Comparison of Professional Self-Concepts and Care Perceptions between Emergency Medical Technician Trainees and Emergency Medical Technician Basics (2급응급구조사 교육생과 2급응급구조사의 전문직 자아개념 및 응급환자 돌봄 지각의 비교)

  • This study is explorative survey carried out to examine differences in professional self-concepts and emergency patient care perceptions between emergency medical technician trainees (namely, EMT-basic trainees or trainees) and emergency medical technicians basic (namely, EMT-basic or technicians). The subjects are some trainees and technicians. The trainees included 95 fire fighters who had enrolled educational programs for emergency medical technicians basic at K and A Fire Academy while the technicians were 78 fire fighter gathering from all regions of the country who had enrolled a short expertise program for emergency medical technicians basic at S University in C City.

A Study on the Impacts of Shipping Service Firm's Perceived Relational Benefits on Switching Barriers and Customer Loyalty -Focusing on Tug Boat Service- (해운기업의 지각된 관계 혜택과 전환장벽 및 고객 충성도의 관계에 관한 실증연구 -예인서비스를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of shipping service firm's perceived relational benefits on switching barriers and loyalty focusing on tug boat service. To achieve the purpose of the research, literature survey on existing literature, thesis, research report is performed and also reliability analysis, validity test and multiple regression analysis using SPSSWIN 18.0 is used in this research. To verify a research model and hypothesis, a questionnaire survey among employees of shipping companies and shipping agencies was executed. 76 copies of total 200 copies of questionnaires were collected and the number of questionnaire used for empirical analysis was 76 copies. The main results of the study are summarized as below. First, Hypothesis 1 "shipping service firm's perceived relational benefits has a positive impact on the switching barrier" was supported by this study. Second, Hypothesis 2 "shipping service firm's perceived relational benefits has a positive impact on the loyalty" was supported in this research. Finally, Hypothesis 3 "switching barrier has a positive impact on the customer's loyalty" was also supported. Further research can be extended by adding more questionnaires including more shipping service firms all over the nation.

  • 사용자 만족(User satisfaction)은 Bailey와 Pearson(1983) 이후, 정보시스템 분야의 연구에서 시스템의 성능(Performance)을 대변하는 성과변수로서 가장 널리 사용되어져 왔다.[Delone & McLean, 1992]. 그러나 사용자 만족은 실제 시스템의 객관적인 성능이나 품질이 아닌 사용자에 의해 지각된(Perceived) 만족이므로, 인간이 인지과정에서 받는 다른 영향들로 인하여 지각된 성과는 실제의 시스템 성능과 다를 수 있다.[Gatian 1994; Szajna & Scamell, 1993. 따라서 만일 사용자가 지각한 성능이 객관적인 실제의 시스템 성능과 반드시 일치하지 않는다면, 그 원인은 무엇이며, 사용자가 시스템을 평가하는 과정에서 어떤 요인들이 작용하여 이러한 왜곡된 결과를 가져오는지, 사용자 만족이 결정되는 인지적 과정을 규명할 필요가 있다. 이러한 의미에서 본 연구는 마케팅 분야에서 일반상품에 대한 소비자의 만족 결정에 영향을 주는 변수와 그 결정과정을 연구한 소비자 만족/불만족(Consumer Satisfaction / Dissatisfaction)의 연구이론을 도입하여, 정보시스템이란 상품을 대상으로 사용자가 만족을 느끼게 되는 과정을 인지적(Cognitive) 관점에서 규명하고, 만족결정에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 찾아낸 후 소비자 만족을 결정하는 모형을 연구하고자 하였다. 8개 기업의 정보시스템 사용자부터 데이터를 수집하여 LISREL을 이용하여 사용자 만족 연구 모형을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 결정모형은 유의하였으며 정보시스템의 사용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 시스템의 성능 뿐 아니라 기대불일치가 함께 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 시스템 성능의 향상과 함께 사용자들의 기대수준 관리에 관심을 기울일 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

