  • 정보 인프라를 기반으로 지식경영의 패러다임이 전개되고 있는 시점에서 지식의 생성 및 활용에 많은 연구가 진행되어지고 있다. 그러나 지식 창출 및 활용에 대한 뚜렷한 방법론 및 효율적인 지식관리모델의 부재로 개발된 지식관리시스템이 해당 지식의 적극적인 생성 및 활용을 유도할 수 없었다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 인터넷 기술을 활용하여 연구분야의 연구지식관리시스템 개발의 효과적인 방법론을 제시하고 제시된 방법에 따른 시스템 개발과 2년 간의 시범운영을 통해 문제점을 발견하고 그 해결 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 지식관리시스템은 기업들의 생산성을 높이기 위해 사내보유 지식을 획득, 관리하여 후속 업무 처리에 적극 활용하도록 지원하는 시스템이다. 현재 지식관리시스템들에서는 정형적 지식에 대한 추출은 잘 이루어지고 있으나, 조직원들의 암묵지에 대해서는 자발적 등록을 유도하는 보상제도 등의 방법에 의존하고 있다. 본 논문은 업무를 진행함과 동시에 조직원으로부터 지식을 의무적으로 획득할 수 있는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 또한 지식을 온톨로지 기반으로 표현함으로써 지식을 단지 설명하는 차원의 지식베이스를 구축하는 것이 아니라 새로운 지식을 추론할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • Knowledge Management is presented as the management method having the survival and competition of enterprise under variously changing management environment. Knowledge Management is introduced recently as successful survival strategy of advanced enterprise. Scientifically, however, the definition. study model and propulsion method of KM leave much to be desired, and now it has become the subjects of active study among scholars. To creation of the competitive power of the company have to be important knowledge based continuous innovation. That is to say, the knowledge management means a lot to knowledge assets included knowledge, knowledge creating, sharing, and acting This study aims to propose models on the research result based a case study of the financial industry in knowledge creating processes(SECI) and deriving knowledge management styles in the flied works of the bank.

온톨로지 기반의 지식맵 서비스 시스템의 설계 및 구현

  • 지식관리시스템의 지식 분류 체계가 지식맵이며 이 지식맵을 이용하여 지식 서비스가 제공된다. 그러나 현재의 지식맵은 비표준적인 지식 네트웍 구조와 정적인 분류체계라는 문제를 가진다. 문제 해결 방법은 지식맵에 온틀로지를 적용해서 표준성, 의미 기반의 지식 네트웍 구조. 동적인 지식분류, 자동화된 지식서비스를 제공하는 새로운 개념의 지식맵을 구현하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 토픽맵 모델을 기반으로 온톨로지를 생성, 저장, 검색하는 효율적인 온톨로지 관리 시스템인 K-Box를 구현하였다. K-Box는 온톨로지 관리를 위한 기본적인 기능들을 제공하며, 이질적인 저장소들을 일관된 인터페이스로 접근할 수 있도록 함으로써 저장 장치 독립성을 제공하였다. 또한, 저장 관리되는 모든 온톨로지들의 무결성을 보장하기 위한 새로운 기법과 사용자 관심을 중심으로 한 온톨로지 검색 지원을 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로, 우리는 여러 온톨로지들을 적용해 봄으로써 K-Box 시스템이 효율적으로 사용 가능함을 확인하였다.

A Bottom-up Approach Based Knowledge Management System for Construction Organizations (건설조직을 위한 상향식 접근방식의 지식관리시스템 구축)

  • Knowledge management (KM) has been considered to be an effective means of learning from past projects to effect continuous performance improvement in the construction industry. Despite the growing importance of KM in the construction industry, the usage and effectiveness of IT tools for implementing KM are limited to some extent. Case studies of current KM practices in Korean construction sectors revealed that the chief causes of this problem are the top-down approach of the current practices. To address this challenging issue, this research proposes bottom-up approach, which motivates knowledge creation by shifting the ownership of contents, and facilitates effective reuse of knowledge by providing rich contextual information.

Design of Knowledge Information Transfer Method in Groups (집단 내의 지식 정보 전수 방법의 설계)

  • Recently, various methods derived from the experiences and the practices to manage knowledge have been proposed. However, the effects of the most of those methods have not been demonstrated quantitatively, but only the successful cases reported. In this paper, a method for knowledge transfer in a group is proposed to evaluate the effect of knowledge management and to express a shape that knowledge is transferred in the group by the multi-agent simulation. Simulation results show that the performance of the entire group is improved by introducing a knowledge database and a knowledge manager. In addition, the experience knowledge of the entire group is shown to be lost by reviewing results of the social issues by the proposed method. As a countermeasure for that, it was confirmed that the introduction of the knowledge database and the knowledge manager is more effective than those of an extension of the retirement age and of an increase of the intermediate recruitment.

A Review of Empirical Research on Knowledge Management Activities in Public Organizations (정부기관 지식관리활동에 대한 실증연구 경향)

  • This is to review all empirical research articles on knowledge management activities in Korean government agencies. Analyzed were forty six articles published in some major journals for the last decade. The results of analysis show that they mainly focused on such topics as what factors have statistically significant influences upon the knowledge-based activities and whether knowledge activities have achieved the intended performance. More research attentions have been paid upon both knowledge sharing and knowledge creation activities. Most of the empirical studies are dependent upon hypotheses testing, data collection in questionnaire, and the use of multivariate statistical methods. Some suggestions for future research are to do research on more diverse topics, to utilize various research methods, and to make an integrated approach to the knowledge management.

  • For using the knowledge of experts diversely and efficiently, it is very important that the system could represent the complex knowledge in well structured manner and also adapt well to the frequent schema changes. In this paper, we propose an efficient method for knowledge base management by using XML based templates. In our proposed method, to solve the inefficiency of management of many XML documents, we represent the complex knowledge on XML-based templates, and manage the templates structurally by using a meta-template that defines relationship among the templates. In order to show the effectiveness of our method, we developed a knowledge base to formulate an exercise prescription for a subject and an application program to classify the subject's fitness. The experimental study shows that XML-based templates provide a flexible, extensible and structured way of representing expert knowledge. The inference using XML-based templates can be controlled systematically and efficiently by using meta-template.

  • Nowadays knowledge is begging to supplant the traditional factors of production and has become the most important new corporate and competitive resource. Many construction firms have been trying to perform Knowledge management, and implement Knowledge Management System. For successful KMS, a company should check the exiting infrastructures which includes resources and knowledge which an organization already may have in place, their culture, and processes and adopt the proper approach according to their own business requirement. This study defined the knowledge life-cycle and proposed management knowledge method of construction field with KMS.
