism. The hepatic tissues were obtained at hour-24, 48, and 72 after TX injection with CB extract treatment. And then these specimen were fixed in 10% neutral buffer solution and were cryocut. The tissue stained by H&E for general morphology and sudan black B for lipid distribution. The increase of hepatocyte havinig meshlike cytoplasm were shown in all hepatic lobules after TX injection and the hepatic plates were disappeared in the region of meshlike hepatocyte aggregation. But the hepatocyte having meshlike cytoplasm were disappeared and hapatic plate were rearranged in CB extract injected mouse. The number of blue black colored lipid drop in hepatic cytoplasm of mouse injected with TX were increased and the size of lipid drop were enlarged. But the number of lipid drop in hepatic cytoplasm of mouse treated CB extract were decreased and the size of lipid drop were diminished. As results indicated that the accumulation of lipid drop caused by TX injection were mitigated by the antihyperlipidermic effect of CB extract.

Dental Management in a Patient with Glanzmann's Thrombasthenia : A Case Report (글란즈만 혈소판무력증 환자의 치과적 관리)

  • Glanzmann's thrombasthenia (GT) is a rare, autosomal recessive inherited congenital disorder, characterized by impaired blood coagulation due to platelet dysfunction. It was first reported by the pediatrician Glanzmann in 1918. GT affects both males and females, and it is more common in regions of the Middle East, India, and France, where intermarriage is common. It has an incidence of about 1 in 1,000,000 people. In South Korea, according to the Division of Rare Diseases, Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, around 200 cases have been reported in 2018. Clinical symptoms include petechia, ecchymosis, epistaxis, and gingival bleeding. The spontaneous loss of deciduous teeth can result in excessive bleeding with that blood transfusion should be considered. Preventing hemorrhages and hemostasis are most important factors in dental treatment. Local bleeding can be controlled by compression, but platelet transfusion can be required by prolonged bleeding. Pediatric dentists can minimize the gingival bleeding by control of the oral hygiene to prevent gingivitis and dental caries. The importance of oral hygiene and periodic recall check-up should be emphasized. During dental treatment, the examination and the treatment plan of patient should be modified to prevention of hemorrhages carefully. A 6-year-old girl with GT was referred for the treatment of dental caries, and resin restoration was performed under nitrous oxide inhalation sedation. After treatment, compression was required for the bleeding control.

  • 硏究 傷寒論 "太陽病 初服桂枝湯 反煩不解者 先刺風池風府 却與桂枝湯則愈.", 風的特性, 奇經八脈與風池,風府穴, 今得 出如下結論. 風爲陽邪 其性輕揚發泄 易襲陽位 風邪易入人身上部及頭部. 風池,風府穴在人體上部及頭部, 風邪鬱滯風池,風府穴. 風池風府穴是奇經八脈中之一穴. 風邪侵入人身經脈, 其風邪溢滯奇經八脈, 故先刺奇經八脈之中一 風池,風府穴 散鬱滯風邪 而後服桂枝湯 卽病愈. 現在感冒治療及豫防 多用此二穴 效果良好.

  • 80% extract of Gamigwaruhaebaekbaekju-Tang (GGHBT), Gagamgwaruhaebaekbaekju-Tang (GGGHBT) and Gamigwaruhaebaekwhanggum-Tang (GGHWT) remarkably showed inhibitory effects on HMG-CoA reductase, lipid peroxidation of rat liver and LDL oxidation, and DPPH free radical scavenging effect in a dose-dependent manner. Especially, GGHWT which is formulated with Trichosanthis Fructus, Pinelliae Tuber, Aurantii Immatures Fructus, Magnoliae Cortex, Allii Macrostemi Bulbus, Cinnamomi Ramulus and Scutellariae Radix on the basis of Gwaruhaebaekbaekiu-Tang listed on the traditional medicinal references showed more effective hypocholesterolemic activities in vitro bioassay than the other prescriptions.
