Inundation Analysis of Agricultural Land considering Climate Change and Cultivation Environment Change (기후변화 및 재배환경 변화를 고려한 농경지 침수 분석 연구)

  • 지구온난화에 의해 야기된 기후변화로 인하여 최근 국지성 집중호우의 발생 빈도와 강도가 증가하고 있는 추세이며, 또한 기온, 강수량 등의 변화로 농경지 재배작물과 시설재배와 같은 재배방법의 변화 등 농경지의 재배환경이 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 극한기상의 발생 빈도 및 강도의 증가와 농경지 재배환경의 변화는 홍수로 인한 하천수 범람, 지하수위 상승, 배수불량, 도달시간의 감소 등 저지대 재배지 및 농경지에서의 침수 위험을 증가 시키는 원인이다. 이로 인해, 매년 농경지 침수로 인하여 많은 농가들이 피해를 겪고 있으며 피해 규모와 빈도 또한 증가하고 있는 추세를 보이고 있다. 따라서 농경지 침수 피해 저감을 위하여 다양한 관계기관과 연구자들이 배수개선사업 및 침수 예측 및 피해 저감을 위한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기후변화 및 재배환경의 변화가 농경지 침수에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 기상청 종관기상관측장비(ASOS) 및 방재기상관측장비(AWS)의 지점 강수량 자료를 수집하고 기후변화의 변동 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 과거 농경지 재배 현황 및 침수 피해 발생 자료를 수집하여 농경지 재배환경의 변화와 농경지 침수 피해를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 수행된 기후변화 및 농경지 재배환경 변화 등 복합적인 요인에 의해 발생하는 농경지 침수 피해에 대한 분석을 통하여 추후 기후변화 및 재배환경 변화를 고려한 배수시설물의 효율적인 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Changes in Exhibitions on the History of Balhae in Russian Museums and the Characteristics of Exhibition Narratives - with the focus on the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture "The Vladimir K. Arseniev Museum and Reserve of Far East History" - (러시아 박물관의 발해사 전시 변화와 전시 내러티브의 특징 - 아르세니예프 V.K. 국립극동역사보호지구 통합박물관을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this research is to fill the vacuum created by the tendency of bias towards China among the curators of Korean museums who plan exhibitions focusing on Balhae, and to share with researchers in the countries concerned various supplementary research materials that could deepen their understanding of the history of Balhae. These materials are based on analyses of the details of exhibitions about Balhae held in a particular Russian museum and the characteristics of and changes in the museum's operational policy. Thus, this research focuses mainly on the permanent and special exhibitions held by the Far East History Museum and Reserve, whose collection represents the archaeological achievements of Russia regarding the history of Balhae. The first part of the research focuses on the layout of the exhibitions presented by the museum and the museum's operational policy. It reveals that the museum's permanent exhibitions follow a diachronic arrangement of the local history, while the first and second special exhibitions featured exhibits that were selected from the collections of the Russian Academy of Sciences and arranged according to specific themes. It also examines the museum's policy for operating the exhibitions, focusing on the operational rules, the human resources deployed to run them, and the related educational and PR programs. The second part of the research examines such issues as local politics, economy, education and culture related to the exhibitions on Balhae's history, and connects them to the background and development of the exhibitions. This study reveals that the permanent exhibitions were intended to promote historical awareness of the local area by museum visitors, particularly those who visited the exhibitions while the city was hosting important events such as international summits. It also reveals that the museum's first special exhibition led to the promotion of Korea-Russia cooperation on exchanges in the fields of culture and tourism, whereas the second special exhibition involved no PR efforts or related events, which was probably due to the changes that have occurred in the relationship between Russia and its neighboring countries since then. The final part of the study focuses on the characteristic features of the exhibition narratives, and compares school textbooks on local history and history books for general readers with the contents of the exhibitions. The analysis of the narratives based on the development of time shows that the history of the Mohe (or Malgal) tribes has been combined with that of Balhae, while they are treated separately in school textbooks. As regards political history, the narrative was largely focused on officials in Balhae's central government rather than on Mohe warriors in the border areas. The maps of Balhae presented in the exhibitions highlight the importance of accumulating empirical data. As for the exhibition of material cultures, this study suggests that the museums should obtain more archaeological floral and faunal remains related with agriculture and hunting. It also points out that the narrative on the theme of foreign relations deals with the archaeological relics of Unified Silla together with those of the Turkic tribes. As for the theme of philosophy and culture, the narrative focused on the state ceremonies and rituals of Goguryeo, a theme that has attracted little attention among Korean academic circles and which consequently requires further study. In conclusion, this study is meaningful in that it suggests a number of research topics regarding the development of exhibitions and exhibition narratives about the history of Balhae by a prestigious Russian museum that specializes in this subject.

