Recently, with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, digital twins are emerging as an important technology that connects and integrates physical systems and cyber systems. In this article, we analyzed the major requirements of digital twins required for the construction of digital twins of power equipments in the energy field, focusing on the industry 4.0-based Asset Administration Shell(AAS). However, since not so many studies have been conducted yet on a common platform or demonstration model for implementing digital twins both domestically and internationally, digital twin requirements are analyzed with the consideration of digital twinning of power equipment in the energy field. Also, we suggested necessary procedures and specific functions of AAS to establish a smart energy digital twin in the future by analyzing the core requirements necessary for the construction and designing the AAS design for specific power equipment.

The natural frequency of a laminated cantilever microbeam was studied in the present investigation. The microbeam was made of quartz on a silicon chip, and its top and bottom surfaces were coated with thin(~30nm) gold films. An ultrasonic testing platform was employed to resonate the microbeam, and its time domain signal was optically measured. The natural frequency was quantified through the fast Fourier transform of the waveform, and the result showed good agreement with a theoretical estimation from the classical beam theory. This study is expected to provide a dynamic evaluation technique for micro/nanoscale materials and micromechanical structures.
This paper tries to critically examine how development of digital technology affects on the processes of production, consumption and intermediation of popular culture. We focus on the case of BTS to find changes after new media environment. In production part, artist produces diverse contents through multiple platforms to be a 'total package', and in consumption part, fans vote and promote online to support their artist, and their roles have expanded to the cultural intermediary at some part, so on the part of intermediation, inequalities from the power relations have changed in a part.
This study examined the trends and issues of social media campaign studies from three aspects-campaign strategy, institutional environment regulating the social media, and political effect. Then, this study performed an empirical analysis on the case of the 20th general election in order to discuss the political effect, which has been analyzed the least. Specifically, this study empirically examined the trends of candidates' participation in the twitter campaign, the partial mobilization and voter response, and the platform effect on the election results. The study examined all of the candidates' twitter accounts and traffic and found the following results.-first, the number of participants in the twitter campaign increased significantly compared to the 19th general election, and the campaign was dominated by only two political parties that had more power to mobilize resources; second, it was clearly identified that twitter is a partisan media. where specifically, those in the mainstream of the Democratic Party mobilized much more supporters; and lastly, the twitter campaign has a positive impact on the increase in the rate of votes and chances of winning the election. Particularly, the number of followers and the duration of activities were found statistically meaningful, proving that promotion of networking and social capital is more important in election campaigns.
The digital tax, recently referred to as the Google tax was finally agreed at the 31st General Assembly of the OECD (October 8, 2021) with full support by 136 countries and will take effect from 2023. The purpose of this study is to analyze the digital tax prepared by the OECD for global MNEs, and to suggest the impacts on the Korean industry and to present the Korean governmental countermeasures. As the first study, we analyzed the international agreement on digital tax. In results, we found that even if global MNEs do not set up a business operation in overseas countries, if sales and profits are generated, 25% of the excess profit is borne as tax (pillar 1), and when MNEs do business in all the countries, they are liable to at least a 15% tax (pillar 2). We think that countries around the world have prepared a minimum countermeasure to protect their companies in anticipation that global MNEs will easily encroach on their markets in the future. As the second study, in order to discover the reason why the MNEs are so strong, we investigated the trends of Google and B2B SaaS companies in details. In results, we discovered that the global MNEs establishes a digital platform partnership ecosystem that enables them to enter foreign markets easily and expand rapidly. In conclusion, as a countermeasure for the Republic of Korea, governmental policies were proposed at the corporate (startup nurturing), industry, and national level respectively.
In the telecommunications service industry, until now, it has been possible for Network Operators (NOs) to secure a competitive advantage to increase subscribers and profits through network investment. However, amid a big change to digital economy, network investment fails to lead to increase profits. These days platform companies without holing network infrastructure have a more competitive advantage and take more profits. This makes NOs gradually lose interest in network investment. The purpose of this paper is to find policy measures to promote network investment in digital economy. Specifically, we identify the factors influencing the network investment and promising policy measures energizing the investment, and then analyze their priorities and derive policy implications through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP). The results of this paper show that market competition is more preferred to public intervention in promoting network investment. However, in order to guarantee and expand the universal access to network, it is necessary to consider expanding the role of the public, focusing on non-economic areas.
This paper aims to derive success factors that successfully lead an artificial intelligence (AI) project and prioritize importance. To this end, we first reviewed prior related studies to select success factors and finally derived 17 factors through expert interviews. Then, we developed a hierarchical model based on the TOE framework. With a hierarchical model, a survey was conducted on experts from AI-using companies and experts from supplier companies that support AI advice and technologies, platforms, and applications and analyzed using AHP methods. As a result of the analysis, organizational and technical factors are more important than environmental factors, but organizational factors are a little more critical. Among the organizational factors, strategic/clear business needs, AI implementation/utilization capabilities, and collaboration/communication between departments were the most important. Among the technical factors, sufficient amount and quality of data for AI learning were derived as the most important factors, followed by IT infrastructure/compatibility. Regarding environmental factors, customer preparation and support for the direct use of AI were essential. Looking at the importance of each 17 individual factors, data availability and quality (0.2245) were the most important, followed by strategy/clear business needs (0.1076) and customer readiness/support (0.0763). These results can guide successful implementation and development for companies considering or implementing AI adoption, service providers supporting AI adoption, and government policymakers seeking to foster the AI industry. In addition, they are expected to contribute to researchers who aim to study AI success models.

