  • This paper is analyzing the situation of the Internet of Things Industry and draw the policy implications to promote Internet of Things industry. Major IT companies as Apple, Google, IBM, Sony, and Samsung have developed various smart glass and smart watch as a Iot products. In order to promote Iot Industry, we should take the build up of eco system between IT makers and the various contents provider, protection of personal information and data, development of killer applications and business models, and the conversion from IPv4 to IPv6 as a next internet address infra, build up of international standard platform on IoT.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 네트워킹과 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 가운데 무선으로 사물의 이동을 자동으로 인식하고 위치를 파악하는 기술인 RFID(Radio frequency IDentification)가 이슈가 되고 있다. 따라서, 유비쿼터스 환경에서 RFID 기술을 이용한 많은 애플리케이션 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 기술과 유비쿼터스형 에이전트를 이용하여 대형마트에서의 고객의 위치를 파악하고 고객의 쇼핑 동선을 분석하여 최적의 매장관리 및 고객관리를 할 수 있는 지능형 매장관리를 위한 쇼핑 분석 시스템을 제안한다.

  • One of the major problems with the livestock industry is that in the summer, livestock will die from heat waves or infectious diseases. Under these circumstances, what livestock need is a proper indoor temperature and a regular sterilization system. Therefore, in this study, we developed a system that automatically controls the power of the fan according to the temperature inside the shaft, and a function that provides feed and sterilization on a regular basis, so that we could manage the toast efficiently. It also proposed the ability to automatically control the power of the fan, to display the temperature inside the shaft to mobile applications, and to provide food and sterilization. First, the function of controlling the power of the fan automatically turns the fan on when the temperature inside the shaft rises above a certain level. Conversely, if the temperature inside the shaft falls below a certain level, turn off the fan. Second, the function of the mobile application is to check the temperature inside the shaft. The third feeding function is periodically fed using a servo motor, and the feeding provided is delivered to livestock through a conveyor belt. Finally, the sterilization function is a function to sterilize livestock periodically using DC motor pump. The intelligent congratulatory functions proposed in this study may contribute to the health of livestock.

  • In the end-user domain of an IoT environment, there are more and more intelligent M2M devices that provide resources to create and share application services. Therefore, it can be very useful to manage trust by transferring the role of the existing centralized service provider to end users in a P2P environment. However, in a decentralized M2M computing environment where end users independently provide or consume services, mutual trust building is the most important factor. This is because malicious users trying to build malfunctioning services can cause security problems in M2M computing environments such as IoT. In this paper, we provide an integrated analysis and approach for trust evaluation of M2M application services, and an optimized trust evaluation model that can guarantee reliability among users of the M2M community.

  • The purpose of this study is to solve the loss of personal belongings by utilizing monitoring function of IoT platform. The beacon to combined with personal belongings are registered with the application server, the trigger processing function according to the occurrence of the lost event is performed intelligently through the device, the app, the IoT network, and the application server.

  • In spite of rapid development of IT-related meteorology and services, human users still ought to check the weather information manually as they did before because traditional weather information retrieval is based on pull-type and human interpretation. Furthermore, the automatic machine-driven weather information processing has been neglected for a long time although the intelligent weather information processing is expected to be very useful for personal daily life and ubiquitous computing. In this paper, we discussed a design of GRIB based ontology to enable smart weather information processing. GRIB is the general purposed and world-wildly used weather data format approved by the World Meteorological Organization. With the designed ontology and the inference system containing Jess engine, several intelligent weather applications have been implemented and tested to verify the virtue of machine-driven weather information processing.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 전자 출결을 위한 시스템들이 학생들의 스마트폰 사용을 기반으로 하고 있다는 문제들을 해결하기 위하여 사전등록을 통한 얼굴인식 인공지능을 활용한 전자 출결 관리 시스템인 <반달>을 소개한다. 본 논문에서는 얼굴인식 인공지능을 통한 식별 및 애플리케이션을 통한 출결 사항 확인과 수정기능을 포함하여 통합적인 출결 관리를 가능하게 하였다. 학생들 개개인 스마트폰의 소지를 필수로 요구하지 않아 제약이 적은 라즈베리파이와 데이터베이스를 사용한 설치형 출결 관리 시스템을 제안한다.

Deep-Learning-based smartphone application for automatic recognition of ingredients on curved containers (곡면 용기에 표시된 성분표 자동 인식을 위한 인공지능 기반 스마트폰 애플리케이션)

  • Consumers should look at the ingredients of cosmetics or food for their health and purchase them after checking whether they contain allergy-causing ingredients. Therefore, this paper aimed to develop an artificial intelligence-based smartphone application for automatically recognizing the ingredients displayed on a curved container and delivering it to consumers in an easy-to-understand manner. The app needs to allow consumers to immediately comprehend the restricted ingredients by recognizing the ingredients' words in the cropped image. Two major issues should be solved during the development process: First, although there were flat containers for cosmetics or food, most were curved containers. Thus, it was necessary to recognize the ingredient table displayed on the curved containers. Second, since the ingredients' words were displayed on the curved surface, the transformed or line-changed words also needed to be recognized. The proposed new methods were enough to solve the above two problems. The application developed through various tests verified that there was no problem recognizing the ingredients' words contained in a cylindrical curved container.

In this paper, SVC Codec, real-time video and graphics processing and SoC design intelligent vehicles middleware applications with monolithic system specification through Android-based design of intelligent vehicles dedicated middleware research experiments on open platforms, and provides various terminal services functions SoC based on a newly designed and standardized interface analysis techniques in this study were verified through experiments.

  • 사회적 문제와 인공지능 기술의 발달로 챗봇 서비스에 대한 관심이 점점 증가하고 있으며, 그 결과 TTS(Text to Speech) 및 STT(Speech to Text) 기술을 기반으로 한 보조형 프로그램에 대한 개발이 다양한 모바일 환경에서 진행중이다. 본 논문에서는 문자를 소리로 변환해주는 TTS(Text to Speech) 기술과 소리를 문자로 변환해주는 STT(Speech to Text) 기술을 사용하여 음성지원 챗봇 시스템을 제작하고 이를 안드로이드 기반의 모바일 애플리케이션으로 구현한 '음성지원 챗봇 모바일 애플리케이션'을 제안하고, 이와 관련하여 관련 기술 및 기대효과에 대해 소개한다.
