Effects of Chinese Consumer lifestyles on perceived value, purchase intention, and satisfaction of Korean medium & low price cosmetics (중국 소비자 라이프스타일이 한국 중·저가 화장품의 지각된 가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • Chinese economic growth and Chinese adoption of foreign cultures have changed varied phenomena, consumption patterns and consumer life-styles, in particular. In order to understand behavior of Chinese consumers, it is critical to explore their lifestyles and its effects on their purchase behavior. For attaining this goal, our research classifies Chinese consumer lifestyles related to cosmetics, into four types: brand oriented, price sensitive, rational consumption, and impulse buying. The research further analyzes the effects of consumer lifestyles on perceived value, satisfaction, and purchase intention in each case of skin care cosmetics and make-up cosmetics. Significant difference are found in perceived value, satisfaction, and purchase intention of skin care cosmetics exists between brand-oriented type and rational consumption type. This is also the case between rational consumption type and impulse buying type. Purchase intention is only found to be different between rational consumption type and price sensitive type. In case of make-up cosmetics, significant differences in perceived value, satisfaction, and purchase intention in the pairs of brand-oriented type and rational consumption type, rational consumption type and impulse buying type, and rational consumption type and price sensitive type. This implies rational consumption type should be more appropriate target consumers in the Chinese cosmetics market.

A Clinical Study on the Therapeutic Effects of the Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser on Dentinal Hypersensitivity (상아질지각과민증에 대한 펄스형 Nd: YAG 레이저의 치료효과에 관한 임상적 연구)

  • 저자는 치과용 레이저를 이용한 상아질지각과민증 치료효과를 임상적으로 평가하고자 상아질지각과민증환자 24명을 대상으로 각 환자마다 상아질 지각과민 치아 중 레이저로 치료 할 치아1개(실험군)와 치료하지 않을 치아 1개(대조군)를 선정하여, 치과용 air-syringe에 의한 냉자극과 치과용 탐침자에 의한 기계적 자극을 가한 후 Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)을 통해 지각과민증 정도를 평가하였으며, 이후 실험군 치아의 치경부 마모면에 광섬유 레이저에너지 전달방식의 펄스형 Nd:YAG 레이저의 일종인 Sunlase Master(Sunrise Technologies Inc., U.S.A., 파장 1064nm, 펄스지속시간 120(sec, 광섬유직경 320(m)를 사용하여, 0.3-1.0W, 10Hz 조건으로 환자의 반응에 따라 1회2분을 초과하지 않는 범위 내에서 비접촉식과 접촉식을 병행하여 3회에 걸쳐(초진 당일, 1일후, 3일후) 레이저를 조사한 후 처음조사 직후, 그리고 초진 1일후, 3일후, 7일후, 14일후 VAS를 채득하여 조사전과 비교, 분석, 평가하였던 바, 상아질 지각과민증이 각각 약 50%, 약36%, 약45%, 약 53% 감소하였으나 (p(0.05) 경시적으로는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그리고 24명중 9명에 대해서는 초진 30일 후 까지 레이저조사치료효과를 평가하였던 바, 상아질지각과민증이 처음조사 직후, 감소하였으며 (p(0.05)역시 경시적으로는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 초진 30일 후 상아질지각과민증이 초진 14일 후에 비해 약간 증가되는 경향을 보여, 레이저조사 치료효과가 약화되는 경향인지 여부에 대해 향후 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.안되었다.기란 현실적으로 불가능하므로, 본 연구에서는 이러한 제약점을 극복할 수 있는 근사적인 지체시간을 계산하는 방법을 제시한 점에서 의미를 갖을 수 있다.수들은 직업의 선택이나 소득을 예측하기 위한 요소들로 포함될 수 없었다. 따라서 후속연구에서는 이를 보완해야 할 것이며, 최근 들어 우리 나라에서도 재택근무에 대한 관심이 대두되고 있으나 아직 개념정의나 그 중요성과 가치, 그리고 실태 파악과 같은 연구가 활발히 이루어지지 못하고 있으므로 이에 대한 심층적인 연구가 행해져야 할 것이다.d similar flower proceeding dates in all branches. but "Daepung" showed similar flower proceeding dates in all branches.est in HB. Mean period of wetting duration was in the order of DS>HB>MB, while the dew point depression was greatest in DS.ANCOVA, Pearson correlation을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 캠프 프로그램은 소아 당뇨병 환자의 자기 효능을 증진시키고 환자 역할 행위 이행을 높여주는데 효과적 이었다. 소아 당뇨병 환자의 자기 효능은 환자 역할 행위 이행과 순 상관 관계가 있어, 자기 효능이 증진될수록 환자 역할 행위 이행 정도가 높아졌다. 무조건 사주지 않는다(8.0%), 무조건 사준다(3.1%)로 식품광고에 나오는 식품 요구시 부모의 70.3%가 거절하는 것으로 나타났다. 거절 이유는 건강에 나쁘다는 것이 가장 큰 이유였으며 강남과 강북 어린이간에 유의적인 차이가 있었다(p<0.001).

