Lever Arm Compensation of Reference Trajectory for Flight Performance Evaluation of DGPS/INS installed on Aircraft (항공기에 탑재된 DGPS/INS 복합항법 장치의 비행 시험 성능 평가를 위한 기준궤적의 Lever Arm 보정)

  • It has been studied for DGPS/INS(Differential Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System) to offer the more precise and reliable navigation data with the aviation industry development. The flight performance evaluation of navigation system is very significant because the reliability of navigation data directly affect the safety of aircraft. Especially, the high-level navigation system, as DGPS/INS, need more precise flight performance evaluation method. The performance analysis is performed by comparing between the DGPS/INS navigation data and reference trajectory which is more precise than DGPS/INS. The GPS receiver, which is capable of post-processed CDGPS(Carrier-phase DGPS) method, can be used as reference system. Generally, the DGPS/INS is estimated the CG(Center of Gravity) point of aircraft while the reference system is output the position of GPS antenna which is mounted on the outside of aircraft. For this reason, estimated error between DGPS/INS and reference system will include the error due to lever arm. In order to more precise performance evaluation, it is needed to compensate the lever arm. This paper presents procedure and result of flight test which includes lever arm compensation in order to verify reliability and performance of DGPS/INS more precisely.

Development of Photogrammetric Rectification Method Applying Bayesian Approach for High Quality 3D Contents Production (고품질의 3D 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 베이지안 접근방식의 사진측량기반 편위수정기법 개발)

  • This paper proposes a photogrammetric rectification method based on Bayesian approach as a method that eliminates vertical parallax between stereo images to minimize visual fatigue of 3D contents. The image rectification consists of two phases; geometry estimation and epipolar transformation. For geometry estimation, coplanarity-based relative orientation algorithm was used in this paper. To ensure robustness for mismatch and localization error occurred by automation of tie point extraction, Bayesian approach was applied by introducing several prior constraints. As epipolar transformation perspective transformation was used based on condition of collinearity to minimize distortion of result images and modification for input images. Other algorithms were compared to evaluate performance. For geometry estimation, traditional relative orientation algorithm, 8-points algorithm and stereo calibration algorithm were employed. For epipolar transformation, Hartley algorithm and Bouguet algorithm were employed. The evaluation results showed that the proposed algorithm produced results with high accuracy, robustness about error sources and minimum image modification.

  • Data acquisition is as important as data processing and interpretation in the field of marine geophysical exploration. Marine geophysicist, however, may not have enough information in this field because data acquisition method has been mainly developed by the commercial companies manufacturing the equipment. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to introduce the general data acquisition method and information to help to construct the systematic and effective survey plan. When a survey plan is set up, the most important thing is to select the seismic equipment based on required penetration depth and resolution, and then construct the survey line intervals. Although a line interval varies from the research purposes, it should be narrower than the expected subsurface structures. Also, if 100% coverage of multibeam data is required, line intervals need to be adjusted based on the equipment characteristics. In case of merging with the preexisting dataset like bathymetry, gravity and magnetic, cross-over errors occurred at the each cross point should be removed to avoid any kinds of misinterpretation.

