고속 초정밀 장행정용 이중 서보 시스템의 고속 세틀링을 위한 모드 변경 제어 기법

  • 반도체의 고집적화와 LCD의 대형화로 인해 웨이퍼 및 LCD 검사용 스테이지의 성능 향상이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 고속의 검사속도, 서브마이크론의 검사 정밀도, 그리고 대행정 구동을 위한 이중 서보 시스템을 제안하였다. 이중 서보 시스템은 선형모터로 구동되고 공기베어링으로 가이드 되는 조동 구동부와 보이스 코일 모터(VCM)로 구동되고 공기베어링으로 가이드 되는 미세 구동부로 구성된다. 검사 효율을 향상시키기 위한 고속 세틀링을 위한 제어기로서 시간 최적 제어 기법과 시간 지연 제어기를 결합한 모드 변경 제어기를 제안하고 이중 서보 시스템에 구현하여 성능을 평가하였다.

Evaluation of Usefulness of CT Angiography in the Lower Extremity using Heart Rate (심박동 수를 활용한 Lower Extremity CT Angiography 검사의 유용성 평가)

  • The purpose of this study is to find an optimized imaging technique and evaluate its usefulness by comparing and analyzing the difference in contrast enhancement of lower extremity artery according to the patient's heart rate during lower extremity Computed Tomography Angiography examination. From January 2022 to August 22nd, 139 outpatients who visited Ajou University Hospital and underwent lower extremity angio CT examination were targeted. According to the heart rate, the groups were divided into four groups: A(HR ≤65), B(65 < HR < 80), C(80≤ HR). In addition, among patients with a heart rate of 65 or less, the heart rate was considered, and the scan was divided into D, E, F group with a delay time. The time of arrival of contrast medium and the average value of contrast enhancement were compared and analyzed. As a result of quantitative evaluation, B and C groups with a heart rate of more than 65 times had better HU values in the popliteal artery than A group (HR ≤ 65), and D group showed better HU improvement effects compared to A group (p<0.001). The comparative analysis with other groups was insignificant. The difference in heart rate affected the angiographic intensity of the lower extremities artery. Therefore, it is effective to apply the appropriate test timing for each patient by using the heart rate during the lower extremity angio CT Scan.

The ages and stages questionnaire: screening for developmental delay in the setting of a pediatric outpatient clinic (ASQ :소아과외래에서의 발달지연 선별검사)

  • Purpose : Early identification of developmental disabilities allows intervention at the earliest possible point to improve the developmental potential. The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), a parent- completed questionnaire, can be used as a substitute for formal screening tests. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity of the Korean version of the ASQ (K-ASQ) as a screening tool for detecting developmental delay of young Korean children in the setting of a busy pediatric outpatient clinic. Methods : Parents completed the K-ASQ in the waiting room of the pediatric outpatient clinic of St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic University Medical College. Out of 150 completed the ASQ, 67 who were born term and had no previous diagnosis of developmental delay, congenital anomalies, or neurological abnormalities were enrolled. The cut-off values of less than 2 standard deviations (SD) below the mean for the ASQ were used to define a "fail", and children who failed in one or more domains tested were classified as "screen-positive". Diagnosis of developmental delay was made when the developmental indices fell below -1 SD of the Bayley Scales of Infant Development-II. Results : (1) The mean age of children was $16.4{\pm}7.4$ months. Ten children (14.9%) were small-for- gestational age infants. The mean birth weight and gestational age were $3.1{\pm}0.6kg$ and $38.8{\pm}1.4$ weeks. Nine children (13.4%) were twins and 33 (49.0%) were male. The mean maternal education in years was $13.6{\pm}2.4$, and 31.3% had full-time jobs. The time for completing the ASQ was $10.2{\pm}3.0$ minutes. (2) Seventeen children (25.4%) were classified as screen-positive, four of them were delayed in development. Among eight children diagnosed with developmental delay, four were screen-positive and the other four were screen-negative by the ASQ. (3) The test characteristics of the ASQ were as follows: sensitivity (50.0%); specificity (78.0%); positive predictive value (23.5%); negative predictive value (92.0%). Conclusion : The high negative predictive value of the K-ASQ supports its use as a screening tool for developmental delay in the setting of a pediatric outpatient clinic.

  • 클라우드 환경에서 스팟 인스턴스(spot instance)는 사용자가 제시한 입찰 가격으로 클라우드 내의 자원을 활용하도록 해 준다. 그러나 사용자의 입찰 가격이 클라우드 자원 가격보다 높으면 작업 실패가 발생하고 이로 인해 작업 완료 시간의 지연과 서비스 품질의 저하를 야기한다. 이 문제에 효과적으로 대처하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 시간 문턱치 기반의 검사점(time threshold-based checkpointing) 기법을 제안하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 작업 수행 시간과 비용 절감 관점에서 기존 기법과 비교 분석한다.

A Fast Route Selection Mechanism Considering Channel Statuses in Wireless Sensor Networks (무선 센서 네트워크에서 채널 상태를 고려하여 빠른 경로를 선택하는 기법)

  • We have presented a routing mechanism that selects a route by considering channel statuses in order to fast transfer delay-sensitive data in WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks). The existing methods for real-time data transfer select a path whose latency is the shortest or the number of hops is the smallest. An algorithm to select a real-time transfer path based on link error rates according to the characteristic of wireless medium was also suggested. However, the propagation delay and retransmission timeout affected by link error rates are shorter than channel assessment time and backoff time. Therefore, the mechanism proposed in this paper estimated the time spent in using a clear channel and sending out a packet, which is based on channel backoff rates. A source node comes to select a route with the shortest end-to-end delay as a fast transfer path for real-time traffic, and sends data along the path chosen. We found that this proposed mechanism improves the speed of event-to-sink data transfer by performing experiments under different link error and channel backoff rates.