  • This study attempts to examine how the perception of risk and customer satisfaction influence the intention to recommend when selecting a Korean restaurant. 257 copies of the questionnaire for the Chinese students studying in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do are analyzed. Three hypotheses were established and the results are as follows. First, as a result of difference analysis about perception of risk depending on dining types, there are significant differences in all factors of preception of risk partially. Second, as a result of difference analysis of customer behavior depending on dining types, there are significant differences between revisit intention and recommendation intention, and dining motivation and preferred Korean menu. Third, the effects of 6 factors of perception of risk on customer behavior are analyzed, and there are decreased customer satisfaction as the customers perceive financial and psychological crisis highly.

Parent-teacher differences in the perception of parental expectation and satisfaction on the use of child care service (부모들의 보육시설 이용기대와 만족도에 대한 부모-교사간의 지각차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine what parents really want to daycare center and how much they are satisfied with the daycare service they use. This study also explored how exactly daycare teachers recognize the parental needs and satisfaction on daycare service. One hundred and seventy one parents who send their child to a daycare center in Seoul, and one hundred and thirty five teachers from the same daycare centers participated in this study. Parents were asked about their needs and expectation on daycare service and the degree of satisfaction on the daycare center (including educational facilities, teacher's role, specific programs, etc.). Teachers provided answers about their understanding on what the parents want and how much parents are satisfied with their daycare center. Results revealed that parents are generally satisfied with the daycare service such as educational programs and educational facilities and teachers' role conducting. However, some parent-teacher differences were found in their perception on the levels and domains of parental expectation and satisfaction with daycare service. The parent-teacher differences would give very practical tips for teachers, who plan and conduct everyday daycare programs and actually interact with children in the setting for better daycare service.

  • 안구의 운동은 시각 환경에서의 진행중인 정보처리와 관련된 지각적, 인지적 과정을 밀접히 반영하는 중요한 지표로서, 특히 공간 지각과의 상관은 비교적 명확히 확립되어 있다. 본 연구는 공간지각에 관여하는 안구운동의 특성을 파악하여, 공간지각을 반영하는 안구운동 지표를 개발한다는 목표 아래, 피험자가 느끼는 공간의 확장과 축소의 특성을 이중도약과제(double-step paraeigm)를 사용하여 관찰한 것이다. 이중도약과제는 도약(saccadic)안구운동의 오차를 유발시키는 실험기법으로, 두개의 시각자극을 하나씩 연속적으로 보여주되, 두번째 자극은 안구운동이 일어나는 도중에 제시하는 것으로서, 인위적으로 왜곡된 공간에 대한 피험자의 공간적응을 관찰하는데 사용되었다. 이 과제는 다시 자극의 이차도약 방향에 따라 축소감 조건과 확장감 조건으로 나뉘었고, 머리운동의 역할을 판별하기 위해 머리를 고정한 조건과 머리를 자유롭게한 조건으로 분류되었다. 그 결과 머리가 고정된 상태에서는 축소감 조건에 대한 적응이 확장감 조건에서보다 더 빨리 일어나고, 그 적응후의 시선이동의 변화량에서도 축소감 조건이 더 크게 나타났다. 또한 머리를 자유롭게 할 공간 지각의 정확성이 증가하며, 축소감과 확장감 경험속도의 차이가 약 49.2%까지 해소되었으나, 여전히 축소감의 경험이 더 잘 일어났다.

