The purpose of this study is to examine how the $Dong-A$ $Ilbo$, a prevailing newspaper in Korea, has constructed 5.18 discourse. In the last thirty years or so in Korea, '5.18(the Gwangju Democratization Movement)', in both academic and social realm, has been one of the most disputed issues in the process of political change. However, little attention has been given to this topic in the field of communication study. Thus, we attempted to illuminate the construction of 5.18 dicourse by using terms analysis and discourse analysis of editorials during the period of May 18, 1980-December 31, 2010. From the study, it is found that the use of terms has changed from 'crisis' through 'resistance', 'slaughter', 'revolt' to 'democratization movement' in the $Dong-A$ $Ilbo$. And it is also found that 5.18 discourse has been developed in the order of 'tragic incident discourse', 'truth investigation discourse', 'rehabilitation discourse', 'deferment discourse', 'punishment discourse', 'political strife discourse' in the editorials of the $Dong-A$ $Ilbo$. These shifts of terms and discourse have been mostly led by socio-political changes. Based on the research results, the central characteristics of 5.18 discourse of the Korean mainstream press were elaborated and the implications of the results were discussed.

As a society gets digitalized, world of simulation will expand. The world of simulation is a forced, human-making world where we are going on our lives. It is power that dominates human beings. It is a main discourse producing forces. We are using violence to ourselves to escape this forcing phenomenon. Cindy Sherman is being paid attention as an artist who expresses physical human being in the world of simulation - human who desires something, is sacrificed by violence and is using violence to himself. She is casting a question about the violence of power in the world - who are you right now in the border between the real world and the fake one? - Her method is by various symbols: masks and makeup in her works, human desires and violent realities in symbolic packages. Only when we see the world as flesh, that is a specific body, not as separated organs, can this world be something we can feel. This world is something simulacre and at the same time is bearing violence in it. She sacrifices herself to violence to avoid the very violence. This behavior is to refine or avoid gigantic violence. She is saying that the others' pains, birth and death of flowers are not only theirs but also ours.

In this study, We examined the dual path model in which entitlement rage and sexual dominance on the one of two pathway, sexual permissiveness and sexual objectification on another pathway mediated the relation between narcissism and sexual aggression. In addition, it was investigated whether alcohol use and rape myths acceptance have moderating effects in the pathways from sexual dominance and sexual objectification to sexual aggression on our path model. Data from 368 male college students in four university in Chungcheong province were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results in structural equation modeling exhibited that narcissism affected sexual aggression through mediating effects of entitlement rage and sexual dominance, and through mediating effects of sexual permissiveness and sexual objectification. Furthermore, alcohol use and rape myths acceptance only moderated the relation between sexual dominance and sexual aggression on our model. We discussed the meaning of results and the implications for further study.

Typical pseudo-relevance feedback methods assume the top-retrieved documents are relevant and use these pseudo-relevant documents to expand terms. The initial retrieval set can, however, contain a great deal of noise. In this paper, we present a cluster-based resampling method to select better pseudo-relevant documents based on the relevance model. The main idea is to use document clusters to find dominant documents for the initial retrieval set, and to repeatedly feed the documents to emphasize the core topics of a query. Experimental results on large-scale web TREC collections show significant improvements over the relevance model. For justification of the resampling approach, we examine relevance density of feedback documents. The resampling approach shows higher relevance density than the baseline relevance model on all collections, resulting in better retrieval accuracy in pseudo-relevance feedback. This result indicates that the proposed method is effective for pseudo-relevance feedback.

글로벌 물산업의 규모는 2019년 기준 약 1,000조원 수준으로 2024년까지 연평균 3.5%의 성장률을 달성할 것으로 예측하고 있다. 특히 코로나 19의 영향으로 디지털 물산업에 대한 투자가 증가하고 있으며 4차산업혁명 등으로 지속 성장이 예상되고 있다. 이러한 디지털 물산업 시장의 성장은 물산업분야의 기술경쟁력의 중요도가 더욱 높아질 것을 예상하게 한다. 우리나라의 물산업에 있어서 기술경쟁력 분석을 위해 많은 연구가 진행되어왔으나 대부분 설문조사에 근거한 정석적 분석에 의존하여 왔다. 정성적인 분석에 의존한 연구의 경우, 대상 응답자들이 특정 분야에 치중되어 분석되거나 긍정적으로 판단하는 경향이 있어 우리나라의 물산업 기술의 현재 상황을 과대평가할 가능성이 있다. 또한 연구시점, 설문분야에 따라 결과가 상이할 수 있어 결과의 신뢰성 및 시계열적 추이분석이 어려워 물산업정책 수립을 위해 활용되는데 한계가 존재하였다. 본연구에서는 기존의 정성적 분석에서 벗어나 정량적인 자료에 근거하여 우리나라의 물산업 기술수준과 시장지배를 동시에 고려하여 분석하였다. 물산업의 기술영향력지수(Cites per Patent)와 시장지배력지수(Patent Family Size)를 기준으로 선도국가와 국내 물산업 기술수준 및 시장영향력을 비교하고 평가하였다. 연구결과의 정책적 활용을 위해 물기술과 물시장의 상이한 분류체계를 물시장 중심으로 재분류하여 물산업 기술경쟁력을 분석하여 제시하였다. 연구결과 우리나라의 국내 기술영향력 중 가장 낮은 분야는 하수도 디지털 분야로 선도국가 대비 30% 수준이었으며 시장지배력분야 또한 하수분야로 7% 수준으로 파악되었다.

