Ignition of ceiling insulation depending on working condition of Sprinkler head in underground parking lot fire (지하주차장 화재 시 스프링클러헤드 작동 여부에 따른 천장 위 단열재의 발화 여부)

  • This study is focused on the ignition of ceiling insulation depending on working condition of Sprinkler head in underground parking lot fire. When temperature changes of same point were measured depending on sprinkler's working condition, in Scenario 1, inner temperature at border of spray applied material(SP-2) of ceiling part near the fire and ceiling insulation(blowing polystyrene) was 658.27℃ and its which inner maximum temperature is higher than 427℃ which is the ignition point of ceiling insulation(blowing polistyrene), so it was observed that flame is ignited on the ceiling insulation and spread fire. In scenario 2, Inner fire temperature at border of spray applied material(SP-2) and ceiling insulation(blowing polystyrene) near the fire was 53.10℃ and it was lower than ignition point so it was observed that flame was not ignated on the ceiling insulation. As a result, it was foreseen that possibility of ignition on the ceiling insulation depending on working condition of sprinkler.

  • Electric vehicle fires in underground parking lots are very dangerous, but it is judged that the current related laws and regulations do not change, which will cause problems. As a result of the analysis for the purpose of providing an electric vehicle in an underground parking lot, fire-resistance coating is essential as it can cause an explosion in the building members made of high-strength concrete when an electric vehicle fire occurs in an underground parking lot. Since a fire occurs, it is necessary to prevent electric vehicles from parking adjacent to each other.

  • 전기차 보급이 늘어나면서 그만큼 화재의 발생이 늘어나고 있다. 화재 발생률로만 보면 내연기관 차량보다 더 높다고 볼 수 없다. 하지만 전기차 화재는 폭발성이 강하고 순식간에 인접한 물체에 옮겨붙으며 화재 진압이 어렵다는 특성을 보이고 있다. 전기차 화재의 위험성에도 불구하고 산업통상자원부에서는 지하 주차장 비율이 높은 환경에서 지상 주차장 설치를 강제한다면 친환경 자동차 보급에 저해가 되기 때문에 법률을 개정하는 것을 주저하고 있는 실정이다. 외국에서도 전기차는 지상주차장을 우선으로 하는 추세이다. 이에 본 연구는 공동주택 등에서 전기차 주차장을 지상에 별도로 설치하는 등 안전을 도모한 법률과 조례안을 구상하고자 한다.

  • 지하 주차장에서 차량사고에 의해 차량화재가 발생하는 것을 고려하여 대규모 연소실험을 실시하였다. 연소 실험결과 실험체 Car1, Car2 의 최대 발열량은 5.4MW가 측정 되었으며, 최고온도는 Car1에서 $1206^{\circ}C$와 Car2에서 최고 온도 $1113^{\circ}C$가 측정 되었다.

  • 최근에 들어서 지하전철의 건설 확대와 도시 지하차도 및 지하구조물의 건설 수요증가 등 대규모 지하생활 공간의 개발이 추진되고 도시 기능의 집중화로, 공간의 유효 이용의 관점에서 적극적으로 지하공간을 활용하고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같이, 기존 건물의 심층화와 지하 주차장 및 지하가, 지하철역 등의 활용성이 증가하면서 더욱 이들 지하 다중이용 시설의 심도화와 대규모화가 이루어지고 있는 것이다. 그러나, 이들 지하시설의 경우, 안전성과 쾌적성을 부여하기 위한 자연채광, 방재, 환기 기술분야의 설계와 시공 기술 등이 선진국의 경우에 비하여 아직 취약한 실정이어서, 이들 시설 공간에서의 환경악화 현상이 클 뿐만 아니라, 특히 방재상의 문제점으로 화재가 발생시, 인명의 피난과 소화 활동의 곤란성 등이 지적되고 있는 것이다.(중략)

  • '환경친화적 자동차의 개발 및 보급 촉진에 관한 법률'에 따라 주거지역 내의 전기차 충전기 설치 및 보급이 빠르게 확산 중이다. 전기 자동차는 충전 중 화재 시 리튬이온 배터리 열폭주(thermal runaway) 현상 때문에 쉽게 진압하지 못한다는 단점이 존재한다. 이에 따라 지하 주차장에서의 전기 자동차 충전 중 화재 시 피해 최소화를 위한 스마트 IoT 주차장을 기획하고 개발하였다.

  • Today, building constructions are becoming larger, higher, deeper, and complex to improve quality of human life and meet various needs. As a result, new design space for non - typically standardized space has been created, and targets for performance-based design are also becoming increased. An evacuation safety evaluation of performance-based design should be compared with ASET and RSET estimation so that the value of RSET does not exceed the value of ASET. However, there is a problem that it is difficult to secure the safety with using the performance-based design evaluation method currently in use, especially in case of the underground parking lot, because it has wide compartment area and various routes for evacuation. Therefore, in order to overcome these problems, this paper first investigates the simulation setting method of the performance-based design that is currently in use, and then conducts two fire simulations and three evacuation simulations for underground parking lots each time, so performs the evacuation safety evaluationin total six cases of situations. Here this paper analyzes the problem with comparative evaluation research and suggests the better solution for improved evacuation safety evaluation of performance-based design.

  • The increasing number of vehicles owned by individuals in association with the rising income resulted in an acute shortage of parking spaces. We are not only seeing a serious traffic congestion arising from the vehicles parked in the streets adjacent to apartment buildings, but also the social issues of not being able to properly prepare for the emergency such as breakout of fires. Although remodeling of old apartment buildings are being discussed in measures to these problems, the research of parking space expansion is still insufficient. In a survey on remodeling of old apartment buildings, over 30 percent of those who answered cited the parking space as the most needed improvement and said they preferred direct entry as a way to expand parking space among lateral underground expansion methods. The direct entry is a method in which one directly enters the apartment house from the parking lot through the elevator and it requires extended operation of elevators. However, because there are no established systematic processes for elevator extension and works of such kinds are not common, elevator extension works are being done in an inefficient manner. In this research we reanalyzed the processes in order to present the items to be examined for more efficient elevator extension works, and through interviews of experts in the field, we produced the examination items by process from the perspectives of management and technology. This research will be used as a reference material for elevator extension works associated with expanding underground parking lot of apartment buildings.
