현재의 컴퓨팅 환경은 멀티미디어와 인터넷, 즉 웹 환경으로 요약된다. 이러한 환경에서 운영되는 복잡한 정보 시스템-인터넷 TV 방송, 문서 관리시스템, 가상 대학, 그룹 웨어, 지식 경영 시스템 등은 대용량의 데이터베이스 데이터와 멀티미디어 데이터를 기반으로 해서 동작한다. 이러한 시스템들에서의 데이터은 데이터 베이스 내에 존재하는 메타 데이터와 운영체제의 파일 시스템 내에 존재하는 파일 데이터로 나뉜다. 이러한 데이터의 분리로 인해서 나타나는 가장 큰 문제점은 이 둘 데이터 사이의 불일치성(inconsistency)이다. 이는 멀티미디어 데이터와 데이터베이스 데이터를 접근해서 사용하는 기능(operation)의 차이로 인해서 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 복잡한 정보시스템에서 사용되어 지는 데이터들 사이에 발생되는 불일치성을 해결하며, 쉬운 프로그램밍을 위한 응용 프로그래밍 인터페이스(ATI)를 제공해주는 AEM(Activity Execution Manager) 프레임워크를 설계 및 구현한다.

인터넷과 멀티미디어 기술의 급속한 성장에 따라 웹을 기반으로 한 전자상거래가 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 구매자들은 보다 합리적이고 현명해졌고 또한 개성화 경향의 심화로 구매자 자신에 맞는 특별한 서비스를 원하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 대부분의 전자상거래 서비스는 구매자가 물건의 모습이나 사양을 보고 선택하는 상품 카탈로그 수준의 상태에 있다. 구매자의 욕구를 만족시키기 위해서는 단순한 상품정보를 제시하는 것에서 벗어나 판매점원의 지식을 이용한 판매점원 에이전트가 필요하다. 이러한 판매점원 에이전트를 이용하면 고객은 상품 탐색 시간을 급격히 줄일 수 있고 구매자 취향에 맞는 쇼핑을 할 수가 있으며 판매자 입장에서는 차별화 된 고객관리를 할 수가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실제 상점에서 존재하는 판매점원의 일을 대신해 주는 사이버상의 판매점원을 지능형 에이전트, 즉 지능형 판매점원 에이전트(ISCA : Intelligent Sale Clerk Agent)를 이용하여 구매자의 취향에 적합한 상품들을 쇼핑할 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

본 논문은 지식경제부 한국산업기술평가관리원의 LED시스템조명 기술개발사업(10042947, 멀티센서 기반의 데이터 통신모듈과 드라이버 IC/프로세서 제어부품 등을 탑재한 200cc 이하의 LED 시스템조명 기술개발) 연구사업의 일환으로 작성되었음. 세계 각국은 자국의 안정적인 에너지 공급과 저탄소 녹색성장을 위해 장 단기적인 정책을 다양하게 펼치고 있다. 그 중 고효율, 친환경 광원인 LED는 국가의 에너지 정책 추진의 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. LED 조명은 기존 백열등 형광등 할로겐을 대체 할뿐만 아니라 휴대전화, 자동차, BLU(Back Light Unit) 등 다양한 분야에 적용할 수 있기 때문에 시장잠재력이 크다. 본고에서는 미국, 유럽, 중국, 일본의 LED 조명산업 관련 정책을 살펴보고 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

In Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), tacit knowledge which is usually possessed as forms like know-how, experiences, and etc. is hard to be systemized while managing explicit knowledge is comparatively easy using information technology such as databases, Recent researches in knowledge management have shown that it is more applicable in many ways to provide expert search mechanisms in KMS to pinpoint experts in the organizations with searched expertise so that users can contact them for help, In this paper, we propose an intelligent expert search framework to provide search capabilities for experts in similar or related fields according to the user's needs. In enabling intelligent expert searches, Fuzzy Abstraction Hierarchy (FAH) framework has been adopted, through' which finding experts with similar or related expertise is possible according to the subject field hierarchy defined in the system. To test applicability and practicality of the proposed framework, the prototype system, Knowledge Portal for Researchers in Science and Technology, was developed.

The purpose of this study is to improve the academic information flow systems in university environment. The study explored various aspects of academic research flow systems, such as national standards and rules for digital library of electronic theses and dissertations, and national information infrastructure for digital data collection, management flow system through networks. Based on the analysis of current situations, the study developed the procedures and systems for digitalizing, collecting, processing, archiving, and providing of graduate research works.

National libraries are responsible for acquiring and conserving copies of all significant publications and digital information published or produced in the country. To accomplish this, the library director should perform these duties based on professionalism in the library and information system. Nevertheless, the former directors of the National Library of Korea did not have professional knowledge nor management careers in the library and information system field. This paper suggests various ways to strengthen and ensure the professionalism of the national library director in terms of an open position system, executive agency system, political appointees, and special incorporation.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 실현 가능성이 높아지면서 Automatic identification and Data Capture(AIDC)에 대한 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. AIDC 기술 중 하나인 Radio Frequency IDentification(RFID)는 라디오 주파수에 따라 반응하는 태그를 이용하여 사람이나 사물을 인식하는 기술이다. 또한 RFID 특성을 지원하면서 발생 이벤트를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 다양한 미들웨어가 개발되고 있다. 그러나 미들웨어의 지원에도 불구하고 RFID 시스템 개발자는 많은 부가적 지식을 알아야만 한다. 이 점을 해결하여 RFID 기술을 편리하게 사용하도록 돕는 Business Aware Framework(BizAF)이 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 BizAF를 기반으로 여러 애플리케이션을 개발한 경험을 바탕으로 RFID 비즈니스 이벤트들을 생성하기 위한 모델링 프로세스를 제시하고자 한다.

Korean railway network GIS-based information system requires so much cost and time. One of the difficulties is due to the fact that GIS-based information system requires the feature database for GIS, which is generally built manually from many as-built drawing files. In order to build-up database automatically Using GPS coordinates, this study suggests the automatic data conversion from electronic drawings to make feature database for GIS. The proposed method can be applied to build large-scale railway facility management system.

컴퓨터가 자연 언어를 이해하기 위해 가장 필요로 하는 것은 단어에 대한 정보다. 단어는 문장 안에서 나름대로의 정보를 지니고 사용된다. 사람들이 실제 생활에서 사용하는 문장을 대량으로 모아 둔 것을 말뭉치(Corpus)라 한다. 그러므로, 단어가 인간 언어 생활에서 사용되면서 지니는 정보를 찾기 위해서는 말뭉치를 들여다보는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 문장이 갖고 있는 정보 중 많은 것을 표현할 수 있는 언어, VAR를 설계한다. 그리고 말뭉치를 VAR로 표현해서 관리하면서 언어학자 및 전산학자가 좋은 지식 기반(Knowledge Base)를 만들 수 있는 기초를 제공한다.

CM services have continued to grow since the establishment of CM policies in 1997. Recently, strategies for overseas CM services have widely been discussed, because the CM services have expected synergy with planning, engineering, procurement and construction. However, there has been lack of quantitative and comprehensive research to investigate CM trends and prospects. In this sense, the purpose of this research is to statistically analyze total of 2,983 CM service contracts over the past 16 years (between 1997 and 2013) published in KISCON (Knowledge Information System of Construction Industry) in order to examine current status and future direction of CM industry.
