Making for Circular Motion Table for Controller Design of Movement of Object (운동 물체의 제어기 설계를 위한 3축 가변 원판형 모션테이블 제작)

  • In this paper, a circular motion table which is able to simulate movement of object is designed and the experiment of control system using circular motion table is presented. Circular motion table is consisted of three axes changed on length and of ball splines which keep vertical centre axis of circular plate. Variable length of three axes make circular plate incline as vertical centre axis is kept on vertical center axis of circular motion table. It is designed that control system drives three servo motor, that is, make change length of axis simultaneously or independently. And this paper presents example of flight simulation using circular motion table. it will contribute toward nurture expert manpower of aerospace/robotics to popularize circular motion table and make an experiment using it.

An Analysis of Mathematics Instruction Focused on Discourse-Based Communication (담화 중심 수학적 의사소통 수업의 분석)

  • Mathematical communication has been emphasized not only as the process of learning mathematics but also as the objective of mathematics education. However, little studies have been conducted with regard to what to consider and how to implement in the actual classroom for promoting mathematical communication. Given this background, this paper implemented a mathematics instruction in each of 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade classrooms in which specific learning objectives were considered to promote discourse-based mathematical communication. It then analyzed the degree by which such learning objectives were achieved and the linguistic interactions between the teacher and students in each classroom. This paper finally provided issues and suggestions for effective discourse-based instruction in mathematics classroom by analyzing similarities and differences among the three classrooms.

A Study on the Research Trend Analysis of AEO Certification System through SNA Analysis (SNA분석을 통한 AEO 인증제도 연구동향 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the research trends and characteristics of existing research related to the AEO system. The methodology of the study was to utilize the Degree Centrality, Closeness Centrality and Betweenness Centrality presented by the Social Network Analysis (SNA). Keyword network analysis results showed that "MRA", "Logistics Security" were derived from the Degree Centrality results, "MRA", "Logistics Security" from the Closeness Centrality results, and, as a result of the Betweenness Centrality, "AEO Utilization Benefits" and "reliability" were derived from the top keyword results. The analysis of differences in centrality by period also confirmed that trends in research have changed based on specific time points. This study has implications for the study in that it presented worldwide research trends through keyword network analysis of the AEO system.

  • The semantic web is an emerging paradigm in the information retrieval and Web-based system. This paper deals with a Web change detection system which employs the semantic web and ontology. While existing Web change detection systems detect the syntactic change, the proposed system focuses on the detection of the semantic change. The system detects the change only when the web has semantic change. To achieve this, the system employs the domain-specific ontology (e.g., computer science professional person information in the paper). The Web pages regarding before and after change are converted according to the ontology. Then the comparison is performed. The experimental result shows the semantic-based change detection is more useful than the syntax-based change detection.

  • The purpose of this study was to bring together evidence of the operation and impact of legislation to prohibit age discrimination in those countries that have such laws. We identified 5 countries with extensive age discrimination legislation: the US, Canada, Australia, Finland and Republic of Ireland. The objectives and cultural context of age discrimination lesgislation, which plays a large part in each country determining what type of lesgislation is deemed to be appropriate. The effeciveness or impact of the legislation, in terms of progress towards these objectives. Some key issues where choices of emphasis will need to be made in the introduction of new legislation to reduce age discrimination.

Discussions About the Three Aspects of Scientific Literacy: Focus on Integrative Understanding, Settlement in Curriculum, and Civic Education (과학적 소양에 대한 세 가지 논의 -통합적 이해, 교육과정에의 정착, 시민교육을 중심으로-)

  • There have been many discussions about scientific literacy (SL), which caused many science educators concern for many years. This paper focuses on three aspects about SL. First, there are various opinions, and components or types of SL. Second, it has been pointed out that the reconciliation between curriculum focusing on SL and curriculum focusing on scientific knowledge system is difficult. Third, the level of SL of citizens who learned science in schools is not so high. Related to these aspects, this paper suggests three recommendations. First, the paper suggests three dimensional model of SL and some examples of its application. Second, elementary and middle school focus on SL in their science curriculum and high school focuses on scientific knowledge system in the curriculum for preparing for future jobs. Third, we need to give efforts to lifelong science eduction for citizens' SL as well as school teachings for SL. In the conclusion section, it is described what aspects should be additionally considered for the discussions and recommendations about three aspects of SL.

