National Records Designation System is designed to protect valuable civilian records from loss or damage. It also intends that government administrates important civilian records to raise public concerns civilian records and to foster archival culture in Korea. This study investigates the current states of service fo the designated record through the web page of National Archive of Korea. Major findings are as follows. First, the information of designated records is dispersed in two web pages by the National Archive of Korea, an introductive web page of every collection in the National Archive of Korea and a web page of designated record service. Second, the web page of designated record service provides information of designated records only at collection level, so it is not easy for users to understand the contents of the records. In order to improve the service for the designated record service of the National Archive of Korea, this study proposed the unification of dispersed web pages to provide information of the designated records consistently. It also suggested a facet based directory service and word cloud service to give access to the contents of each designated record collection. The facet based directory and word cloud service will help users to understand the designated records in more detail.

The identity of public libraries in Japan is a social education institution under the 「Social Education Act」 and the 「Library Act」. For these identities, the local government's board of education has operated and managed public libraries, and some have managed by the Management Outsourcing System to public organizations. Then, in 2003, the 「Local Autonomy Act」 was revised to introduce the Designated Manager System in form of administrative disposition, and expanded the scope of application to private institutions and organizations. As of the end of 2018, 18.0% of public libraries introduced the DMS, but the pros and cons surrounding it are sharply opposed. This study outlined the overall status of the DMS and the introduction of public libraries, and critically reviewed major issues. As a result, As a result, there was much controversy over the expected cost reduction, service improvement, employee professionalism, business continuity, and cooperation network establishment when DMS was introduced. The reasons were due to downsizing-based personnel management, contract-oriented employment, short periods of designation, lack of multiple competitive markets, and declining service capabilities of irregular workers. The public library is a knowledge and cultural infrastructure that enhances human values and social dignity based on faithful collection and active service, and is a local public goods that emphasizes non-exclusion and non-competitiveness. Given the increasing number of cases in which public libraries are recently contracting out to cultural foundations in Korea, DMS is not a fire across the river. We need to be wary of the possibility that Japan's unbearable institutional lightness will be applied to public libraries in Korea.

It is essential to ensure public use of and privacy of location information for promoting the location based services. The grade designation for location information is required to accomplish them. The grade designation for location information can increase the reliability of location information and reinforce the right of choice for user. Therefore the institution of grade designation for location information should be introduced rapidly to keep up with the growth of the location based services industry.

관리종목 지정 제도는 상장 기업 내 기업의 부실화를 경고하여 기업에게는 회생 기회를 주고, 투자자들에게는 투자 위험을 경고하기 위한 시장규제 제도이다. 본 연구는 관리종목과 비관리종목의 기업의 재무 데이터를 표본으로 하여 관리종목 지정 예측에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 분석에 쓰인 분석 방법은 로지스틱 회귀분석, 의사결정나무, 서포트 벡터 머신, 소프트 보팅, 랜덤 포레스트, LightGBM이며 분류 정확도가 82.73%인 LightGBM이 가장 우수한 예측 모형이었으며 분류 정확도가 가장 낮은 예측 모형은 정확도가 71.94%인 의사결정나무였다. 대체적으로 앙상블을 이용한 학습 모형이 단일 학습 모형보다 예측 성능이 높았다.

최근 경제자유구역에 관한 법률이 통과되면서 인천, 부산, 광양항이 그 첫 번째 대상지로 지정될 예정이다. 그러나 경제자유구역 제도는 동북아 비즈니스 중심국가 상업의 일환으로 매우 중요한 사업이지만 수도권과 대도시 중심의 지역간 불균형발전 초래, 유사한 제도인 자유무역지역이나 관세 자유지역, 국제자유도시, 외국인투자유치지역 등과의 중복성으로 자칫 비효율적인 투자가 우려되고 있다. 본 연구는 군산항 인근을 경제자유구역으로 지정할 필요성과 잠재력을 제시하고, 경제자유구역제도의 발전방향과 유사지역과의 통합정보 관리시스템 도입방안을 제시하고자 한다.
