Pliot Building of the Management System for River Thematic Maps (하천주제도 관리시스템 시범구축)

  • Currently, the government has been established GIS DB related to river as a part of the river map digitization projects such as RIMGIS and flood map. This study was aimed to demonstrate the generation of thematic maps related to river space and their management system, the one of the major river thematic maps proposed from the precedent study "Establishment of River Thematic Map Project" in an effort to maximize the utilization of river related database, the major product of the project for digitization of river maps. This study includes amending database model for building river thematic maps. Also, metadata were amended and built for efficient management and distribution of the river related data based on the national standard metadata proposed from "Establishing Standard Metadata" sponsored by National Geography Institute in 2003 for more effective management of river thematic maps. In addition, this study analyzed the method for utilizing existing data from RIMGIS and WAMIS as well as digital topographic maps to produce 25 river thematic maps in accordance of defined building procedure. Management system of the river thematic maps for Kyungan watershed has been generated for effective managing river thematic maps based on the design and pilot generation of river thematic maps, and metadata management function has been added into the management system.

  • 본 연구에서는 사회발전과 더불어 성장하는 주요도로의 교통량을 충족시키기 위해 지속적으로 진행되는 도로건설사업의 노선선정 및 그에 따른 환경적인 문제의 중요성이 인식되는 바 가장 적절한 도로건설사업을 위해 지리정보시스템 기법을 도입하여 도로건설에 있어서 고려되는 몇 가지 기본자료를 선택하고 데이터베이스를 구축하여 구축된 데이터의 분석과 활용에 의해 노선선정에 따른 절 성토량과 기존의 도로설계프로그램으로 절 성토량을 산정하여 비교하였고 기존의 수작업에 의한 설계된 최적노선과 GIS에서 자동 선정된 노선을 비교하여 도로건설사업에 따른 객관적이고 경제적, 환경적, 기술적 문제를 해결 평가하고 Virtual GIS로 가상현실 구현과 기존의 도로설계 프로그램을 이용한 삼차원 도로설계를 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 국가 지리정보 시스템 기술 개발 사업의 지원으로 현재 연구, 개발되고 있는 공간 객체 관리 시스템에서 래스터 형태의 공간 정보를 처리하는 래스터 처리기를 설계하고 구현하였다. 먼저 공간 객체 관리 시스템의 저장 시스템안에 저장될 래스터 정보의 데이터 구조를 정의하고, 이를 클래스 라이브러리의 형태로 구현하여 응용 애플리케이션의 작성시 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고, 래스터 정보를 추출하기 위한 질의문 작성에 포함되는 질의 연산 및 관련 모듈을 구현하여 공간 객체 관리 시스템의 질의 수행기에 삽입하여 래스터 정보의 질의를 처리할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • This study has tries to define the structure of cubical substitute lot development and develope the logical tool for GIS(Geographic Information System). The research has found such important variables as the gap of land price, FARIfloor area ratio), LBR(land burden ratio) and etc. Among those variables, current land price and increasing rate of the price could not be controled by the developer and governments. LBR and FAR, however, could be negotiated and regulated by those shareholders. The result could define the control variables in cubical substitute lot which should be included in the future system for the development tool. The outcome could give the objective ground for local governments, landlords, and engineering companies which involve the cubical subsititute lot.

  • Telematics is a kind of the convergence of industries such as an automobile, communication, contents, and so on. Jeju-Do has been selected as a model city for telematics and has carried out the telematics service project. Jeju Telematics contains six service areas including navigation, traffic information, emergency assistance, leisure information, tour destination information, and cultural life information. Jeju telematics project has been planned to be dealt with the aspects of technological skills and content development. In fact, because of the nature of model project for testing information technologies, Jeju telematics has been strongly approached by technical aspects. However, telematics is composed of services for users. Then, the success or fail of telematics project can be dependent upon the demand of users, and, in general, users are influenced by the contents of services. Thus, the contents of services should be also dealt as a major concern in the telematics project. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to examine the degree of recognition and preference of contents by users about telematics service. Examination is proceeded by a survey method. Based on the result of the survey, this paper proposes the alternatives for the future directions of Jeju Telematics project regarding contents.

