Study on Substitution Effect caused by Application of BIM Simulation System to Mock-up Site (시공단계 현장 Mock-up의 BIM 기반 시뮬레이션 기법 적용에 의한 기대효과 분석 연구)

  • Construction project is completed through several stages and problems of each stage affect directly not only now but also next. Defect of 2D drawings influence in construction phase, and it make many loss on project. Nowadays we practically use real Mock-up test in construction sites to solve the problems. But it also has many problems which are waste much money and time. Therefore, this study tries to analyze effect that is occurred by appling BIM Mock-up simulation instead of real Mock-up execution. These analysis is conducted by comparing two construction building site. These have same shape but one is made for BIM Mock-up, and another is real Mock-up. Comparison points of view are cost, time and operator's satisfaction. It is expect that BIM Mock-up is more effective at low cost and on shorter time. But our analysis show that each are conducted different part of function. So new Mock-up type is required. Hybrid Mock-up is combine real mock-up with BIM simulation and it can minimize risk of project.

  • A dynamic analysis is carried out to provide an evaluation method of running safety for a PSC box bridge located on the Gyung-Bu high speed railway. The numerical models of bridge and train vehicle are developed in detail with corresponding interaction system. Three dimensional skeleton element model of PSC box bridge and 38-degree-of-freedom of vehicle are adopted from the existing properties of KTX bridge and train vehicle. Analysed three direction rotations of vehicle on the bridge and ground tracks are compared for running speeds up to 500 km/h with 10 km/h constant increments. The comparison of the rotations will be an improved evaluation method of Running Safety in stead of the existing standard method.

CNC Torch Path Generation for Laser Cutting of Planar Shapes (2차원 자유형상의 레이저 절단을 위한 CNC 공구경로 생성)

  • In this paper, we propose a knowledge-based method for generating CNC torch path for laser cutting of the outlines of planar shapes. The proposed method consists of two main phases: laser cutting knowledge construction and CNC torch path generation using the knowledge. In the first phase, cutting experiments are conducted on various operating parameters, and then empirical data are stored and analyzed to make up the knowledge of laser cutting. With this knowledge, we can inquire what a kerf width is for specific operating parameters. In the second phase, using the knowledge of laser cutting, CNC torch path is generated for cutting the outlines of the given planar shapes. This phase is basically based on the offset generation of each outline by a sequence of arc splines, where the offset distance is the same as the half of the kerf width determined from the constructed knowledge. The proposed method based on laser cutting knowledge makes full use of arc interpolators in CNC torch path generation. The method can efficiently reduce the number of path segments while keeping the torch path within the desired accuracy.

  • Green strength is an important property of powders since high green strength guarantees easy and safe handling before sintering. The green strength of a powder compact is related to mainly mechanical and surface characters, governed by interlocking of the particles. In this study, the effect of powder surface roughness on the green strength of iron powders was investigated using a transverse rupture test. Three-dimensional laser profiler was employed for quantitative analyses of the surface roughness. Two different surface conditions, i.e. surface roughness, of powders were compared. The powders having rough surfaces show higher green strength than the round surface powders since higher roughness leads increasing interlocked area between the contacting powders.

Characteristics of Forces upon Two-dimensional Circular Cylinder by External Singularities (외부 특이점이 2차원 원주에 작용하는 힘의 특성)

  • Thrust deduction related to the prediction of power performance of a ship is rather resistance increase, and as a preliminary study for it forces upon a circular cylinder in a uniform flow of ideal fluid due to singularities located behind it are investigated. The circle theorem is used to get the complex velocity potential for the flow field under consideration, and the Blasius theorem is applied to obtain forces upon the circular cylinder. As singularities sinks, point vortices and dipoles and their combinations are treated. $\varepsilon$, standing for the strength of a singularity, and $\delta$, representing the distance between the cylinder and the singularity, are important small parameters for the resistance and lateral forces. For sinks or point vortices it is shown that the dimensionless forces upon the cylinder is O($\epsilon$) if $\epsilon$= O($\delta$) is assumed, and the same holds for dipoles if $\epsilon$= O(${\delta}^3$) is supposed. Forces upon the cylinder by a symmetric pair of sinks are greater than a single sink located at the central plane since there is an additional term due to cross effects, and the same is also valid for the case of dipole. Combination of dipole and a point vortex is also considered and a few new aspects are clarified.

