A Study of Soil Characteristics in Coastal Reclaimed Areas for Planting Ground Treatment (임해매립지에서 식재기반 조성을 위한 토양특성에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 임해매립지에서 토양의 화학적 특성을 조사하여 수목식재를 위한 합리적인 토양관리에 관한 자료를 얻고자 수행하였다. 토양조사는 시화매립지의 시흥공단에서 녹지조성 예정지를 중심으로 토지이용별 및 토심별로 실시되었다. 조사지역에서 개흙은 전기전도도와 치환성나트륨 백분율이 높은 염류알칼리성 토양 특징을 갖고있었다. 임해매립지에서 토양 pH 평균값은 7.8~5.7범위이었고, 주거/공단 완충녹지 토양에서 전기전도도와 치환성나트륨 백분율은 각각 3.76Sm-1와 35%로 조사지역 중에 가장 높았다. 토양 50cm 깊이에서 치환성 Na+의 평균함량은 1.76~2.80cmol+/kg으로 조사되었고, 치환성 Na+의 평균함량은 치환성 Ca2+보다는 낮았으나 치환성 Mg2+과 K+보다는 높았다. 토심별 염분농도는 50cm보다 100cm 깊이에서 높게 조사되었으며, 주거/공단 완충녹지는 전토심에서 염분농도가 수목에 영향을 주기에 충분할 정도로 높았다.

  • 지난 2008년 11월 중앙정부와 팔당수계 7개 시 군은 수질보전과 더불어 지역사회의 개발을 위해 2008년 '수질오염총량관리제도'(이하 오총제)의 의무제 도입을 합의하였다. 오총제의 의무제 도입에 따라 수행되어야 할 각 유역별 토지이용 특성 분석 및 배출되는 오염물질의 정도의 명확한 규명이 이루어지지 않고 있기 때문에 유역관리의 방향 설정이 어려운 상황에 놓여있다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 농도규제에서 좀 더 과학적 수질관리 기법인 총량관리 개념의 '수질오염 총량관리제도'의 도입에 따라 효율적이며 과학적인 소유역 관리를 위해, 토지이용과 오염물질 유출 간의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 대상유역은 앞서 언급한 7개 시 군의 각각 주요 하천 3개소를 선정하여 총 21개소를 2009년 6월부터 12월까지 7개월 동안 월 3회씩 BOD 및 COD를 모니터링하였다. 또한 그 유역을 전수조사를 통해 토지이용도를 조사하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면, 토지이용에 따른 산림지역이 가장 많은 지역은 가평군 남양주시로 나타났고, 도시 및 주거지가 많은 지역은 여주군, 용인시 및 이천시이며, 농지가 많은 지역은 양평군 여주군으로 나타났다. COD 및 BOD의 배출 정도는 농지와 도시 및 주거지가 많은 지역에서 높은 수준(p<$0.05^*$)으로 나타났으며, 특히 도시 및 주거지가 많은 유역에서 그 정도가 더욱 심각한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 반하여 임지의 토지 이용률이 증가할수록 BOD 및 COD 평균농도는 감소하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001).

  • This study aimed to examine and compare housing conditions and satisfaction degree of working college students in Seoul metropolitan area, depending on their stress level from economic burden and living housing type. The interview using the questionnaire was conducted. The subjects were 199 working college students aged between 19 and 35. The two-tier cluster sampling method were used, the region and representative university within the region. The comparison of satisfaction degree per type of housing of working college students has been conducted to find 3 characteristic patterns of satisfaction degree per housing condition from the stress of preparing the fund for rent, and students with high degree of stress from arranging rent showed relatively low degree of satisfaction in most items. 6 patterns have been identified in terms of housing types, and most of the students living in the Gosiwon, the poorest condition and housing type, showed the lowest degree of satisfaction, while those residing in the officetel turned out to the most satisfied. This study gives implications of housing welfare for working college students.

  • 엘리뇨, 라니냐 등의 기상 이변과 해수 온도 상승으로 인해 더욱 빈번하게 발생하고 있는 국지성 집중 호우 및 돌발홍수는 각 유역 특성별 수문 기초자료의 축적 및 분석을 더욱 필요로 하게 되었다. 또한, 수문자료는 시간과 공간에 따른 큰 변동성을 가지고 있어 규명하기 복잡한 수문현상으로 산악지역이 많은 우리나라의 지형학적 특성과 최근의 호우특성 등으로 인하여 이러한 변동성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 특히 홍수시 큰 피해를 가져오는 도시지역의 수문 모니터링이 부족한 실정을 고려한다면 도시하천별, 소배수구역별 수문 관측 및 자료 분석이 절실하다. 우리나라 주거지역의 토지이용 형태를 반영하는 과학적이고 체계적인 도시하천 수문 모니터링시스템 운영 및 자료 축적, 제공이 필요하다. "도시홍수재해관리기술연구사업단"에서는 도시하천 유역의 수문현상 규명을 위한 기초 정보 축적을 위해 중랑천 유역에 시험배수구역(신내1 배수구역, 군자 배수구역, 어린이대공원 배수구역)을 운영하여 수문 관측 및 자료 분석을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 합류식 하수관거를 통해 유출되는 유량자료를 주간별, 요일별로 분석하여 일일 하수량의 경향을 분석하였다. 주로 상가지역 및 주택지역으로 구성되어 있는 군자 배수구역을 대상으로 하였다. 이를 통해 도시하수 유출의 특성 분석이 가능하며 하수관거 관리 대책 수립에 유용한 자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

