A Study of Multi Hull Form Design for Small Leisure Fishing Vessels (소형 레저어선의 다동체 선형설계 연구)

  • The vessels, already built and is operating in Korea, have the hull form of catamaran, with LOA(Length Over All) 15 m, LBP(Length Between Perpendiculars) 12 m, GT(Gross Tonnage) 9.77ton, Light Load Displacement 15.1ton. Korean Society of Ship Inspection & Technology, Chungnam National University, Inha University, Seoul National University and Advance Marine Tech co. ltd developed by cooperation it for fishing vessels. And it used FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastics) for hull material and main engine of diesel $360ps{\times}2800rpm{\times}2sets$ with a water jet system. Based on these results, this paper describe small leisure fishing vessels with multi-hull, in relation to the project of CTYS(Regional Reserch Center for Transportation System of Yellow Sea Inha University) that aimed to development of trimaran hull form(LOA=17m, LBP=14m(Side Hull=6m), GT=9.77ton, Light Weight=11.2 ton).

  • As a modem urban train is getting complex in terms of high-technology in its systems and components, the failure management should be performed with scientific and systematic technique. FMEA is a technique to analyze the failure trends of component parts and influences to the higher level system in order to discover the design incompleteness and potential defects, which is for improving reliability. Especially, FMECA (Failure Mode Effects, and Criticality Analysis) is used in case that the criticality that has an immense influence to the system is important. In case of urban train, in its design and manufacturing steps, FMEA is frequently used as an analysis technique to meet the safety objectives and eliminate potential hazards/failures since the concepts of reliability of train is introduced these days. Though, FMEA technique in the maintenances steps lacks in its investigation and applications yet. FMEA is also not applied to the trains operated by Seoul metro in the design and manufacture steps excepts the newest trains. In this paper, through analyzing the failures/maintenance data of the belt-type door systems used in trains operated in Seoul metro Line 1, which is accumulated in RIMS (Rolling-stock Information Maintenance System), FMEA procedures to the belt-type door engines are proposed. Especially, an effort is made, to approach the detailed FMECA procedures to the door magnet valve and switch and door engine devices which vastly influences the customer safety and satisfaction.

Effect of Transient Condition on Propeller Shaft Movement during Starboard Turning under Ballast Draught Condition for the 50,000 DWT Oil Tanker (50,000 DWT 유조선의 밸러스트 흘수에서 우현 전타시 과도상태가 프로펠러축 거동에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • Generally, the propeller shaft that constitutes the ship shaft system has different patterns of behavior due to the ef ects of engine power, propeller load and eccentric thrust, which increases the risk of bearing failure by causing local load variations. To prevent this, different studies of the propulsion shaft system have been conducted focused the relative inclination angle and oil film retention between the shaft and the support bearing, mainly with respect to the Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships. However, in order to secure the stability of the propulsion shaft via a more detailed evaluation, it is necessary to consider dynamic conditions, including the transient state due to sudden change in the stern wakefield. In this context, a 50,000 DWT vessel was analyzed using the strain gauge method, and the effects of propeller shaft movement were analyzed on the starboard rudder turn which is a typical transient state during normal continuous rate(NCR) operation in ballast draught condition. Analysis results confirm that the changed propeller eccentric thrust acts as a force that temporarily pushes down the shaft to increase the local load of the stern tube bearing and negatively affects the stability of the shaft system.

  • Recently, as the fine dust is increased and the emission regulations of diesel engines have been tightened, interest in diesel soot filtration devices has rapidly increased. There is specifically a demand for the technological development of higher diesel exhaust gas after-treatment device efficiency. As part of this, many studies were conducted to increase exhaust gas treatment efficiency by improving the flow uniformity of the exhaust gas in the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and reducing the pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet of DPF. In this study, the effects of pressure drop by the flow rate and temperature of exhaust gas, DPF I/O ratio, Ash, and PM amount in diesel reduction device were simulated via a 12" diameter DPF and diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) using ANSYS Fluent. As the flow rate and temperature decreased, the pressure drop decreased, whereas the PM amount affected the pressure drop more than the ash amount and the pressure drop was lower in anisotropic DPF than isotropic DPF. In the case of DPF flow uniformity, it was constant regardless of the various variables of DPF. In ESC and ETC conditions, the filtration efficiency for PM was similar regardless of anisotropic and isotropic DPF, but the filtration efficiency for PN (particle number) was higher in anisotropic DPF than isotropic DPF.

