R&BD Performance Analysis of Defense Venture Program Using DEA (DEA를 활용한 국방벤처 지원사업 연구개발 및 사업화 성과 분석)

  • The defense venture support program supports development so that it can be applied to the defense sector based on their technology and ideas to revitalize the private advancement of small and medium-sized enterprises to the defense sector. Since 2015, it has been operated with contributions from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and has supported 84 projects. Moreover, it is an early stage in which results have been derived after 2018. In this study, the R&BD efficiency derived according to the budget for each project was compared using data envelopment analysis and classified and analyzed according to the characteristics of each project to identify the performance factors for each outstanding project. Based on the analysis results, this study considered support plans for efficient support programs and continuous performance creation in the future. As a result, it is expected that the effectiveness of the defense venture support project will be strengthened, and excellent performance will be expanded based on this study.

Empirical research on the influence of spatial competition in the distribution industry on consumer behaviors in South Korea (유통업태간 경쟁구도가 소비행태에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • When Korea's retail industry was liberalized, new store formats such as large discount stores and Super Supermarket(SSMs) have grown. New types of business have borne significant influence on traditional market. Traditional markets have been in gradual decline since they fail to meet to consumer's purchasing behavior. The South Korean government has been making sustained efforts to revitalize the modernization of traditional markets since 2004. This research is conducted to analyze how changes in the distribution of different types of distributors influence the consumer's purchasing behaviors depending on the changes in the market environment. The purpose of this research is to present a policy to invigorate consumer-oriented traditional markets by analyzing the consumption behavior among major retail channels at a point when competition among retail channels is becoming intensified. In order to examine the effect of the spatial competitive landscape among major retail channels on consumption behavior, an empirical analysis was conducted with 613 consumers in 6 cities nationwide, using the multiple regression model. This research identified three main areas of factors. The analysis result indicates that the physical factor (time required to go to the traditional market), socioeconomic factors (the number of vehicles owned and average monthly income), and competitive factors (intensity of competition in spatial locations and average monthly spending in supermarkets) have significant influence on consumption patterns of consumers. The findings present that the Korean government should go ahead with policies aimed to revitalize traditional markets, keeping in mind the factors that influence the consumption patterns of customers based on these results. We propose that the policy supporting traditional markets need to be a customized-strategy, considering traditional market's characteristic.

  • The Korean distribution industry is gearing up for an endless competition. Greeting low growth era, less competitive parties will be challanged seriously for their survival. But for large discount stores, they have shown steady annual growth for years. However, because of the saturation for numbers of stores, the difficulty of gaining new sites, and the changes in the consumer's consumption behavior caused by the recession, now they are seeking for a new customers-based business formats. Accordingly, a large corporate comopanies made supermarkets which are belonged to affiliated companies of large corporate comopanies. They based on the strong buying power, focused on SSM(Super Super Market) ave been aggressively develop nationwide multi-stores. The point is that these stores are threatening at small and medium-sized, community-based private supermarkets. Private supermarkets and retailers, who are using existing old operation systems and their dilapidated facilities, are losing a competitive edge in business. Recent the social effects of large series of corporate supermarkets for traditional markets has been very controversial, and commercial media, academia, and industry associated with it have been held many seminars and public hearings. This may slow down the speed in accordance with the regulations, but will not be the crucial alternative. The reason for this recent surge of enterprise-class SSM up, one of the reasons is a stagnation in their offline discount mart, so they are finding new growth areas. Already in the form of large supermarkets across the country got most of the geographical centre point and is saturated with stages. Targeting small businesses that do not cover discount Mart, in order to expand business in the form of SSM is urgent. By contrast, private supermarkets are going to lose their competitiveness. The vulnerability of individual supermarkets, one of the vulnerabilities is price which economies of scale can not be realized so they are purchasing a small amount of products and difficult to get a quantity discount. The lack of organization and collaboration, and education which is not practical, caused the absencer of service-oriented situations. As a first solution, making specialty shops which are handling agricultures, fruits and vegetables and manufactured goods is recommended. Second, private supermarkets franchisees join the organization for the organization and collaboration is recomaned. It can be meet the scale of economy and can be formed a alternative business formats to a government. Third, the education is needed as a good service will get consumer's awareness. In addition, a psychological stores operating is also one way to stimulate consumer sentiment as SSM can't operate. Japan already has a better conditions of their lives through small chain expression. This study includes the vulnerabilities of private supermarkets, and suggests a competitiveness reinforcement strategies.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the policy direction for promoting Korean grape, Shine Muscat, export to China. For this, the data were collected from 102 Chinese who live in Guangzhou province. The survey was conducted from Oct 10th to 13th 2017. PLS-SEM model is used to investigate the main factors that cause the Chinese consumers to purchase Korean grape, Shine Muscat. This study finds that the post-evaluation factor is more important to obtain final evaluation and to purchase Korean grape in the future. Thus farmers and research institutes should investigate how to improve the quality for the sweetness and the texture of the grape, reflecting the Chinese consumers' preference.