This study focuses on the characteristic of socio-psychological gender of a consumer except a biological gender. Socio-psychological gender is the self-image of a consumer which is related to the gender role. The goal of this study is, first, to examine if socio-psychological gender has more effect on the purchase intention than biological gender. Second, by classifying a group with femininity among socio-psychological gender, it is to examine what kinds of shopping value it aims at. Finally, it is to examine the difference between men and women from the purchase intention according to the circumstances. The result of this study is summarized as follows. First, a consumer can have both characteristics of biological gender and socio-psychological gender. There are masculinity, femininity, bisexuality, and undifferentiated type for the classification of socio-psychological gender. This study shows that there is relatively much bisexuality which has masculinity and femininity at the same time. The outcome showed that the purchase intention was higher for the product which corresponds to socio-psychological gender of a consumer than biological gender. Second, it indicated that a group with femininity pursued pleasurable shopping as compared to a group with masculinity. By contrast, it showed that a group with masculinity aimed at practical shopping more greatly. Finally, it showed that while women are less sensitive to the purchase intention at the male-dominated circumstances, men's purchase intention get lower at the female-dominated circumstances.

이 연구는 하상변동 수치모형을 적용하여 임진강의 장기간 하상변동과 그에 따른 하천 수위 변화의 예측, 안정하상 검토, 하상변동이 계획홍수위에 미치는 영향, 그리고 하상준설이 수위 및 하상변동에 미치는 영향의 검토를 통해 해당 하천에서 하상변동 특성의 파악에 필요한 자료 및 중.장기 수방대책 수립을 위한 기본 자료를 제공할 목적으로 수행하였다. 임진강 하상변동의 예측에 적절한 일차원 정상 하상변동모형으로 HEC-6 모형을 선정하였다. 모형적용을 위한 현황분석으로 하상토 특성 자료를 수집.분석하였으며, 지형자료에 대한 분석도 수행하였다. 그리고 모형의 적용영역 내에 위치한 각 수위표 지점의 수리.수문자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. HEC-6 모형의 보정을 고정상 보정과 이동상 보정으로 구분하여 수행하였다. 고정상 보정에서는 설정한 조건에 적합한 Manning계수의 결정이 곤란하여 하천의 지형자료와 하상토 자료 등을 고려하여 구간별로 적정한 Manning 계수 값을 선정하였다. 이동상 보정을 통해 HEC-6 모형에서 사용하는 유사량 산정공식 중 하류경계에서 상류로 약 8 km 구간에 대한 하상상승 현상을 가장 잘 보여주는 유사량 공식인 Madden(1963)이 수정한 Laursen(1958) 공식을 선택하였다. 하천망 유사이동 수치모형인 HEC-6 모형을 사용하여 20년간의 장기하상변동을 수치모의하였다. 임진강의 최심하상고 변동량 예측결과 상류경계로부터 약 52 km까지는 하상저하가 지배적이며, 중 하류는 하상상승이 지배적인 것으로 나타났다. 연구 대상구간에서 대체로 퇴적에 의한 하상상승이 예상되었다.

최근 기후변화로 인해 낙뢰의 발생빈도가 크게 증가하고 있으며 이에 따라 피뢰시스템의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 피뢰시스템의 원활한 기능을 수행하기 위해 접지시스템의 성능이 보장되어야 하며, 접지전극은 뇌격전류를 안전하게 대지로 방류시켜야 한다. 본 논문에서는 피뢰시스템에서 가장 흔하게 사용되는 수직접지전극을 대상으로 서지전류가 인가되었을 때 접지전극이 묻힌 대지저항률, 접지전극의 길이, 서지 전류의 파두시간 등에 따른 규약접지임피던스를 측정하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 대지저항률이 높은 토양과 접지전극의 길이가 짧은 경우 접지임피던스가 감소하는 용량성 특성이 지배적으로 나타나며, 대지저항률이 작고 접지전극의 길이가 긴 경우 접지임피던스가 증가하는 유도성 특성이 지배적으로 나타났다. 따라서 피뢰시스템을 위한 접지시스템 설계 시 대지저항률 및 접지전극의 길이를 고려하여 유도성 특성을 최소화 할 수 있도록 설계해야 한다.