Congruence in Leader and Follower Perceptions of Leader-Member Exchange: Relationships with Organizational Commitment and Perceptions of Organizational Politics (리더-구성원 교환관계에 대한 리더와 구성원 지각의 정합성: 조직정치지각과 정서적 조직몰입의 관계를 중심으로)

  • The purposes of this paper examines the extant to which congruence in leader and follower rating of LMX quality is related to organizational commitment, and perceptions of organizational politics(POPs). A conceptual model is introduced that identifies four combinations of leader and follower LMX ratings of Cogliser et al.(2009): balanced/low LMX(low leader and follower LMX), balanced/high LMX(high leader and follower LMX), follower overestimation(low leader LMX/high follower LMX), follower underestimation(high leader LMX/low follower LMX). The summary of results based on a sample of 236 matched pairs of leaders and followers in KOREA is as follows: First, balanced/high LMX and follower overestimation were associated with relatively high levels of affective organizational commitment, and perceptions of organizational politics. However, follower underestimation and balanced/low LMX was related to low levels of follower outcomes. In particular, follower underestimation and balanced/low LMX were significantly different from balanced/high LMX and follower overestimation. Second, perceptions of organizational politics was negatively related to affective organizational commitment in the four LMX relationship types. Especially, the negative relationship between POPs and organizational commitment was stronger for people who are low as compared with high in LMX quality. Theoretical and practical implications of our findings as well as directions for future research are provided.

The Comparison of Color Perception between Korean and American undergrauates (한미 대학생의 색지각에 대한 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the scope of standard color perception for Americans and to compare the differences in color perception between Korean and American undergraduates. Sixty male and fifty-one female American undergraduates were selected as a random sample. Color perception was tested with the naked eyes. Minolta Chroma Meter CR 300 was used for physical measurement of the color. Based on the objective of this study and the data generated the following results were drawn: 1) We found no distinctive difference in color perception by different eye colors. 2) Color perception of American undergraduates is largely classified into four different groups: simple group includes Yellow, Green, Blue, White, Gray, and Black, X(-axis)group includes Yellow Red, Y(-axis)group includes Blue Green, Purple, complex group includes Yellow Red, Purple Blue. 3) The differences in color perception between the two undergraduate groups were found to be significant with four colors: Yellow Red, Green, Blue, and Purple. 4) There is a wide difference between the values of standard color and inn percept color. When undergraduates in both countries were compared, it turned out that Korean students were more accurate than Americans in color perception. 5) American students perceived Red, Yellow, and Green colors relatively correctly, but showed an extremely low degree of accuracy in Blue and Purple Blue color perception.

  • Today, researches on logistics service quality or supply chain management are highlighted due to intensification of competition and diversification of needs for customer service. This study have done a comparative analysis on supply chain partnership members' perception difference about importance of logistics service quality factors. It measured perception about logistics service quality which suppliers, carriers, and buyers regard as important and then conducted t-test in order to compare perception difference. It was found that quality factors of logistic service which suppliers, carriers, and buyers in supply chain partnership perceive as important were different. And disagreements among members were found in most items when market orientation and long term orientation was low while there was no difference among most members when market orientation and long term orientation was high.

Generation and Gender Differences in Physical Attractiveness and Likability Perception (세대와 성별에 따른 신체적 매력과 호감 지각의 집단 차이에 대한 검증)

  • The present study examined the relations between physical attractiveness and likability and we also investigated whether these variable's effects differ depending on generation (young and middle-aged) × evaluator gender (male and female) × target gender (male and female). Second, when assessing these variables, we figured out whether evaluators more preferred 'the same-sex preference' than 'the opposite-sex preference'. To that end, 120 college students participated in the 3D program to sample their ideal looks and bodies. Then, another 240 people (60 young men and women each, 60 middle-aged men and women each) evaluated the physical attractiveness, likeability, relationship preference, and personality of the sample. The result is that physical attractiveness is a positively related to likability. There were evaluator gender and target gender differences in the judgment of physical attractiveness, but there were generation and target gender differences in the judgment of likability. Lastly, the effect based on target-maker gender was different for evaluator gender in each factor evaluation. These results were discussed from the evolutionary and sociocultural perspectives on physical attractiveness.

The Effect of Legitimacy and Fashionability on Females' Control over their Boyfriends' Fashion Style (간섭권한과 패션감각이 남자친구의 패션스타일 통제에 미치는 영향)

  • People tend to perceive their loved others (e.g., children, spouse, romantic partner) as their extended selves and then control over the loved others' fashion style corresponding to their self-concept. The study conceptually suggested that people's perceptions on legitimacy to interfere the others and their own fashionability would separately or interactively influence their control over the loved others' fashion style. To investigate the suggestions, an experiment with female participants in their 20's was conducted by using a scenario. The results indicated that participants' perception of legitimacy to interfere their boyfriends or their own fashionability did not have a separate effect on control over their boyfriends' fashion style. However, the legitimacy and the fashionability did have an interactive effect on the control. In particular, for high legitimacy groups, there was no difference in the control between low and high fashionability groups. For low legitimacy groups, the control was stronger in high fashionability group than in low fashionability group.