  • Recent aspects of terrorism varies in various ways according to means, targets, and regions. In particular, the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States in 2001 changed the paradigm of each country's terrorism, and the South Korea also participated in the enactment and enforcement of the Anti-Terrorism Act in 2016. Based on this, CBRN terrorism is included in general terrorism, and the National Police Agency plays the role of a control tower, and a system supported by related organizations such as the Ministry of Environment is being built and operated. However, restrictions were confirmed in the organizational system, manpower composition, and equipment and materials in operation in preparation for CBRN within the police. Based on the identified limitations, we proposed improvement plans to strengthen the capacity for CBRN terrorism: establishing a dedicated CBRN organization; creating research organization; and securing additional dedicated personnel. Based on this, as an improvement plan to strengthen the capability of CBRN, the establishment of an organization dedicated to CBRN and a research organization within the National Police Agency, and expansion of electronic equipment suitable for the characteristics of CBRN were proposed. It is expected that the police's on-site response capability system for CBRN terrorism will be strengthened via the proposed improvement measures to recover the various restrictions on the response to CBRN terrorism.

  • 지적재산권은 기술개발의욕 자극을 위해 새로이 물건이나 사상 등의 창작자에게 일종의 배타적 독점권을 부여한 것으로서 1980년대 이후 국제적 관심이 고조되기 시작하였는데, 두 차례의 석유파동 이후 기술이 국제 경쟁력의 주요 결정요인으로 등장하던 시기에 한국을 비롯한 개도국들이 선진국의 기술을 모방하여 첨단기술제품 분야에서 경쟁적 우위를 확보하자 자신들의 경쟁력 확보를 위해 선진국들이 자신들의 통상교섭력을 바탕으로 GATT/UR 등 국제적 협상을 통해 지적재산권 보호문제를 통상문제로 확대시킨 것이다. 이러한 지적재산권에 대한 통상문제와 관련하여 가장 문제가 되는 국가는 역시 미국인데, 미국은 통상법 301조 중 지적재산권 보호에 적용되는 Special 301조를 이용하여 지적재산권 보호에 대한 실효성을 확보하였으며, 당초 제품수입상의 불공정거래행위에 적용하던 관세법 337조를 지적재산권을 침해하는 수입 판매행위에도 적용할 수 있도록 개정함으로써 그 보호수단을 더욱 강화하였는데, 이에 따라 우리도 적절한 대응방안의 모색이 요구되고 있다. 우선 정부의 입장에서는 대내적으로 원천기술 및 개량기술 개발을 통한 기술의 해외의존도 축소, 인센티브 도입 등 직무발명제도 활성화, 해외특허권 취득확대를 위한 중소기업의 해외출원비용 지원, 심사관의 전문화롤 통한 심사의 처리속도 및 질 향상, 특허기술정보 이용체제 개선을 위한 특허청의 정보전산화 및 산업기술정보원 톡허정보센타와의 유기적인 협조체제 구축, 기업의 특허분쟁대응능력 향상을 위한 전담부서 마련 및 국제특허분쟁 전문변리사 양성 등의 대안을 마련할 필요가 있으며, 대외적으로는 PLT협약 등 차후에 있을 국제협약에의 적극적인 참여를 통한 우리나라의 이익도모, 남북 가교역할의 강화 및 한 미 양국간의 법제적 차이에 대한 오해불식, 해당 산업에 영향을 줄 수 있는 로비 활동의 활성화 등의 대안이 필요하다. 또한 기업의 입장에서는 사전적으로 과감한 연구개발투자를 통한 산업재산권 확보, 기술 법률 언어능력을 고루 갖춘 특허전문가의 확보, 국제특허분쟁에 대한 대응체계 구축, 특허권 분쟁발생 방지를 위한 책임소재의 명확화 등의 근본적인 대책과 국제특허분쟁 차단을 위한 철저한 선행기술 조사, 해외기술의 개량 및 이용 촉진을 위한 크로스-라이센스의 활성화, 부실특허권에 대한 적극적인 무효심판청구, 제소정보에 대한 조기 입수, 설계변경이나 특허무효자료조사 등 침해회피 방법의 준비, 위험특허에 대한 철저한 예비조사 등의 부수적인 대책을 마련할 필요가 있으며, 일단 특허분쟁이 발생한 경우에는 당해 분쟁의 자사 생산 제품과의 관련여부 검토, 사건에 필요한 광범위한 정보 수집을 위한 전담팀 구성, 제소인의 특허권에 대한 면밀한 법률적 검토, 제소자에 대한 정확한 정보파악 및 최종 대응방안에 대한 신속한 결정, 자사의 특허를 이용한 제소자에 대한 역제소 등의 대응방안을 강구할 필요가 있는 것이다.