Hydrogeologic and Hydrogeochemical Assessment of Water Sources in Gwanin Water Intake Plant, Pocheon (포천 관인취수장 수원에 대한 수리지질 및 수리지구화학적 평가)

  • The section from water source to 2.6km upper stream of Hantan River is protected as the drinking water quality protection area according to guidelines of Ministry of Environment, because water source of the Gwanin water intake plant has been known the river. However, opinions were consistently brought up that the standard of water source protection zone must be changed with using underground water as water source because of contribution possibility of underground water as the water source of Gwanin water intake facility. In this regard, hydrogeologic investigation including resistivity survey and hydrogeochemical investigation were carried out to assess water source and infiltration of contaminant for the plant. Quaternary basaltic rocks (50m thick with four layers) covered most of the study area on the granite basement. As the result of the resistivity survey, it is revealed that permeable aquifer is distributed in the boundary of two layers: the basaltic layer with low resistivity; and the granite with high resistivity. Considering of outflow from Gwanin water intake facility, the area possessing underground water was estimated at least $5.7km^2$. The underground water recharged from Cheorwon plain was presumed to outflow along the surface of unconformity plane of basalt and granite. Based on field parameters and major dissolved constituents, groundwater and river water clearly distinguished and the spring water was similar to groundwater from the basaltic aquifer. Temporal variation of $SiO_2$, Mg, $NO_3$, and $SO_4$ concentrations indicated that spring water and nearby groundwater were originated from the basaltic aquifer and other groundwater from granitic aquifer. In conclusion, the spring of the Gwanin water intake plant was distinguished from river water in terms of hydrogeochemical characteristics and mainly contributed from the basaltic aquifer.

교통량에 따른 배기가스량 산정에 관한 연구 -교차로를 중심으로-

  • 현재 서울은 교통사고문제, 교통혼잡문제와 자동차로부터 배출되는 유해가스에 의한 대기환경오염문제를 갖고 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 대기환경오염을 악화시키는 자동차의 주된 배출오염가스인 일산화탄소, 탄화수소 및 질소화합물량을 교차로 교통량을 중심으로 어떻게 계산하는가에 있다. 연구의 대상지역은 서울시의 송파구 교차로들과 도심지역의 링크들을 선택하였다. 그리고 교통량, 지체시간, 링크길이, 정지회수, 운행속도, 주행속도 등을 고려하여, 제작차 배출가스 허용기준, 총량기준, 불량차 기준, 속도기준 등에 의한 계수산정 및 TRAF-NETSIM에 의한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 일정 도로상의 제한된 범위내의 배출량 산출을 시도하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면 첫째, 어느 방법이든 실제배출량의 정확한 값을 표현 할 수는 없는 것이고, 단지 상대적인 비교에 의하면 배출가스량의 수준을 추정 할 수 있었다. 또한, 시뮬레이션 배출율표를 우리 현실에 맞는 자료에 의해 수정할 수 있다면, 그 결과는 실제량에 보다 근접할 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 서울도로의 현재 혼잡상태에서 속도의 저감에 배출량이 민감한 반응을 보이고 있다는 사실이다. 셋째, 교통량변화에 따른 배출량의 변화가 일산화탄소에서 가장 심하게 나타남을 알 수 있었고, 신호운영상의 옵셋값이 잘못 설정되면 탄화수소는 35%, 일산화탄소는 40%, 질소산화물은 75%까지 초과발생할 수 있으며, 유해배출가스량을 최소화시키는 측면에서의 신호최적화를 위해서는 현재의 Stop Penalty는 상향 조정되어야 함이 밝혀졌다. 앞으로는 자동차로 인한 대기환경오염 농도의 저감을 위해서는 도로별 자동차 유해가스 배출 총량규제 방안도 고려해 볼 가치가 있으며, 이를 위해 환경공학과 교통공학의 다학제적 공동연구가 지속적으로 필요하며 교통정책에 반영되어야 할 것이다.분석, 리용수 학모형대이십일세기상해항공운량진행예측, 제출발전상해항공운수적전 략목표급발전중점. 예측2020년 상해항공항총객운탄토량4300만인/년, 화운량달120만돈; 2050년객운량장달18150만인차/년, 화운량518만돈. 사, 발전상해민항기출경제정책, 제출위료$\ll$진흥상해, 개발포동, 복무전국, 면향세계$\gg$ 화도이십일세기중기국민경제달도중등발달국가수 평굉관전략목표적실현, 제료필수재지도사상상파교통운수진정방도전략 산업지위, 환응재관리체제상채취과단유효적개혁조시, 재기출경제정책 상급여대력부지. 오, 전략목표, 위파상해건설성위태평양서안최대적경제, 김융, 무역적중심, 요구상해항공항성위화동지구통향세계각지항선망출발참, 구성대외개방선면축심, 실현국제항선적함접화국내항반적전항, 형성다축심복사식항선망; 가강기장건설, 개피포동제이국제기장건설, 괄응포동개발경제발전적수요. 부화개시일은 각 5월 26일과 5월 22일이었다. 11. 6월 중순에 애벌레를 대상으로 처리한 Phenthoate EC가 96.38%의 방제가로 약효가 가장 우수하였고 3월중순 및 4월중순 월동후 암컷을 대상으로 처리한 Machine oil, Phenthoate EC 및 Trichlorfon WP는 비교적 약효가 낮았다.>$^{\circ}$E/$\leq$30$^{\circ}$NW 단열군이 연구지역 내에서 지하수 유동성이 가장 높은 단열군으로 추정된다. 이러한 사실은 3개 시추공을 대상으로 실시한 시추공 내 물리검층과 정압주입시험에서도 확인된다..   • This study was performed to evaluate the spatial distribution of heavy metals using principal component analysis and Ordinary Kriging technique in the Gangwon Mine site. In the soils from the sub soil, the contents of Zn and Ni in the PC1 were gradually dispersed from south to north direction, while the components of Cd and Hg in the PC2 showed an increase significantly from middle-south area in the Gangwon Mine site. According to the cluster analysis, pollutant metals of As and Cu were presented a strong spatial autocorrelation structure in cluster D. The concentration of As was 0.83mg/kg and shown to increase from the south to north direction. The spatial distribution maps of the soil components using geostatistical method might be important in future soil remediation studies and help decision-makers assess the potential health risk affects of the abandoned mining sites.