  • This research aims to explore the direction to promote maker-centered education and draw implications on the design and practice of teacher's professional development program by studying a case. To achieve the research objective, the research context was set on a teacher's training program provided by the S district office of education in Seoul, and the quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted to deduce the teacher's requirements for establishing and promoting maker-centered education after participating in the program as well as analyzing the effectiveness of the 5-days training program. From the results, this study contributes to suggesting implications on activating maker-centered education and providing the curriculum and instructional designs of teacher's professional development through the case participated by teachers who play a crucial role in performing and practicing innovative teaching methods and educational policy in real educational contexts.

컴퓨터 교육의 문제점에 대한 실증적 연구

  • 정보화 시대에 살고있는 우리는 교육의 패러다임 변화요청에 부응하여 교사 중심의 교육 환경을 학습자 중심의 선택에 강조점을 두고 교육을 실시하여야 한다. 그리고 양질의 교육환경이 좋은 교육효과를 낳을 수 있다는 점에서 컴퓨터 교육 환경의 현황을 파악하고 그 개선 방향을 제시하는 것이 시의 적절한 연구라 할 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 전북 지역에 있는 고등학교를 대상으로 컴퓨터 교육의 환경과 그 실효성에 대한 자료조사를 설문지와 면접법을 통해 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 수업 만족도 , 전산실 사용 만족도를 중심으로 전체를 분석하고 인문계 고교와 실업계 고교 ,그리고 남학생과 여학생의 의견도 각각 분석하였다. 그 결과는 모든학생들이 컴퓨터 수업과 전산실 사용에 불만족을 느끼고 있었으며 주요한 이유는 컴퓨터 시설의 미흡과 컴퓨터를 전공한 전문 교사의 부족함등으로 나타났다. 결론으로 컴퓨터 교육을 활성화하기 위해서 정부는 교육용 컴퓨터보급, 교사용 컴퓨터보급, 교육용 소프트웨어 개발 보급영역, 컴퓨터 교육을 대학에서 4년동안 전공한 전문 교사의 현장배치의 시급함등 네 가지 부분에 주력해야 함을 제시한다.

Calculate of flattened Centroid and Orientation in 3D tube Structure (3차원 튜브 구조의 평면 중심과 방향성 연산)

  • 본 논문 에서는 3차원 튜브 형태의 구조를 3차원 좌표를 갖는 점집합으로 추출했을 때, 이 점 집합에서 튜브를 관통하는 단위 벡터 및 방향성(orientation)을 구하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이 알고리즘은 3차원 좌표를 정사영시킴으로써 2차원으로 차수를 낮추고, 그 처리를 간단하게 하였다. 또 내부를 구성하는 최대 넓이 폐곡선을 구성하는 점을 선택하는 방법을 제안하였다. 실험에서 제안한 방법은 정규화 된 튜브를 처리했을 때 중심(centroid) 및 방향성(orientation)을 의도한 값과 거의 동일하게 얻을 수 있었다.

Development Pattern of Container Port and its Implications on Hub Port Strategy (컨테이너항만의 발전패턴과 중심항만전략에의 시사점)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지난 20년 간 세계 컨테이너항만들을 대상으로 항만집중도 및 항만규모와 성장간 상관관계를 분석해 봄으로써 현재 우리나라가 추진하고 있는 중심항만 개발전략에 대한 시사점을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 아시아 21개 항만의 허쉬만-허핀달지수를 구하였으며, 세계 50대 컨테이너 항만뿐만 아니라 유럽, 북미 그리고 아시아지역 컨테이너항만들을 대상으로 항만규모와 성장간 실증분석을 시도하였다. 그 결과 아시아 컨테이너항만의 물동량 집중도는 90년대 중반 이후 둔화되고 있으며 동북아지역 항만집중도가 다른 지역에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 항만규모와 성장간 관계에 있어서도 세계 및 유럽 항만들은 대형항만일수록 성장률이 높았던 것으로 나타난 반면, 아시아지역 컨테이너 항만들은 소형항만들의 성장률이 더 높았던 것으로 분석되었다.