브랜드자산 강화요인의 영향성에 관한 연구

  • 브랜드는 단순히 출처를 표시하고 품질을 보증하며 나아가 광고선전을 담당하는 기능을 하는 도구가 아니라 이를 바탕으로 기업에게 가치를 제공하는 매우 중요한 자산으로 부각되고 있다. 기업은 마케팅 활동을 통해 브랜드 이미지를 개발하고 소비자의 태도를 변화시키며, 자사의 브랜드자산을 증가시켜 브랜드의 시장성과를 높일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 시장에 대한 진입 장벽 효과를 갖게 하고, 브랜드 탄력성을 높이는 등 전략적 가치를 보장받을 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 기업에 있어서 새로운 마케팅 전략의 수단으로 브랜드의 중요성이 높아지고 있으며, 또한 자사의 기업가치를 증대시키기 위해서는 강력한 브랜드자산을 창출하는데 전력을 다해야 할 것이다. 이러한 브랜드자산을 강화하기 위한 수단으로서의 브랜드인지도, 브랜드충성도, 지각된 품질, 브랜드 연상, 광고효과의 역할은 현재와 같은 글로벌 경쟁 시장상황에서 매우 의미가 있다고 본다. 특히 인터넷의 등장으로 더욱 가속화되고 있는 정보화시대에 있어서 광고의 역할이 많은 비중을 차지할 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서는 브랜드인지도, 브랜드충성도, 지각된 품질, 브랜드연상, 광고효과가 브랜드자산 강화에 어느 정도의 영향을 미치는가를 연구하고자 한다. 그리고, 국내 중형승용차 시장에서 선두를 달리고 있는 현대의 소나타 브랜드에 대한 소비자들의 의식을 설문조사를 통하여 브랜드자산을 강화시키는 요인에 대한 영향을 실증 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 한 브랜드자산에 대한 마케팅에 있어서 전략적 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업들은 자사의 브랜드인지도를 높여서 소비자의 마음속에 자사의 브랜드가 장기간 기억될 수 있도록 브랜드인지도에 대한 전략적인 관리가 요망된다. 둘째, 소비자들이 자사의 브랜드가 경쟁브랜드보다 더 강력한 연상이 형성되도록 집중적인 마케팅 노력을 기울여야 할 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 제품품질을 향상시켜 소비자들의 지각된 품질수준을 높이는 노력이 요구된다. 넷째, 주로 단기간 작용하는 광고의 긍정적 효과를 위해서는 지속적인 광고의 실행이 요망된다. 끝으로, 분석결과에서도 알 수 있듯이 브랜드충성도가 브랜드자산 강화에 결정적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 마케팅관리자는 마케팅조사를 통해 브랜드충성도의 변화를 추적하고, 자사 제품에 대한 반복구매 및 브랜드태도의 측정을 함께 실시하여 더 높은 브랜드충성도를 소비자들이 가질 수 있도록 전략적인 방안을 강구하여야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과를 요약하면 브랜드충성도가 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 브랜드연상, 지각된 품질, 광고효과, 브랜드인지도 순으로 모두다 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 기업에서는 브랜드자산을 강화하기 위해서는 5가지 요인들에 대해 체계적이고 보다 세밀한 관리방안을 수립하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study aims to prove the value of SNS tourism information by confirming the relation between SNS tourism information and perceived risk and by verifying its influence on the intention to switch tourism destination. The data was collected from 302 tourists. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 were conducted. First, functional characteristics of SNS tourism information have been verified to have no relationship with the tourist's perception of risk, and therefore the functional tourism information is thought to cause individual motive regardless of tourist's perception of risk. Second, aesthetic value and economic benefits of SNS tourism information have been analyzed to reduce perceived risk of tourists. Third, a symbol of SNS Tourism information has proved to be an element that increases the risk perceived by tourists, indicating that various kinds of tourism information provided by other channels including SNS can serve as a momentum to make tourists recognize new risks the other way round as new tourism information is accumulated, which acts as new motivating factor.