Using High Resolution Satellite Imagery for New Address System (도로명 및 건물번호 부여사업에서 고해상도 위성영상의 활용)

  • The point of this research is the use of the high resolution satellite image for local government's new address system, as well as spatially field investigation support and base map error finding. Most local governments use scale 1/1,000 and 1/5,000 digital map for base map and field investigation. But field investigator's knowledge insufficiency and the lack of base map's currency make things too difficult from the beginning of the project. As the way of solving this problem, this research offers the use of the high resolution satellite image in new address system with cadence data of digital base map. Until now satellite image is not suitable for our situation because it has low resolution. But this problem was solved for 1m space resolution satellite image and it is being applied wider and wider. Now vector data and Raster data are integrated for complimenting of each weak point. In this study the use of the high resolution satellite image in new address system is expected to improve the quality of the results and reduce the expenses. In addition the satellite image can use local government's fundamental data.

Analysis of Eunpyeong New Town Land Price Using Geographically Weighted Regression (지리가중회귀분석을 이용한 은평뉴타운 지가 분석)

  • Newtown Business of Seoul had been performed to reduce deterioration of Gangbuk and economic inequality between Gangnam and Gangbuk. According to this, Eunpyeong-gu was set as test-bed for Newtown business and Newtown business had been completed until 2013. This study aims to analyze the influence of social and economical factors which affect land price using GWR (Geographically Weighted Regression) considered spatial effect. As a result of analysis, GWR model demonstrated a better goodness-of-fit than OLS (Ordinary least square) model typically used in most study. Furthermore, AIC value and Moran's I of residual prove that GWR model is more suitable than OLS model. GWR model enable to explain more detailed than global regression model as coefficient and sign show different value locally. In future, this research will be helpful to develop Eunpyeong-gu considering spatial characters and strength effectiveness of development.

Development of a Feature Catalogue for Marine Geographic Information (해양 지리정보 피쳐 카탈로그 작성에 관한 연구)

  • Standards are essential to facilitate the efficient use of GIS data. International Standards such as ISO TC211's 19100 series and various technical specifications from OpenGIS Consortium are some of the examples of efforts to maintain the interoperability among GIS applications. Marine GIS is no exception to this rule and in this context. developing standards for marine GIS is also in urgent needs. Using the same meaning and definition for the features commonly found in marine GIS applications is one of the ways to increase the interoperability among systems. One of the key requirements for maintaining the standard meanings for features is to build a common feature catalogue. This paper examines the concept of feature catalogue and describe the ways in which the feature catalogue can be organized. To identify the common features found in various marine GIS applications, a comprehensive search has been made to collect and analyze the features used in various applications. To maintain the interoperability with the National GIS (NGIS) system, the features used in various NGIS applications have been analyzed as well. The result of these analyses are used to create a comprehensive list of common features for marine GIS. This paper then explains the common feature catalogue for marine GIS and the provides the appropriate classification and coding systems for the common features. In addition, a registration tool for registering the common features into the standard registry has been developed in this study. This Web-based tool can be used to input features into the feature catalogue by various applications and also to maintain a standard-compliant feature catalogue by standard agencies.

  • A case study to test the open API service functions of Geographic Information Open Platform(Vworld) for Environmental Impact Assessment was carried out for improving the function of Environmental Impact Assessment Geographic Information System(EIAGIS) which is one of Environmental Impact Assessment Supporting System(EIASS) used for current Environmental Impact Assessment. Followings are the summary of the study. First, utilization of EIAGIS was low since DB renewal was limited and the quality of 2D based topographic information was low. A new service which could respond to practitioners' needs could be developed to use a open API service of Vworld provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to make up those disadvantages. EIASS with Vworld could provide a consulting service from the beginning stage of business plan and make improvements of confidence as well as fast agreements since both consultation agencies and assessment agencies are using a same program during Environmental Impact Assessment process with customized information.