  • The occurrence of various vascular diseases due to the need for accurate and rapid diagnosis was emphasized. Several limitations to the presence of pulmonary vascular angiography for chest CT imaging was aware of the need for diversity in medical image processing with Insight Toolkit(ITK) suggested pulmonary vascular division. In this paper, by contrast, based on the value of a two-step partitioning of the lungs and blood vessels to perform the process of splitting. Lung area segmentation of each stage image enhancement, threshold value, resulting in areas of interest cut image acquisition and acquired pulmonary vascular division in lung area obtained by applying the fill area. Partitioned on the basis of pulmonary vascular imaging to obtain three-dimensional visualization image of the pulmonary vascular analysis and diagnosis of a variety of perspectives are considered possible.

Study of Beach Profile Change with a Fixed Artificial Bar Using a Numerical Model (수치모델을 이용한 인공 연안 사주가 있는 해빈 단면 변화 연구)

  • The changes of beach profile with a natural longshore bar and beach profile with a fixed artificial bar are studied, respectively, using a numerical model. The quasi three dimensional wave-current-sediment transport model is applied with an addition of boundary condition for sediment transport on the artificial structure under water. The study shows that the natural bar adapts itself to the change of coastal physical environment by adjusting its location but the fixed artificial bar causes the formation of a second natural bar seaward of the fixed bar and scouring at the rear of the fixed bar. This study can be applied to work on the change of beach profile with submerged breakwaters.

  • 하천의 생태계는 다양한 이화학적 및 생물학적 요인들에 의해 많은 영향을 받으며 그 중 수온은 수질 및 수생태계에 지대한 영향을 미치는 인자라고 할 수 있다. 하천의 수온은 인간의 활동과 도시화에 의해 인위적인 교란을 받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수온변화의 원인 중 자연에서 취수한 물에 인위적으로 열에너지를 첨가하여 수온이 높은 상태에서 다시 자연으로 방류하여 문제가 되고 있는 온배수에 초점을 맞춰 분석을 시행하고자 한다. 온배수는 하류 하천의 수질 및 그곳에 서식하는 생물들의 서식처와 같은 다양한 수환경에 직접적으로 변화를 발생시킬 수 있다. 따라서 하천 생태계의 보호를 위한 방류수 수온의 관리를 위해서는 변화된 수온의 영향 범위를 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 방류되는 온배수의 평균 수온과 기존 하천 수온의 온도차를 이용해 물질수지식과 3차원 모형인 EFDC(Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code)를 활용하여 방류수로 인한 하류 하천의 수온 변화를 모의하고자 하였다. 또한 적절한 수온의 관리를 위해 방류수 수온 및 유량의 인자를 변화시켜가면서 하류하천의 수온변화 모의를 실시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 하류 하천에서 서식하는 생물들에 영향을 미치지 않는 방류수의 수온 기준을 제시하는데 중요한 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 몰입형 가상현실 시스템은 더 나은 3차원 시각정보를 제공할 수 있어, 의료계에서 해부학에 대한 이해를 높이는 데 사용되고 있다. 우리는 몰입형 가상현실에서 다중 사용자가 함께 MRI 영상으로부터 생성된 볼륨 렌더링 된 객체를 관찰하고 수술을 계획할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • A possibility of the drag coefficient estimation in numerical water basins was discussed where the numerical solution were calculated by the 3-dimensional hydro-dynamical model (FLOW-$3D^{(R)}$) with the RNG $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model. On the known cases of the drag coefficients for a rectangle, the numerical drag coefficients got $1.34{\sim}1.52$ and the wind tunnel values were $1.3{\sim}1.5$. For a cylinder, the numerical values were calculated as $0.75{\sim}0.78$ in the range of 0.5
