  • The study in this paper considers how high school students' attitudes toward and interest in mathematics could be promoted by conjoining the learning of ma thematics with the learning of social science topics. Survey instrument was dev eloped to measure student attitudes toward mathematics and social science subje cts and to evaluate student beliefs on learning mathematics embedded in social science topics. Data were collected from high school students in Korea by admi nistering pre- and post-tests: students were intervened with examples of math problems embedded in certain social contexts. The findings indicate that high sc hool students' experience of solving mathematics problems embedded in social c ontexts positively affects the promotion of their attitudes toward and beliefs on both mathematics and social science subjects.

  • The creative economy is the industrialization era, the information age, knowledge-based economy, linking the new economic paradigm. The core words of the creative economy are stand for creativity, innovation, consumer protection and utilization of intellectual property. Creative ideas are combined with software technology will make innovative ecosystem-based structured market such as Apple, Google, Facebook. Intangible assets attributable to creativity than ever before in human history that is important as the economic value. In addition, innovative ideas, creativity and economic growth beyond the knowledge and information society is required. Because the core has a fusion of science and technology, industry, culture and industry convergence, various genres of creative activity support, and cultural and high-tech fusion industries, such as content creation and job creation through economic traction is needed. In this study, we analyze the case of the US Smithsonian Institution proposes the direction of Science Museum in creative workforce.

  • Our society is showing rapid growth throughout the industry, but it is in the era of nuclear family and aging. Due to the elderly, the demand for social welfare services such as medical treatment services tends to increase sharply. However, duties of senior citizens and social workers engaged in related medical care facilities are not clearly identified, and job stress has occurred and the degree of job satisfaction is extremely low. Therefore, in this paper, in relation to the social worker's duties of elderly nursing home care facilities, in practicing welfare services, knowledge base that was convergence with duties so that you can focus on service according to better environment and standardized procedures To provide a management system. Through the proposed system, social workers are expected to be able to improve work satisfaction by quickly grasping operations and escaping from job stress through their own development and information sharing.

A Convergence Study on Effects of Nutrition Knowledge, Dietary Habits, and Dietary Self-Efficacy on Dietary Behavior in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 영양지식, 식이 자기효능감 및 식습관이 식행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 융합연구)

  • This study is a descriptive study to identify nutritional knowledge, diet self‐efficacy and dietary habits of nursing college students and to investigate the factors affecting their dietary behavior. Data collection was conveniently sampled from June 18 to June 20, 2018, for 123 second‐year students at two University located in G City. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t‐test, ANOVA, Scheff, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS 20 program. In the results of the study, factors affecting the dietary behavior of the subjects were found to be school life satisfaction, overeating and snacks frequency, and diet self‐efficacy (adjusted R2=0.48, F=10.28, p<.001). The results of this study have implications that based on factors affecting dietary behavior of nursing students, nursing intervention programs should be developed to promote diet self‐efficacy and to be able to develop healthy dietary habits.

  • In this paper, we propose the algorithms of processing the uncertainty data using data fusion for the next generation intrusion detection. In the next generation intrusion detection, a lot of data are collected by many of network sensors to discover knowledge from generating information in cyber space. It is necessary the data fusion process to extract knowledge from collected sensors data. In this paper, we have proposed method to represent the uncertainty data, by classifying where is a confidence interval in interval of uncertainty data through feature analysis of different data using inference method with Dempster-Shafer Evidence Theory. In this paper, we have implemented a detection experiment that is classified by the confidence interval using IRIS plant Data Set for anomaly detection of uncertainty data. As a result, we found that it is possible to classify data by confidence interval.
