21세기 지식정보화 사회를 당면하면서 정치, 경제, 문화 등의 환경이 다양한 형태로 급속히 변하고 있다. 다양한 형태의 정보를 적절한 기술을 이용하여 보다 효율적으로 수집하고 이를 신속하고 정확하게 분석하여 합리적인 의사결정을 하여야 하는데 사회변화의 속도가 급변함에 따라 당면한 문제들의 해결과 미래의 정보 수요에 부응하기 위한 핵심 기술로서 GIS는 정보화시대에서 무엇보다 정보시스템의 구축을 위한 계획 수립이 절실하게 되었다. 이러한 지리정보시스템에 동영상데이터의 연계기능을 더하여 영상을 기반으로 직접 사용자와 상호작용을 하며 데이터를 분석, 관리, 출력하는 동영상지리정보시스템(Video Geographic Information System: Video GIS)이 GIS 분야에 있어 새로운 연구 분야로 떠오르고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사회변화의 속도가 급변하는 도시기반시설물들을 효율적으로 개발, 관리하고 비행선촬영시스템을 통하여 취득된 동영상 자료를 객체추적 알고리즘에 의해 데이터의 양을 줄였다. 수치지도와 동영상데이터의 공간정보를 연계시켜 도시지역에 존재하는 각종 시설물을 관리할 수 있는 동영상 정보시스템을 Prototype으로 구축하여 그 가능성을 제시하였다.

자동차 사고 재구성이란 사고 상황으로부터 가능한 모든 정보를 수집, 분석하여 사고 거동 및 원인을 규명하는 작업을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 자동차 사고 재구성에 직접 적용이 가능하도록 개발된 범용성의 정성적 충돌 전문가 시스템의 Prototype을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 충돌 전 물체의 운동 방향과 공간에서의 정보가 주어졌을 때, 충돌로 인한 물체의 순간적인 운동을 정성적으로 예측한다. 분야 모델은 정성적 충돌 이론과 정성적 계산을 제공하는 정성적 수학의 지식 베이스로 구성된다. 충돌로 인한 물체의 운동을 해석하는 데 있어, 충돌 전 물체의 운동 방향과 충돌시의 기하학적 배치사이의 상호 작용을 분석하는 것이 그 핵심을 이루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그 상호 작용을 밝혀 내어 정성적 표현 방식에 의거하여 해석하는 충돌 이론을 소개하였다. 추론 기관을 설계하는데 있어서는 동력학 정보뿐만 아니라 공간 정보를 추론하기 위한 기법이 제시되었다.

장면 그래프는 영상 내 물체들의 정보를 나타내는 지식 그래프이다. 본 논문에서는 3차원 공간에서 에이전트의 탐색을 통해, 장면 그래프를 생성하는 모델을 제안한다. 3차원 공간에 대한 장면 그래프는 물체들의 위치, 종류, 속성뿐만 아니라 물체들 간의 관계 정보를 포함한다. 이에 따라 장면 그래프는 다양한 문제 해결에 기초 데이터로써 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문은 장면 그래프를 생성하기 위해 필요한 기능들을 정의하고, 기능에 따라 4가지 부분 네트워크들을 제안한다. 또한 각 부분 네트워크들의 학습 및 성능 평가를 위해, 3차원 실내 가상환경인 AI2-THOR에서 데이터들을 수집하였고, 다양한 실험을 통해 각 부분 네트워크들의 성능을 검증하였다.

영상이나 비디오에 담긴 장면을 이해하는 것은 컴퓨터 비전의 궁극적인 목표 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 입력 영상으로부터 장면을 구성하는 각 물체들과 그들 간의 공간 관계, 개별 물체들의 다양한 속성들을 탐지해, 지식 그래프를 생성해주는 심층 신경망 기반의 물체 속성 및 공간 관계 탐지 모델을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 다양한 복합 시각 인식 작업을 동시에 수행하는 탐지 모델의 구성에 대해 설명하고, 대규모 벤치마크 데이터 집합인 CLEVR을 이용한 탐지 모델의 성능 분석 실험 결과를 소개한다.