Wind power is one of the most efficient and reliable energy sources in the transition to a low-carbon society. In particular, offshore wind power provides a high-quality and stable wind resource compared to onshore wind power while both present a higher installed capacity than other renewables. In this paper, we present our new program, the X-WIND program well suitable for the assessment of the substructure of offshore wind turbines. We have developed this program to increase the usability of analysis programs for offshore wind energy substructures by addressing the shortcomings of existing programs. Unlike the existing programs which cannot solely perform the substructure analyses or lack pre-post processors, our X-WIND program can complete the assessment analysis for the offshore wind turbines alone. The X-WIND program is embedded in AutoCAD so that both design and analysis are performed on a single platform. This also performs static and dynamic analysis for wind, wave, and current loads, essential for offshore wind power structures, and includes pre/post processors for designs, mesh developments, graph plotting, and code checking. With this expertise, our program enhances the usability of analysis programs for offshore wind energy substructures, promoting convenience and efficiency.

A spudcan is mounted on the lower leg of the jack-up rig, a device for preventing a rollover of a structure and to support the structure in a stable sea floor. At the time of inserting the surface of the spud can to penetrate when the sand layer is stable and smoothly pulled to the clay layer, and at that time of recovery when uploading the spud can is equipped with a water injection device. In this study, it is significant to optimize the shape of pipelines holes for water injection device and it was set in two kinds of shape, the oval and round. Interpretation of the subject into the site of Gulf of Mexico offshore Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV) was chosen as a target platform. Using the ANSYS Workbench commercial programs, optimal design was conducted. The results of this study can be applied to the hole-shaped design of various marine structures.
An efficient frequent pattern algorithm is essential for mining association rules as well as many other mining tasks for convergence with its application spread over a very broad spectrum. Models for mining pattern have been proposed using a FP-tree for storing compressed information about frequent patterns. In this paper, we propose a centroid frequent pattern growth algorithm which we called "CAWFP-Growth" that enhances he FP-Growth algorithm by making the center of weights and frequencies for the itemsets. Because the conventional constraint of maximum weighted support is not necessary to maintain the downward closure property, it is more likely to reduce the search time and the information loss of the frequent patterns. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better performance than other algorithms without scarifying the accuracy and increasing the processing time via the centroid of the items. The MapReduce framework model is provided to handle large amounts of data via a pseudo-distributed computing environment. In addition, the modeling of the proposed algorithm is required in the fully distributed mode.