Marine Terrace of the Jinha-Ilgwang Area, Southeast Korea (진하-일광 지역의 해안 단구)

  • The southeasternmost coastal area of the Korean peninsula has been regarded as a seismologically stable area as neither Quaternary faults nor earthquake activity has been reported. To clarify whether the active tectonic movement has occurred or not, a digital marine terrace mapping and fracture mapping have been done in the coastal area. Bed rocks are composed of the Cretaceous volcanic and sedimentary rocks and the Paleogene granite. Wave-cut platform in the area is smaller and narrower relative to that of the northern coastal area. Most of the platforms in the area have little Quaternary sediment. The platforms except the Holocene terrace (1 st terrace) can be divided into three steps. The lowest platform (2nd terrace) has an altitude of 8-11 m. The broad middle one (3rd terrace) is 17 to 22 m high. The highest terrace (4th terrace) is a narrow and sporadic bench with an altitude of about 44 m high. The lowest terrace is correlated to the 2nd terrace of the northern area, which corresponds to the oxygen isotopic stage 5a. The uplift rate calculated from a graphic method is 0.19 m/ky. This low uplift is typical of an intra-plate, suggesting that the area is tectonically stable. The elevation of the platforms tends slightly lower from the north to the south in the survey area. The decreasing altitude of the platforms towards the south is interpreted to result from a local block tilting during the Latest Pleistocene. This also indicates that the eastern coast of the Korean peninsula has been suffering a subsidence to the south.

Distribution and Statistical Analysis of Discontinuities in Deep Drillcore (심부시추코어를 활용한 불연속면의 분포 특성 및 통계학적 해석)

  • This study undertook a quantitative analysis of the distribution of fractures in deep drillcore from a Precambrian metamorphic complex on the north face of Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, Korea. The fracture distribution with depth, inclination of fractures, and grain size in the fracture zone were measured and statistical techniques applied to derive probability distributions of fracture intervals. Analysis of the inclination angles of fracture planes showed that sub-horizontal fractures are dominant, and fracture spacing is mainly ≤0.5 m, with a median of 0.09 m, first quartile of 0.04 m, and third quartile of 0.18 m, indicating very dense fracture development. Statistical analysis of joint properties was undertaken with fitting using five probability density functions (double Weibull, exponential, generalized logistic, gamma, and lognormal). The lognormal distribution (sum of squared errors, SSE = 2.80) yielded the best fit based on the sum of residual squares. Quantitative characterization of the fracture characteristics of deep bedrock in the Hongcheon area is important for various geotechnical applications such as groundwater flow modeling, slope stability assessment, and underground structure design. In future studies, it will be necessary to combine in situ stress measurements and geophysical surveys to determine the relationship between fracture development and the local stress field.