A study on the spatial mismatch by income and regional characteristics (지역 특성에 따른 소득별 직주불일치에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to test the spatial mismatch hypothesis by exploring the relationship between income and commuting time in Seoul, Korea. For this purpose, we analyze the commuting times of individuals who commute to Seoul, using the data for the metropolitan household survey. We employed a hierarchial linear model(HLM) to capture the effects of both individual attributes and regional attributes, and their interactions. The results show that the commuting time decreases with household income controlling for the regional attributes, and the effect of income increases with the housing price of the location of a commuter's firm. This implies that the spatial mismatch holds for Seoul as follows: Lower personal income and housing affordablility extend individuals' commuting times, and the destinations' characteristics such as housing type and land use also have impacts on commuting time. These results have some policy implications for achieving social equity in terms of spatial structure of the city.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the residential location preference factors by households' characteristics in the case of Seoul metropolitan area households. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, residential location factors most preferred by Seoul metropolitan area households are accessibility of public transportation, followed by security and living environment. Therefore, we can see Seoul metropolitan area households prefer amenity and quality of life as residential location factors. Secondly, according to the results of AHP by age and household income, the residential location factors Seoul metropolitan area households prefer are different by age and household income. Thirdly, according to the results of comparative analysis between the case of Seoul metropolitan area and Daegu Gyeongbuk households, Seoul metropolitan area households more prefer safety and quality of life, on the other hand, Daegu Gyeongbuk households more prefer investment value of housing.

A Study on the Distributional Characteristics and the Actual Use Condition of Public Open Spaces (공공공지 분포특성과 이용실태에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the present use condition of 145 public open spaces which have not been executed in the Busan Metropolitan City Area. The unexcused public open spaces are analyzed by the zoning, size, shape type and the development planning. First, in terms of the distribution rate by zoning, it is found that the majority of unexecuted public open spaces are located in residential area, especially in the third general residential area. Second, the most shape types are linear forms and the next are indeterminate form and fixed types. Lastly, just a few of the unexecuted public open spaces have the development plan and those are mostly to create a small park or rest area.

A Study on the Effect of Urban Housing Reform on Chinese Urban Housing Poverty (중국의 주택상품화 과정이 주거 빈곤에 미친 영향)

  • China is in the process of carrying out socialist planned economic system and capitalist market economic system along with its reforms and opening. In the process, the problem of poverty is surfacing along with the commercialization of housing. In this study, we've analyzed China's social security system through literature at home and abroad based on the concept of place poverty, and have pointed out the characteristics and problems of Chinese urban housing reform centered around what we've identified. Furthermore, we've divided up China into 8 zones, and have examine the characteristic of each area by population & social index, economic index, and housing index. As a result of analysis, the process of urban housing reform had an effect on housing poverty, and appeared to have different characteristics by zone. In this study, since China's situation by area is very diverse, it presents a point that we must approach with not a monistic method but a pluralistic method regarding housing policy.

A Study on The Change of Public Housing Survey (공공 주거실태조사의 변화 양상에 관한 연구)

  • Korea has undergone a rapid urbanization and housing supply process, which has resulted in continuous changesin the indicators required for housing policy. As a result, the items and classification system of the housing survey have not yet been established, which necessitates analyzing the changes of Korean housing survey and discussing the development direction. However, it is difficult to find such research and analysis in the literature. Therefore, this study analyzed the changes in the content and quantity of survey items in housing surveys and similar public surveys. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, interest in the characteristics of residents is increasing in the long term. Second, the residential movement items closely related to the demand of the residential areas are decreasing. Third, questions related to the housing policy of the time appeared and disappeared. However, items related to housing policy are on the decline. This study is meaningful in that it analyzed the housing survey which has lacked interest.

Diversification of Urban Regeneration Projects by Regional Characteristics (지역별 특성을 반영한 도시재생사업 다각화 방안)

  • This study focused on urban regeneration projects to diversify projects methods. Since the enactment of legal redevelopment projects, they were concentrated on improving the physical environment and supplying housings. In this article, 12 cities' urban regeneration policies and projects will be examined to point out the characteristics of each regions via documentary studies and interview investigations. They could be divided into 3 groups by population and region. Finally, this article is intended to propose diversified regeneration methods depending on the regions and to address implications on the regeneration policies.
