A study on the correlation of the structural integrity's reduction factors using parametric analysis (매개변수 해석을 이용한 구조물 건전도 저감 영향인자 상관성 연구)

  • In order to evaluate the impact of ground subsidence and superstructures that are inevitably caused by tunnel excavation, a total of seven major influencing factors of surface subsidence and structural soundness reduction were set, and a Parameter Study using numerical analysis was conducted. Stability analysis was performed using scheme of Boscardin and Cording method and the maximum subsidence amount and the angular displacement, and correlation analysis was performed for each major influencing factor. In addition, it was applied that used the mutual behavior of the ground and the structure by parameter analysis in the site of the 𐩒𐩒𐩒 tunnel located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the applicability of the site was analyzed. As a result, the error was found to be 1.0%, and it could be used as a basic material for determining the appropriate tunnel route under various conditions when evaluating the stability of the structure according to tunnel excavating at the design stage.

Adversarial learning for underground structure concrete crack detection based on semi­supervised semantic segmentation (지하구조물 콘크리트 균열 탐지를 위한 semi-supervised 의미론적 분할 기반의 적대적 학습 기법 연구)

  • Underground concrete structures are usually designed to be used for decades, but in recent years, many of them are nearing their original life expectancy. As a result, it is necessary to promptly inspect and repair the structure, since it can cause lost of fundamental functions and bring unexpected problems. Therefore, personnel-based inspections and repairs have been underway for maintenance of underground structures, but nowadays, objective inspection technologies have been actively developed through the fusion of deep learning and image process. In particular, various researches have been conducted on developing a concrete crack detection algorithm based on supervised learning. Most of these studies requires a large amount of image data, especially, label images. In order to secure those images, it takes a lot of time and labor in reality. To resolve this problem, we introduce a method to increase the accuracy of crack area detection, improved by 0.25% on average by applying adversarial learning in this paper. The adversarial learning consists of a segmentation neural network and a discriminator neural network, and it is an algorithm that improves recognition performance by generating a virtual label image in a competitive structure. In this study, an efficient deep neural network learning method was proposed using this method, and it is expected to be used for accurate crack detection in the future.

  • BB-Manhole (통신장치 지하 수용구조물)은 초고속 서비스 제공에 필요한 각종 통신장비를 지하에 수용하기 위하여 내부 환경조절 기능을 갖춘 구조물로서 현재 옥외형 함체를 제한하고 있는 수도권 지역에 주로 설치하여 KT의 초고속 서비스 품질 개선 및 신규 가입자 유치에 적극 활용하고 있다. 최근 초고속 인터넷 사업의 경쟁이 심화되면서 가입자들은 보다 빠른 속도의 안정적인 서비스를 요구함에 따라 KT는 BB-x Series 를 이용하여 가입자 최전방에 광전송장비를 설치하고 있으나 집선 용량이 큰 현재의 BB-Manhole로는 경제성 부족으로 인하여 음성 2,400p 이하의 작은 셀 구축에 적용되지 못하는 단점이 있었다. 따라서 지하에 수용되어 있는 통신함체를 작업 시에만 부상시키는 방식을 적용하여 크기를 대폭 축소시킴으로써 회선당 단가를 낮춘 중형 BB-Manhole을 개발하게 되었는데, 본 논문에서는 이러한 중형 BB-Manhole의 특징과 개발과정에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

Mechanical behaviour of waterway culvert structure assembled by precast segments (프리캐스트 세그먼트를 이용한 조립식 수로암거구조물의 역학적 거동 특성)

  • Due to the characteristic of culvert structure, the standard section of the culvert has been established and applied in field. However, this becomes a limitation in selecting a section design corresponding to various field conditions although it can improve the design and applicability of culvert structure. In order to overcome this limitation, we have developed the design and application technology of culvert structure corresponding to the field conditions that various shapes of culvert structure can be covered by assembly of precast segments. Because the structural characteristics of assembling-type waterway culvert structure, the thickness of structure and amount of reinforcing rods can vary according to the fixation or internal hinge status in the connection part of precast segments. This has a strong influence on the applicability and economic efficiency of culvert structure. Accordingly, in order to suggest a reasonable modeling technique of segment connection parts, this study has conducted the field experiment and numerical analysis. According to the results of field experiment and numerical analysis, the slab, wall and base slab with mortar splice sleeves have shown that the assembling-type of waterway culvert structure behaves like an integrated structure.

  • Recently, the development of underground structures is to be inevitably necessary due to the increase in population and traffic volume that has caused to the limit of urban land use and the heavy traffic jams. Therefore, underground structures such as subway, underground shopping centers, lifeline facilities and so on, have been increasingly constructed, On the other hand, several social problems have occurred during construction, i.e., ground subsidence, noise, and vibration. Therefore, safer and more beneficial methods for underground construction are on the demand. In this research, N.T.R.(New Tubular Roof) method has been modified and utilized for solving those problems and overcoming the difficulties connected with the bored tunnel construction of large underground openings in unfavorable ground, often under the water table, and with overburdens that are too shallow to solve problems of stability using traditional methods. The N.T.R. method has been modified to suit for Korean geotechnical conditions, and was made up for the weak points-the water leakage from walls and tops, the maintenance and the lack of stability-of the conventional methods. This paper dealt with the features and the applicability of N.T.R. Method based on the results from numerical analysis and data from in-situ monitoring system.