  • 수력, 화력, 원자력 다음으로 제 4의 전원으로서 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 연료전지는 연료가 가지고있는 화학에너지를 직접에너지로 변환시키는 점에서 종래의 발전 기술과는 원리적으로 다르며, 카르노(Carnot)사이클에 의한 에너지 변환 효율의 제한을 받지 않기 때문에 효율이 높으며 공해가 없는 특징을 가지고 있다. 연료전지의 발전 방식은 작동 온도, 전해질 등에 의해서 분류되나 현재 실용화단계의 기술은 인산형연료전지 발전이다. 인산형 연료전지의 발전용 연료는 천연가스, 메탄올, 납사 등과 같은 탄화수소 계열의 다양한 연료를 사용할 수 있으며, 이들 연료들을 수소가 많이 함유된 가스로 변환시켜 연료전지에 공급하여야 한다. 연료전지발전시스템 개발은 주로 전력이용 측면에서 천연가스를 개질연료로 사용하는 연구가 주류를 이루었으나, 최근에는 전 세계적으로 대기 공해에 시달리고 있는 도시의 환경개선을 위하여 도심용 버스 및 대형 트럭 등에 응용하기 위한 무공해 수송용 자동차엔진의 개발, 국방용 이동전원 개발 및 100㎾ 미만의 현지설치용 및 낙도용 전원으로서 메탄올을 연료로 한 연료전지의 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 한국에너지기술연구소는 한국전력 기술연구원과 공동으로 1989년부터 1992년까지 본체를 제외한 5.9㎾급 인산형 연료전지 발전시스템 즉, 메탄올 연료 개질장치, 운전자동화 시스템, 배열이용 시스템, 종합 배관 등을 설계 구성하여 발전 플랜트의 운전 특성 연구를 수행하였으며, 본 고에서는 이들 설비들의 운전 특성과 발전 플랜트로서의 효율 특성에 대한 고찰을 수행하였다. 본 시스템은 연료개질기가 연결되고 배열을 이용하는 국내최초의 종합적인 연료전지 발전 시스템으로서 개질된 연료로 운전하였을 경우 본체의 효율은 31.9%, 배열을 회수한 종합발전 플랜트의 효율은 45.2%였다.로서, 흰쥐 유선이 LH의 생성처이면서 동시에 작용처이며 유선에서 합성된 GnRH의 조절하에 국부적인 인자로 작용할 가능성을 시사한다.f variation)가 10% 내외로 만족할 만한 범위에 들었다. 본 실험 방법을 타액과 혈청내 testosterone 농도 측정에 응용하여 RIA의 결과와 비교하여 본 바 상관관계가 타액에서 r=0.969, 혈청에서 r=0.990으로 두 결과가 잘 일치하였다. 본 실험에서 측정된 한국인 여성의 타액내 testosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea.   • The core of the CNG fueling station is the compressor and most of CNG compressors in Korea require lubrication. Lubrication oil of CNG compressor that can be transferred into the pressure regulators and the engines of fueling system can cause a negative effect on NGV(Nature Gas Vehicle) performance during refueling due to oil Carry-over. In order to avoid the problem, it is necessary to enhance the quality of the compressed natural gas by measuring quantitatively the amount of the transferred oil. In this research, a sampling device and sampling tube were developed, which can be used with a gravimetric method of detection to measure CNG oil Carry-over. In addition, CNG samples were taken at 6 pre-selected CNG fueling stations and analysed for their trace oil Carry-over. The measured total oil Carry-over ranged from 2.569 to 6.509 ppm. This test measurements were compared with those of previous studies to verify the results.

Development of Voice Information System for Safe Navigation in Marine Simulator (시뮬레이터 기반 음성을 이용한 항행정보 안내시스템의 개발)

  • As the technology of Speech Recognition(SR) and Text-To-Speech(TTS) develops rapidly, voice control and guidance system is thought to be very helpful for safe navigation. But Voice Control and Guidance System(VCGS) is not yet so popularly included in Navigation Supporting System(NSS). The main reason of this is that VCGS is so complicated and user-unfriendly that navigation officers hesitate to use VCGS. Frequent errors in operating VCGS due to low rate of SR are another reason. To make VCGS more practicable for safe navigation, we design the user-friendly VCGS. Firstly, by using interviews we survey functions and procedures that navigation officers want to be included in VCGS. Secondly, to raise the rate of SR, we tun the environmental noise in bridge and to reduce the errors due to low rate of SR in operating VCGS, we design the functions of self-correction. Also we apply a user-independent SR engine so that procedures of teaming of speakers is basically not necessary. Using simulator experiments the functions and procedures of the user-friendly YCGS for safe navigation are evaluated and the results of evaluation are fed back to the design. As a result, we can design the VCGS more helpful for safe navigation. In this paper, we describe the features of the user-friendly VCGS for safe navigation and discuss the results of simulator experiments.

