This study aims to analyze the word based classification used in U.S. public libraries and their implications for Korean libraries. For this purpose, eleven U.S. public libraries using the word based classification system were selected and the specific classification types, their motivation, collection size, methods used in the conversion from DDC, and pros and cons were examined. The result of the analysis shows that the word based classification system may be categorized into the two types: Dewey-free or Dewey-lite and its application methods are different case by case. As a result, the positive impacts and implied problems of the word based classification system for library use and library operation were examined. In addition, the new system's implications on the Korean libraries were also discussed.

This article examines the types and cooking methods of Emandoo as recorded in 15 royal palace studies and 8 old literature texts of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1909). Early Joseon Dynasty kind of Emandoo one kind, two kinds of mid and late 15 kinds, a total of 18 paper was introduced. A Emandoo ingredient materials of a pheasant, chicken, beef, abalone, sea cucumber, etc. were used. Emandoo were able to see that the current 'mulmandu' form of life that icing on the water after the starch into a small thin sliced fish flesh. The size of a Emandoo made small clams. The use of 'Gocho (苦椒)' on Chojang(醋醬), starting with 'emandoo" of Muhsin jinchan Euigwe"(1848) Further study will be conducted on recipes and ingredients recorded in these Euigwe and old books in order to develop a standardized recipe to make Emandoo appealing to a global palate.

Since realtime search words are centered on the fact that the search growth rate of an issue is rapidly increasing in a short period of time, it is not possible to express an issue that maintains interest for a certain period of time. In order to overcome these limitations, this paper evaluates the daily and hourly persistence of the realtime words that belong to the top 10 for a certain period of time and extracts the search word that are constantly interested. Then, we present the method of using the time series analysis and the neural network to know how the interest of the upper search word changes, and show the result of forecasting the near future change through the actual example derived through the method. It can be seen that forecasting through time series analysis by date and artificial neural networks learning by time shows good results.

This paper aims to analyze the Award wage system in Australia for construction workers. Considering low wages and precarious employment situation of construction workers in general, it is of advantage especially for them in Australia. Furthermore, it seems to be instructive for Korean construction workers, who stand in more precarious and unstable situation and furthermore are lack of fair wage and social safety. After strong and longstanding labour struggle in the late 19th century in Australia, it has been established a tripartite institution called as 'tribunal' between trade unions, employers, and the government. Under the highly institutionalized form of industrial relations, it functions as an arbitration and conciliation system between labour and management. The Award wage system stands in the middle point. This Award wage system including various welfare provisions is settled by the tribunal, today renamed as Fair Work Commission. In this wage system should be defined level of minimum wages according to the various skill levels, which are in turn connected with compulsory superannuation and Medicare as well as vocational education and training. Furthermore, it provides especially for the construction workers, who suffer from job instability, so-called 'portable benefits', which relate to long service leave and redundancy pay. Considering general conditions of precarious construction workers in Korea, In that respect, the Australian Award wage system would be very instructive for our social wage and safety system for construction workers.

This research is about alternative measure of main components for sprinkler system like automatic wet pipe sprinkler system, dry pipe sprinkler system, pre-action sprinkler system, vacuum sprinkler system, deluge sprinkler system, and so on. By replacing the alarm check valve, dry valve, pre-operated valve, and deluge open valve with a solenoid valve, it be can be simplifed the various processes of the manufacturing process into one process, it creates an environment in which one standardized product can be produced simultaneously on a single machine. Therefore, it could improve the price competitiveness of products, reduce the maintenance cost, and help the adaptability of new sprinkler systems in the future. There is a benefit when it comes to apply to sprinkler system. Only replace the valve which is used to control primary and secondary valve such as wet, dry, pre operated, vacuum, deluge system valve. Other components such as retarding chambers, automatic air compressors, accelerators or adjusters, supervisory panels, vacuum pumps, and manual starters can be used as they are, so they can be easily applied to existing sprinkler system. It is needed to legal and institutional study for solenoid valve applied sprinkler system to commercialize.

As a way of identifying users' image needs for improved effectiveness of image search, there have been recent research approaches to examine contextual factors in image needs with multiple perspectives. In this line of research, this study examined a total of 70 unsuccessful image searches for the purpose of investigating users' image needs. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, in particular, the characteristics of image needs, contextual factors on image needs, and image queries were investigated. The findings of this study demonstrated that information needs from the failed image searches are categorized primarily into specific and general/nameable categories. More importantly, these information needs are embedded with multiple contextual factors, primarily, task purpose and use purpose. With an analysis of detailed use purposes for image, illustration use was found most in this data set. For query analysis, the type of unique/refined image query was revealed primarily. As the results of this study were found similar to the findings of previous studies, it is possible to characterize the image needs from the failed image searches. In addition, the findings of this study are expected to be useful to the design and service of image retrieval.

Enactivism is the most influential and groundbreaking approach among the various theories of embodied cognition. Despite of it's impact and relatively long history, however, Enactivism is still considered as a new and unfamiliar theory in the Korean academic society. Even though this might be partly due to the genuine depth and dramatic approach of Enactivism, it is also due to the disagreement of Korean translation of Enactivism. This paper reviews the philosophical and theoretical implications of Enactivism in the context of history and conceptual terrain, and discusses how the various tranlated Korean words of 'Enaction' - '발제(發製)' '구성(構成)', or '행위화(行爲化)'- embraced and interpreted the essence of philosophy and concept of 'Enaction' and 'Enactivism'. Furthermore, we offer several alternatives Korean translations of 'Enaction': '실행(實行)', 수행(遂行/修行), or 작동(作動). Through this discussion, we hope to provide an opportunity for Korean researchers and philosophers to direct their attention to Enactivism properly and to make a common ground for further development of Enactivism in Korea.

The traditional way of access to image information is through descriptive keyword searching. However, many studies in image indexing and retrieval have reached a consensus on the difficulties and limitations of text-base image description. This research investigates the feasibility of using visual browsing that is being used comparatively much less than keyword searching. The effectiveness of Keyword access versus visual access were examined through experiments in which participants searched for pictures of specified emotions using different access modes: keywords only, visual browsing only, and the combination of both. It was found that keyword searching was appropriate for clean searches while visual browsing was the effective way to browse many pictures quickly, thus finding more relevant pictures. Findings and results can guide of images retrieval systems, especially the retrieval system of subjective and interpretive information.