Evaluation of the Effective Methods for Renal Washout on $^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT ($^{18}F$-FDG PET/CT 검사에서 신장 방사능의 효과적인 배설 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: Renal excretion is the main route of FDG clearance in FDG PET/CT scan. Applying optimal method of renal excretion is very important for enhancing image quality and diagnostic accuracy. We evaluated several methods of renal excretion in FDG PET/CT scan. Materials and Methods: Thirty patients with normal renal function were prospectively included. Patients were divided into three group and undergone early and delayed FDG PET/CT scans. (1) Delay group; at 1 hour later of early scan, delayed scan was performed without additional hydration, (2) Hydration group; at 1 hour later of early scan, delayed scan was performed with additional oral hydration (700 mL of water), (3) Lasix group; lasix was administered at the end of early scan and dealyed scan was performed 30 min later. Early and delayed scans were compared to evaluate efficiency of renal excretion. Visual and quantitative analyses were performed by experienced physician and technologist of nuclear medicine. Results: On the visual analysis, renal excretion was the most evident in Lasix group followed by Hydration group. Delay group showed poor renal excretion. On the quantitative analysis, washout rates were $9.2{\pm}20.7%$, $28.1{\pm}22.8%$ and $29.5{\pm}23.1%$ for Delay, Hydration and Lasix groups, respectively. Conclusion: Administration of lasix was the best method for enhancing renal excretion. Delayed scan with hydration was also efficient method, but delayed scan without hydration was not adequate method.

  • 효과적인 프리젠테이션을 위해서는 동기화가 지원되어야 하며, 특히, 분산 환경에서의 프리젠테이션은 네트워크 대역폭과 지연시간 등에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에, 그러한 요소들이 고려되어 동기화가 지원되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 미디어들이 각 서버로부터 전송 될 때 네트워크의 상태와 자원을 검사하여 그에 따른 변화를 서버에 피드백시켜, 서버로부터 전송되는 데이터의 양을 조절함으로서 동기화를 지원하는 분산 멀티미디어 프리젠테이션 모델을 제안한다.

Effect of Sodium Malate Buffer as pH Adjuster on the Fermentation of Kimchi (pH조정제 Sodium Malate Buffer의 첨가가 김치의 숙성에 미치는 효과)

  • The effect of sodium malate buffer(SMB) on the fermentation of Kimchi was investigated. Chemical and microbial changes were investigated during fermentation of Kimchi containing 0,2,4 and 6% salt at $25^{\circ}C$. The fermentaton of lower salted Kimchi was taster than that of higher salted Kimchi. One percent addition of SMB, as pH adjuster, showed the retardation of Kimchi fermentation about 36 hours at $25^{\circ}C$. Due to the buffer action of SMB, the acidity was inclosed during the fermentation as concentration of SMB increased. The buffer action of SMB was increased during fermentation of Kimchi.

  • The more complex and large digital circuits become, the more important delay test becomes which guarantees that circuits operate in time. In this paper, the proposed algorithm is developed, which enable the fast indirect implication for efficient test pattern generation in sequential circuits of standard scan environment. Static learning algorithm enables application of a new implication value using contrapositive proposition. The static learning procedure found structurally, analyzes the gate structure in the preprocessing phase and store the information of learning occurrence so that it can be used in the test pattern generation procedure if it satisfies the implication condition. If there exists a signal line which include all paths from some particular primary inputs, it is a partitioning point. If paths passing that point have the same partial path from primary input to the signal or from the signal to primary output, they will need the same primary input values which separated by the partitioning point. In this paper test pattern generation can be more effective by using this partitioning technique. Finally, an efficient delay fault test pattern generator using indirect implication is developed and the effectiveness of these algorithms is demonstrated by experiments.

The Usefulness of Scintigraphy for the Detection of Gastroesophageal Reflux and Pulmonary Aspiration (위식도 역류와 폐 흡인 진단 방법으로서 위식도 역류 신티그래피의 유용성)

  • Purpose: Chronic pulmonary disease may be caused by aspiration of gastric contents secondary to gastroesophageal reflux. At present, there is no gold standard for documenting pulmonary aspiration. The purpose of this study was to investigate the usefulness of radionuclide scintigraphy in the detection of gastroesophageal reflux and pulmonary aspiration. Methods: Thirty-five patients with suspected aspiration pneumonia, and five normal control subjects, were included in the study. All subjects underwent gastroesophageal reflux scintigraphy after the ingestion of a $^{99m}Tc$-tin colloid mixture. Dynamic images to detect gastroesophageal reflux were obtained for 1 hour. Additional static images of the chest, to detect lung aspiration, were obtained at 6 and 24 hours after oral ingestion of the tin colloid. In addition to visual analysis, pulmonary aspiration was quantitated by counting the number of pixels labeled with radioactive isotope in the region of interest (ROI) of both lung fields. Aspiration index (AI) was obtained by subtracting the pixel counts of the background from the pixel counts of the ROI. Results: Among 35 patients with suspected aspiration pneumonia, 23 proved to have gastroesophageal reflux by scintigraphy. One patient showed definite pulmonary accumulation of activity by visual analysis of the 6-hour image. Thirty of 35 (85.7%) patients showed higher AI beyond the upper limit of AI in the healthy controls. When we compared the reflux group with the non-reflux group, there was a significantly higher AI at 6 hours in the reflux group (p<0.05). Conclusion: The results suggest that radionuclide scintigraphy is useful in detecting small pulmonary aspiration in patients with suspected aspiration pneumonia secondary to reflux.