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 구제역, 화산, 지진재해 등 장기적이고 광역적인 재해 재난의 심각성을 반영하는 듯 다양한 기술개발과 재난관리 적용성에 관한 연구가 전개되고 있다. 그 가운데 인공위성에 대한 가치와 활용에 대한 기대치가 높아짐에 따라 국내외로 신속한 재난대응 및 광역적 피해지역에 대한 조기분석 등에 관한 다양한 지원체계구축에 대한 연구가 심화되고 있다. 국내에서도 재해 재난에 대한 인공위성의 활용성 및 실무적 대안마련에 대한 검토가 시작되고 있으며, 특히 재해시 영상의 확보 및 분석과 의사결정지원 등 재난관리 프로세스에 대한 정부부처의 활용방안 마련에 대한 기대가 높아지고 있는 가운데 재난총괄기관인 소방방재청은 국립방재연구소에 방재영상분석팀을 신설하였다. 2010년 1월 HAITI 지진피해, 2010년 12월 삼척 산불모니터링, 2011년 1월 포항 폭설피해 등의 재해 재난 분석을 통해 의사결정지원체계를 구축하고 있다. 위성영상 분석기술은 국외기관과 비슷한 실정이나, 본질적으로는 영상촬영 및 수급문제 해소에 있다고 하겠다. 현재, 지구관측센터(KEOC) 및 한국항공우주연구원에서도 이와 같은 수급체계에 대한 문제의식을 공유하고 있다는 점은 재난관리업무 담당자로서 고무적이고 개선에 대한 희망이 밝다. 향후 본 연구를 기반으로 우리나라 재난관리업무에 있어 위성영상을 기반으로 하는 선제적이고 과학적인 재난관리기법이 개발되고 방재분야의 위성영상활용의 위상이 높게 제고 되었으면 한다. 이와 관련하여 본 논문에서는 현재 전 세계적으로 운영되고 있는 인공위성들을 대상으로, 시 공간 해상도별 분포도를 작성하여 인공위성의 특성을 살펴보았다. 특히, 한국항공우주연구원과 소방방재청에서 2010년 10월에 가입한 국제재해관리를 위한 위성영상활용 협력기구인 International Charter에서 재해 재난관련 위성영상 분석 및 현황을 조사하여 재난유형별 활용성을 검토하였다. 마지막으로 조사 분석된 내용을 토대로 위성영상을 통한 재난관리 분야에 적합한 업무 프로세스를 도출하였다. 또한, 재해발생지역에 대한 신속한 위성영상의 확보와 정량적 피해규모 파악에 따른 응급 복구지원이 가능한 대응전략에 대해서 검토하였다.

Generation of Pseudovelocity Section of Block Ⅱ in the Yellow Sea by Seismogram Inversion (탄성파 자료 역산을 통한 황해 2광구 지역의 의속도 단면도의 작성)

  • Seismic reflection data can be used to extract information about the velocity structure of the earth. This process is called a velocity inversion of the seismic data. However, it is difficult to recover a broad band reflection coefficient series because the frequency band of seismic trace is limited. The linear programming method has been examined to find the simplest velocity model that has frequency components consistent with the usable frequencies of the seismic trace and interval velocity data. The velocity structure of the earth is displayed in pseudovelocity section. After the linear program had been tested with a synthetic seismic trace, it was applied to the seismic reflection data of the Block Ⅱ in the Yellow Sea. By comparing the pseudovelocity section with sonic logs obtained from the well in the same area, it was possible to define the lithostratigraphy and the boundaries of Cretaceous volcanics and Cretaceous metavolcanics.

Neogene Uplift in the Korean Peninsula Linked to Small-scaled Mantle Convection at Singking Slab Edge (소규모 맨틀 대류에 의한 한반도의 신제3기 이후 융기 운동)

  • This study provides quantitative constraints on Neogene uplift in the Korean peninsula using onshore paleo-shoreline records and seismic data. The eastern margin of Northeast Asia including Korea sits in the back-arc system behind the Western Pacific Subduction Zone, a complex trench triple junction of the Philippine Sea, Pacific, and Eurasian (Amurian) plates. An analysis of seismic data in the subduction zone shows that the pattern of uplift in the peninsula mirrors the extent of deep seismicity in subducting Pacific plate beneath. Combined with previous tomographic studies it is proposed that uplift is partly driven by asthenospheric upwelling caused by a sinking slab during the Neogene. In addition, the SHmax orientations of E-W and N-S trends in the peninsula are consistent with the prevailing in-situ stress fields in the eastern Eurasian continent generated by various plate boundary forces. The uplift in Korea during the Late Neogene is attributed, in part, to lithospheric failure relating to faulting movements, thus providing a link between dynamic effects of mantle upwelling at sinking slab edge and lithospheric responses driven by plate boundary forces.