인터페이스가 제한된 단말에서 정보 검색 서비스를 제공하는 경우, 검색 재현율보다는 정확도가 중요하다. 데이터를 쉽게 구조화할 수 있고 검색 정확도가 중요한 한정된 도메인에서는 시맨틱 검색 기술을 통해 강력한 정보 검색 서비스를 제공할 수 있지만, 사용자 키워드 질의를 시스템 질의로 변환하는 과정에서 다양한 해석들이 존재할 수 있기에 개선의 여지도 많다. 본 논문에서는 해석 정확도와 확장성을 동시에 향상시키기 위한 새로운 모델을 제안한다. 제안 모델은 공간의 구조와 요소들의 해석을 제한함으로써 중간 탐색 공간의 크기를 점진적으로 줄이면서 사용자의 검색 의도는 가능한 보존할 수 있다. 실제 데이터로 이루어진 대용량 지식을 이용해 다른 최신 기술과 비교하여 실험적 평가를 제시하였다.

This paper proposes the two algorithms which generate a minimal decision rule and approximate inference operation, adapted the rough set and the factor space theory in fuzzy knowledge base. The generation of the minimal decision rule is executed by the data classification technique and reduct applying the correlation analysis and the Bayesian theorem related attribute factors. To retrieve the specific object, this paper proposes the approximate inference method defining the membership function and the combination operation of t-norm in the minimal knowledge base composed of decision rule. We compare the suggested algorithms with the other retrieval theories such as possibility theory, factor space theory, Max-Min, Max-product and Max-average composition operations through the simulation generating the object numbers and the attribute values randomly as the memory size grows. With the result of the comparison, we prove that the suggested algorithm technique is faster than the previous ones to retrieve the object in access time.

Recently, the volume of knowledge information in the form of electronic media is quickly increasing in the library field along with the advancement of electronic communication technology. Libraries have both printed data and electronic data and are faced with the issue of corresponding with the access and use of knowledge information in terms of the space. This study is for building the layout of a sustainable knowledge information space based on the view that the library is the official infrastructure of the knowledge information based society. It is intended to analyze the meaning of knowledge information in the modern society, characteristics in the spatial organization and the transmission of knowledge information. The goal of this study is to understand and forecast the spatial structure where users access knowledge information and exchange with one another and developing the direction and guidelines for the spatial plan that today's libraries prefer through this analysis. For this, this study firstly prepared the base for the research on library space which can be considered as the physical realization of such concepts, through the theoretical review about the knowledge information and social concepts as well as characteristics of modern society. Also, it seized the characteristics in the transmission of knowledge information by conducting a structural analysis of the information service such as knowledge information and space, space and information media, space and space through the cases of 10 public libraries. The analysis resulted in basic data including the system of organizing knowledge information, system of knowledge information transferring elements and structure, and layout pattern of each library. These results are deemed meaningful for the promotion of communication with the user through the exchange, creation, and experience of knowledge information, the social role of today's public library.

The method of distributing some questionnaires to the total 4 schools in the area of Gwang-ju city and then collect them later has been used in this study. By using the coefficient of Cronbach's alpha for the collected data, the trust rate of the method of questionnaires have been verified. In conclusion it's been analized that there are disparities in 'computer education course, professor lesson, possibility of computer use, teaching obstacles, self development of teachers, choice and organization of the computer education contents' according to the general situation of the teachers who charge computer education sand there are also disparities in 'goal of computer education, computer curriculum related learning activity, computer curriculum related learning satisfaction, practical use of computer facility, interested contents of students, other lessons besides regular education course' according to the general situation of the students who receive computer education in commercial high school.

This study was conducted with the purpose of providing suggestions for improvement through a comparison and analysis of the services of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the world's largest medical library, and the National Center for Medical Information and Knowledge, Korea's national medical library. Core services that need to be improved are topic-specific services, community services, services by user type, educational services, technology, facility/space services, research support services, and marketing and public relations and cooperation services. Specialized libraries are also increasingly interested in topic-specific services and public services. Efficiency in access through services for each type of user is needed, and various types of educational services that do not limit the target audience are also needed. Marketing through AI, virtual reality, and technology, facility, and space services to support the disabled, research support services centered on research ethics, research grants, and programs, and collaborative services with domestic and international libraries, academic societies, institutions, and local communities in other related fields and publicity are also needed.

The purpose of this study is to suggest for future public libraries in the knowledge information society. The development of Internet requires to change the role of information service in public libraries, and the change of social circumstance requires the role of public libraries as cultural spaces. For the future public libraries, the suggestions are that public libraries provide an instruction for users in order to got information through Internet. Next, public libraries provide comfortable safe, luxury space in order to create regional culture so that users can get experience high culture, and use the space as cultural living zone.