Distorted perception of 3D slant caused by disjunctive-eye-movements (반향 눈 운동에 의한 3차원 경사의 왜곡된 지각)

  • Despite dynamical retinal image changes caused by pursuit eye movements, we usually perceive the stable spatial properties of the environment suite successfully Helmholtz and his followers have suggested that the visual system coordinates the retinal and extraretinal eye position information to represent the spatial properties of the environment. However. there have been a significant amount of researches showing that this kind of mechanism may not operate perfectly, and the pursuit eye movement employed in those researches were limited to conjugate eye movements. When an observer tracks an object moving away from the observer with his/her eyes. the two eyes rotate in opposite direction. and this kind of disjunctive eye movement may produce undesirable binocular disparities for the objects in the background. The present study examined whether the visual system compensated for the undesirable binocular disparities caused by disjunctive eye movements with extraretinal eye position information. Although the target object was presented frontoparellely to the subjects. the subjects reported that the object was slanted toward (or alway from) them in consistent with the undesirable binocular disparities produced by the disjunctive eye movements. These results imply that the visual system may not perfectly compensate for the undesirable binocular disparities with extraretinal eye position information.

  • This study aims to analyze the relationship between the expectation of franchisees to their franchisers before contracting and perceived performance after actually operation. The analysis data was collected from 789 franchisees located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do of South Korea. The findings are as followings: first, the gap between expectation of franchisees and perceived performance was negative and it becomes an necessary for franchise managers to manage the expectation of franchisees by using various effective marketing strategies. Second, the gaps were different among different franchise industrial classifications and the gap in the food-service industry is the largest.

A research on regional differences in traffic environments and driver's behaviors in Korea (교통환경과 운전자 행동 요인의 전국 지역별 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in the traffic environments and driving behaviors in 5 regions of Korea. Data were collected through the survey research from 1387 passenger car drivers in 14 locations in Korea. The main findings of this research are as followings: First of all, There were significant differences in traffic environment factors(road topography, construction, road & safety facilities, pedestrian behaviors, surrounding drivers) among 5 regional areas. When we examined drivers factors, there were significant differences among 5 metropolitan areas on wearing seat belt, most of constructions related to drink driving, speed-limit violation. There were many differences in driving habits, intentions, behaviors including wearing seat belt, driving after drinking according to metropolitan area, and also in case of speed-limit violation and careless driving behavior. These results suggested that there are many differences in traffic environments and driver's behaviors among regional areas. These result suggests that traffic safety policy and practice should be prepared based upon the peculiarities of regional area. We discussed these resulte in terms of the regional traffic policy and the suggestions for future studies were added.

  • The objective of this study is examining regional differentiation of private brand customer. Factors found to influence private brand purchase intention included familiarity with private brand, perceived value, store loyalty, perceived risk, perceived quality variation between national and private brand products. For testing the research model, data were collected in Seoul and Busan. The hypothetical paths included in model are supported. There are regional differentiations in 1) negative relation of perceived quality variation and perceived value, 2) positive relation of familiarity and purchase intention, and 3) positive relation of store royalty and purchase intention.

  • The aims of this study are to determine if the perceived risk of e commerce affect the Internet shopping mall users'decision to pre-purchase an item via e commerce, to find out if there are differences among the induced perceived risk according to gender, and to verify if the perceived risk according to gender have a correlation to a person's decision to pre-purchase an item via e commerce. It was found from the analysis of the collected data that there are five factors of perceived risk of e commerce: economic risk, the product performance risk, social risk, technology/time loss risk, and privacy risk. First, the collected data were analyzed to determine if the perceived risk of e commerce affect people's purchase intentions, and on the matter of whether there are differences among the pre-perceived risk according to sender, As regards the differences among the relationships between the pre-perceived risk of e commerce and the purchase intention of the Internet shopping mall users based on gender. It can thus be concluded that the pre-perceived risk of e commerce affect the Internet shopping mall users purchase intention. Different results were obtained, though, according to sender. This means e commerce purchasers can use these results to recognize the risk of e commerce.