  • 최근의 극심한 기상이변으로 인하여 발생되는 유출량의 예측에 관한 사항은 치수 이수는 물론 방재의 측면에서도 역시 매우 중요한 관심사로 부각되고 있다. 강우-유출 관계는 유역의 수많은 시 공간적 변수들에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에 매우 복잡하여 예측하기 힘든 요소이며, 과거에는 추계학적 예측모형이나 확정론적 예측모형 혹은 경험적 모형 등을 사용하여 유출량을 예측하였으나 최근에는 인공신경망과 퍼지모형 그리고 유전자 알고리즘과 같은 인공지능기반의 모형들이 많이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 유출량을 예측하고자 할 때 학습자료 및 검정자료로써 사용되는 유출량은 수위-유량 관계곡선식으로부터 구하는 경우가 대부분으로 이는 이렇게 유도된 유출량의 경우 오차가 크기 때문에 그 신뢰성에 문제가 있을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수위를 직접 예측함으로써 이러한 오차의 문제점을 극복 하고자 한다. Neuro-Fuzzy 모형은 과거자료의 입 출력 패턴에서 정보를 추출하여 지식으로 보유하고, 이를 근거로 새로운 상황에 대한 해답을 제시하도록 하는 인공지능분야의 학습기법으로 인간이 과거의 경험과 훈련으로 지식을 축적하듯이 시스템의 입 출력에 의하여 소속함수를 최적화함으로서 모형의 구조를 스스로 조직화한다. 따라서 수학적 알고리즘의 적용이 어려운 강우와 유출관계를 하천유역이라는 시스템에서 발생된 신호체계의 입 출력패턴으로 간주하고 인간의 사고과정을 근거로 추론과정을 거쳐 수문계의 예측에 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 유전자 알고리즘은 적자생존의 생물학 원리에 바탕을 둔 최적화 기법중의 하나로 자연계의 생명체 중 환경에 잘 적응한 개체가 좀 더 많은 자손을 남길 수 있다는 자연선택 과정과 유전자의 변화를 통해서 좋은 방향으로 발전해 나간다는 자연 진화의 과정인 자연계의 유전자 메커니즘에 바탕을 둔 탐색 알고리즘이다. 즉, 자연계의 유전과 진화 메커니즘을 공학적으로 모델화함으로써 잠재적인 해의 후보들을 모아 군집을 형성한 뒤 서로간의 교배 혹은 변이를 통해서 최적 해를 찾는 계산 모델이다. 이러한 유전자 알고리즘은 전역 샘플링을 중심으로 한 수법으로 해 공간상에서 유전자의 개수만큼 복수의 탐색점을 설정할 뿐만 아니라 교배와 돌연변이 등으로 좁아지는 탐색점 바깥의 영역으로 탐색을 확장할 수 있기 때문에 지역해에 빠질 위험성이 크게 줄어든다. 따라서 예측과 패턴인식에 강한 뉴로퍼지 모형의 해 탐색방법을 유전자 알고리즘을 사용한다면 보다 정확한 해를 찾는 것이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 선행우량 및 상류의 수위자료로부터 하류의 단시간 수위예측에 관해 연구하였으며, 이를 위해 유전자 알고리즘을 이용항여 소속함수를 최적화 시키는 형태의 Neuro-Fuzzy모형에 대하여 연구하였다.

Optimization on the Stability of Coconut Oil in Water Emulsion Using Response Surface Methodology (반응표면분석법을 이용한 Coconut Oil 원료 O/W 유화액의 유화안정성 최적화)

  • In this study, an optimization for the emulsification process with coconut oil and sugar ester was performed in conjunction with the central composite design (CCD) model of response surface methodology (RSM). Response values for the CCD model were the viscosity of the emulsion, mean droplet size, and emulsion stability index (ESI) after 7days from the reaction. On the other hand, the emulsification time, emulsification rate, and amount of emulsifier were selected as quantitative factors. According to the result of CCD, optimum conditions for the emulsification were as follows; the emulsification time of 22.63 min, emulsification speed of 6,627.41 rpm, and amount of emulsifier of 2.29 wt.%. Under these conditions, the viscosity, mean droplet size, and emulsion stability index (ESI) after 7 days from reaction were estimated as 1,707.56 cP, 1877.05 nm, and 93.23%, respectively. The comprehensive satisfaction of the CCD was indicated as 0.8848 with an average error of $1.2{\pm}0.1%$ from the experiment compared to that of the theoretical one. Overall, a very low error rate could be obtained when the central composite model was applied to the optimized coconut oil to water emulsification.

The Study on Properties and Application of Enhanced Dynamic Wedge Factor (향상된 동적쐐기인자(Enhanced Dynamic Wedge Factor)의 특성 및 적용에 관한 고찰)