A preliminary study on the excavation sequence of a room-and-pillar underground structure by the drill-and-blast method (발파 굴착에 의한 주방식 지하구조물의 굴착공기 분석 연구)

  • A room-and-pillar underground structure is characterized by its grid-type array of room and pillar. As a result, its construction and economical efficiency can be governed by excavation sequence. In this study, the construction period by the drill and blast method which can be treated as a main sequence for excavation was examined by considering the regulation for blasting and construction standard of estimation in Korea. To evaluate the construction period for the room-and-pillar underground structure constructed in 4 kinds of square-type area ($30{\times}30{\sim}57{\times}57m$), the concurrent excavation pattern which was suggested in the previous researches was used. From the suggested condition, the total construction period by drill-and-blast method can be estimated with the consideration of the construction area, number of jumbo drill and faces in operation.

Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Asphalt Seal Waterproofing Material for Underground External Walls According to Temperature (온조도건에 따른 외벽방수용 아스팔트 씰계 재료의 흘러내림 특성에 관한 실험)

  • The present study investigated the characteristics of vertical sagging down of high temperature in chamber and characteristics of vertical sagging down in the outdoor asphalt sheet and asphalt seal under korea ltimate condition using asphalt seal products of solvent based type, solventless type, water dispersion type, and heat melting type, which are currently applied in Korea. Prior to the investigation of outdoor vertical sagging down characteristics, the assessment of sagging down performance of single use of sealing products at $20^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C$, $60^{\circ}C$ was conducted and the result showed that sagging down did not occur at $20^{\circ}C$ but some solventless type, water dispersion type specimens at $40^{\circ}C$ had sagging down up to 10 mm. In addition, some solventless type, water dispersion type specimens had sagging down up to 55 mm at $60^{\circ}C$. For specimens to which asphalt seal and renovated asphalt sheet were layered over the outdoor concrete vertical surface, sheet sagging and sagging down occurred up to 50 mm in water dispersion specimens after three month later since the construction in summer.

  • In recent, various types of steel pipe-roof methods, which is reinforced by mortar after propulsion of steel pipe into the ground, have been used for the construction of trenchless underpass. Integrated steel pipe-roof has flexural stiffness and can resist against overburden load and reduce the stress acting on the concrete underpass structures. Due to arching effect, vertical and horizontal stress distribution around the steel pipe-roof is changing. In this study, therefore, the characteristic of stress distribution around the underpass induced by the construction of integrated steel pipe-roof is investigated by using numerical method. To examine the soil-structure interaction, interface element is introduced. Results show that vertical stress acting on the concrete structure placing inside the steel pipe-roof is significantly reduced due to arching effect and flexural stiffness of integrated steel pipe-roof. Design load can be reduced and effective design of underpass will be available if the earth pressure reduction due to arching effect is considered in the design stage.

  • 공업의 발전과 더불어 금세기 초반부터 선박, 항공기, 지하매설물, 차량 등의 대형 파괴사고가 자주 발생하면서 이들의 파괴원인을 규명하는 연구가 활발해졌고, 이에 따라 파괴역학의 중요성이 인식되기 시작했다. 따라서 피로파괴에 대한 연구 및 이해가 크게 진전되었다[1-7]. 그러나 대, 중, 소형 기계구조물의 설계, 제작, 운용 및 구성부품과 구조물의 안전성 유지와 보수에 관심이 있는 공학자들에게는 해결되지 않은 많은 문제가 남아있다. 본 연구의 목적은 기존의 파괴역학적개념과 이를 기초로 새로 창안된 모델들이 포함된 피로수명예측 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 실제 구조물의 수명 예측에 적용하여 신뢰성을 확인하는데 있다.   • 홍수피해 저감을 위한 지하방수로나 지하저류지 등은 홍수 방어를 위한 도심 내의 토지 확보 부담을 줄이며, 집중 호우 발생 시 내수를 초기에 신속하게 배제하여 제내지 침수 피해를 줄이는데 효율적으로 활용된다. 미국 및 일본, 홍콩과 같은 외국에서는 이미 지하방수로 및 지하저류지를 활용한 홍수피해 저감방안을 수립하여 활용하고 있으며, 최근 국내에서도 치수 계획 수립 시 지하방수로 혹은 지하저류지 시설 도입이 활발히 검토되고 있으나 적용사례가 전무하여 제반기술이 부족하고 많은 시행착오가 예상된다. 제반설계기술의 경우는 구조적인 방안이 모색되어야 하며 대표적으로, 지하방수로 유입구 형상이, 동일한 흐름조건에 대한 유량배제효율에 가장 지배적인 영향인자로 알려진 바 있으며 다양한 유입구 형상설계방안이 기존 실험적 연구 및 외국 설계지침에 제안된 바 있다. 지하방수로는 접근 수로를 통해 유입된 유량이 유입구를 지나며 가속되어 와류 흐름을 형성하며 수직 갱도로 유입되는 구조를 갖기 때문에 지하방수로의 방류 효율을 높이기 위해서는 유입구에서 흐름 특성을 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 이때 유입흐름특성이 사류일 경우 혹은 급격하게 유입 유량이 많아지는 경우 수직 갱도 내에 공기 공동이 형성되어 구조물 파손, 와류의 발생으로 인한 배제효율 감소 등의 피해를 야기할 수 있으므로 수리학적으로 규명할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지하방수로의 기존 유입구형상에 대한 장단점을 비교하고, 개선점을 적용하여 수리모형을 제작하여 개수로 실험장치에 설치하고 다양한 유입흐름조건에 따라 수리실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 유입흐름조건에 따라 발생하는 유입구의 공기 공동의 발달 및 소멸 그리고 규모변화를 정량적으로 분석하여, 유입부의 가능 단면적이 큰 수직갱도인 경우, 유량배제 효율이 감소되는 분석결과에 적절하게 일치하였으며, 본 연구결과는 향후 지하방수로 설계의 제반기술의 수립 시 효율적인 활용이 가능하다.