A Study on the Structural Relationship between Employee Services and Store Loyalty (종업원 서비스와 점포충성도간의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구)

  • Store loyalty is increasingly being recognized as a path to long-term business profitability. Customer contact employees deliver a service firm's promises and create an important image for the firm. A major purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of customer service and product value on store loyalty. In order to test research hypotheses, data were collected through surveys administered to 300 apparel store customers. Two hundred thirty nine usable data were used for the analysis. The findings of this research are as follows: First, a employee's voluntary service(EVS) has a positive impact on interpersonal r elationship, which then affects switching barrier and store loyalty. Second, a employee's regular service(ERS) has an influence on store satisfaction, which in turn affect store loyalty. Third, product value is shown to be a significant antecedent to store satisfaction, which have a direct effect on store loyalty. The study concludes with implications, contributions, and limitations of the research and the empirical findings of this research should be beneficial to marketing practitioners and retailing businessmen in developing effective marketing strategies.

  • Since 100PPM Quality Certification System has been established by the Industrial Advancement Administration in 1995, 100PPM duality Innovation movement has contributed much to the enhancement of qualify competitiveness of Korea's parts industry. And in 2000, raised to a higher level, Single PPM qualify Certification System has been established by the Small and Medium Business Adminstration. The quality target is below the 10ppm(parts per million) in outgoing qualify and delivered goods plus field claim. Recently 1.818 companies is received Single PPM Quality Certification from Government. Single PPM Quality Innovation movement is perfection movement which is suitable for 21C's social-economical criteria to pursuit of zero defect. The purpose of this study is to suggest the Kano Model based Global Sustainable duality Innovation(GSQI) Index to improve current problems of Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement.

Improvement of Nitrogen Oxide Removal of Concrete Sidewalk Block Using by Conductive Photocatalyst (전도성 광촉매를 이용한 콘크리트 블록의 대기중 질소산화물 저감에 관한 연구)

  • The use of TiO2 photocatalyst in the production of concrete blocks for the purpose of nitrogen oxide reduction is an issue of controversy due to the conflicting evidence on its effectiveness. Efforts have been made to reduce the level of nitrogen oxides in the environment by using of titanium dioxide (TiO2). This study examined the effect of incorporating activated carbon into concrete blocks on the reduction of nitrogen oxides released into the atmosphere and the durability of the blocks. The efficiency of photocatalyst was enhanced through the addition of a surrounding conductive substance. The addition of activated carbon resulted in a significant increase in the electrical conductivity of photocatalytic blocks and improved durability. The cement mixture using 5 % TiO2 and 15 % activated carbon exhibited the optimal mixing ratio for the purpose of nitrogen oxide removal. The effect of the addition of conductive carbon to the photocatalytic blocks was discussed with the results of conductivity, flexural and comprssive strength and nitrogen oxide removal test. The relationship between the addition of conductive carbon to the photocatalytic blocks and its resulting effects have been studied by several tests, including conductivity, flexural and compressive strength, and nitrogen oxide removal.

Analysis of Domestic Patents Related to Usefulness of Native Plants in Korea (대한민국 자생식물 유용성 관련 국내 특허 분석)

  • Native plants thrive naturally in specific areas without human intervention, offering significant potential as genetic resources and biotechnological assets across multiple sectors. To harness this potential, our focus was on analyzing domestic patents related to native plants, investigating their uses, effectiveness, active components, and extraction methods. Using the Korea Forest Service's National Standard Plant List, we gathered data from 988 patents on native plants and 430 patents on the use of native plant seeds. This comprehensive patent analysis aimed to reveal research patterns, technology levels, and emerging trends. The goal is to identify research trends, current technology levels, and provide insights for future patent applications involving native plants.