  • Purpose: We try to calculate EDW-factor easily with the formula applies essential data of EDW-factor and evaluate the validity through a measurement. Materials and Methods: We used the given value of GSTT (Golden Segmented Treatment Table) for the calculation of the EDW-factor. As to the experimental device, 0.6 cc farmer-type ion-chamber, an electrometer and water- phantom were used. A measurement was made at the maximum dose depth of the photon beam energy 6 MV and 15 MV under the condition that SSD (Source to Surface Distance) was 100 cm. The angle of the EDW (Enhanced Dynamic Wedge) which we use in an experiment was 60 degree, 30 degree, 20 degree in the Y1-OUT direction. We used Eclipse planning system (Varian, USA) as RTP system and the EDW-factor was calculated about all fields and EDW direction. In order to show the EDW-factor feature, a measurement was made at the selected field that verify the influence of the dependability about X, Y jaw and off-axis field. Results: When we change the Y1 field, it influence on the EDW-Factor and measured value. But the error between measured values and calculated values was less than 1%. The experimental result indicated the tendency that the error of the result of calculation and measured value becomes smaller as the EDW angle become smaller whether the calculation point (measurement point) and iso-center are same or not. The influence of the field size and energy did not show up. We simulated with the same condition using the RTP system. And we found that it makes no difference between the MU which is calculated manually by applying the EDW-Factor obtained from the commercial program and the value which is calculated by using RTP system. Conclusion: We excluded fitting value from well-known EDW-Factor formula and calculated EDW-factor with the formula applies essential data of EDW-factor only. As a result, there are no significant difference between the measured value and calculated value and it showed errors less than 1%. Also, we implemented the commercial program to calculate EDW-Factor conveniently without measure a factor on each field.

QA of a stereotactic radiosurgery system for clinical application (정위방사선수술 시스템의 임상 적용을 위한 QA)

  • We developed a sterotactic radiosurgery system which is comprised of 1) collimators with small circular aperture, 2) an angiographic target localizer, 3) a target localizer used for alignment of planned target position with isocenter of treatment machine, and 4) a treatment planning system named LinaPel. In this study, we performed a series of treatment simulations to specify and analyze geometrical errors contained our in-house radiosurgery system. As results, 1) using Geometrical Phantom(Radionics,USA), the accuracy of target localization by LinaPel was determined as Avg. =(equation omitted) the accuracy of mechanical isocenter was found out to be 0.6 $\pm$ 0.2 mm, 3) the positional difference of target localization which determined by CT and angiography was 0.8 mm, and their size difference was 1.5 mm, and 4) the positional error during whole treatment was found out to be 0.9 $\pm$ 0.3 mm. With these results, we concluded that our in-house radiosurgery system can be used clinically. However, these range of accuracies need periodical quality assurance strongly.

Measurement of Gravity Center for Rotor Blades by Compensation of Machining Error in Jig (지그의 가공오차 보정에 의한 블레이드 무게 중심 측정)

  • There are many unbalanced models such as helicopter's rotor blades, small-sized precision motor in industrial applications. In the real products, their gravity center usually does not accord with the desired gravity center. If the deviation is large between them, it can be a major cause of vibration and noise as the part of model rotate. Therefore the gravity center in the rotational parts should be controlled properly because of static and dynamic balancing of the parts. In the research, the rotor blade of unmanned helicopter has been selected to obtain the high quality of balancing. In order to achieve the purpose, measuring system has been developed. In the system applied principle is three point weighting method, which is one of the Multiple-point Weighting Method. It has circle fitting for compensation of machining error, after measuring the values. From this study, the results showed that the proposed measurement procedure gives reliable and precise gravity center.

A Noise-Robust Measuring Algorithm for Small Tubes Based on an Iterative Statistical Method (통계적 반복법에 기반한 노이즈에 강한 소형튜브 측정 알고리즘 개발)

  • We propose a novel algorithm for measuring the radius of tubes. This proposed algorithm is capable of effectively removing added noise and measuring the radius of tubes within allowable precision. The noise is removed by using a candidate true center that minimizes the standard deviation with respect to the radius. Further, the disconnection in data points resulting from noise removal is solved by using a connection algorithm. The final step of the process is repeated until the value of the standard deviation decreases to a small predefined value. Experiments were performed using circle geometries with added noise and a real tube with complex noise and that is used in the braking units of automobiles. It was concluded that the measurement carried out using the algorithm was accurate within 1.4%, even with 15% added noise.

  • In this paper, we propose a new dataset for AI diagnosis and BLDC motor diagnosis in UAV. In the diagnosis of BLDC motor, PVA(Park's Vector Approach) is difficult to apply due to many ripples of frequency components. However, since the components of ripples are the third harmonics, we propose a method to utilize PVA as circle fitting by applying Savitzky-Golay filter which is excellent for the third harmonics. On the other hand, PVA, a technique to convert from three-phase to two-phase, is always based on the origin during the transformation process. This study demonstrates that the error of the origin and the measured center can be detected and diagnosed in the application process of Circle fitting, and that it can be used as a new data set of AI technology.