  • 드라이브 샤프트는 일반적으로 엔진에서 발생된 회전력을 바퀴에 직접 전달하는 동시에 조향기능을 수행하는 자동차 부품이다. 최근에 경량화를 통한 에너지 절감을 위하여 기존 스틸소재를 알루미늄으로 대체하는 방안에 대한 연구가 집중되고 있다. 그러나 알루미늄 단일소재로 드라이브 샤프트를 제조하는 것은 비경제적이며 또한 기 개발된 자동차 부품들과의 연결을 고려하여 알루미늄 튜브와 스틸 요크의 이종금속 접합기술이 요구된다. 전자기 펄스용접은 전자기력을 이용하여 용접대상물을 고속으로 충돌시켜 용접하는 기술로서 열 발생이 적어 재료의 특성차로 인한 결함 및 변형이 발생하지 않아, 이종금속간 고품질 용접이 가능하며, 전자기 펄스 용접부의 품질과 밀접한 관계를 갖는 공정변수 경우 모재와 접합재의 재질 따라 적정 공정변수 범위가 변화되므로 공정에 따른 데이터의 축적은 대단히 중요하다. 전자기 펄스 용접을 이용한 이종금속 접합시 접합부 품질에 영향을 미치는 공정변수는 충전전압, 모재와 접합재 사이의 간격 및 접합재의 직경과 두께의 비(D/T비)로서 보고되었으며, Al/Steel 이종 금속 접합시 이들 공정변수가 접합부에 미치는 영향 및 최적의 공정변수 도출을 위한 연구는 시도되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구는 전자기 펄스 용접기술을 이용한 Al/Steel 이종금속 접합 실험을 통하여 전자기 펄스용접의 적정성과 최적의 충전전압, 모재와 접합재 사이의 간격, D/T비를 도출하고자 한다. 전자기 펄스 용접 장치는 한국생산기술연구원과 웰메이트(주)에서 공동으로 개발한 $120{\mu}F$의 캐패시터 6개로 구성된 'W-MPW36'을 사용하였으며 이 장치의 최대충전전압과 최대접합용량은 각각 10kV, 36kJ이다. 접합재는 전기 전도율의 높은 Al 1070 파이프를 사용하였으며 모재는 기존 스틸 요크재인 SM45C 환봉을 사용하였다. 기보고된 연구를 통하여 코일과 접합재 사이의 간격이 좁을수록 높은 전자기력이 접합재에 작용하는 것을 확인하였으나 코일내 접합재와 모재 삽입 편의를 위하여 1mm로 설정하였다. 접합부의 품질 평가를 위하여 수압시험을 실시하였으며, 시험 후 접합부 단면을 주사전자현미경(SEM)을 이용하여 관찰하였다.

Basic Study of Spray-Behavior Characteristics of Emulsified Fuel (에멀젼연료의 분무거동특성에 관한 기초연구)

  • As a preliminary study on the spray behavior characteristics of emulsified fuel, the fuel properties (viscosity, surface tension, and density) and evaporation characteristics of a fuel droplet were investigated. The emulsified fuel was made by mixing diesel and $H_2O_2$. In addition, the macroscopic spray behavior characteristics such as the spray penetrations and spray angles of the emulsified and diesel fuels were compared. The stirring condition of the emulsified fuel was a 9:1 mixture of the diesel fuel and the surfactant span 80. The mixing ratios for the hydrogen peroxide were set at EF2, EF12, EF22, EF32, EF42, EF52, EF62, EF72, EF82, and EF92. The injection pressures were set at 400, 600, 800, and 1000 bar. We found that as the mixing ratio of the hydrogen peroxide was increased from EF2 to EF52, the viscosity of the emulsified fuel increased. However, afterward, the viscosity of the emulsified fuel gradually decreased and approached the viscosity value of the diesel fuel. Therefore, generally oil-in-water emulsions were used for the hydrogen peroxide mixing ratios up to 52 (EF52), and water-in-oil emulsions were used for the hydrogen peroxide mixing ratios above 52. Finally, the spray behavior characteristics (spray penetration and spray angle) of the emulsified fuel were found to be almost independent of the mixing ratio.

Systematic Analysis of Microbial Contamination in Leaf and Stem Products in Korea (Systematic analysis 방법을 이용한 국내 엽경채류 농산물의 미생물학적 오염도 분석)

  • This study systemically analyzed the data on the microbial levels in fresh vegetables in Korea to identify the points to control. We scanned the studies published between 2001 and 2015 in peer-reviewed research papers on the microbial levels in fresh vegetables produced in Korea. Plant products were categorized by using the US IFSAC (Interagency Food Safety Analytics Collaboration) category. The most consumed, the non-heat treated, the epidemiological foodborne diseases sources of fresh vegetable in foodservice (KCDC data) were identified by literature review. Articles were screened using National Digital Science Library (NDSL) search engine regarding to microbial hazards in plant products. Based on the total plate count number and coliforms on the 89 data cases from 26 published articles, the total plate count number was high in the order of sprouts, leaf and stem, bulbs and roots, vine-grown, solanaceous, melons, and pome. Escherichia coli was frequently detected in leaf and stem and sprouts products. Focused on the microbial data of leek, lettuce and cabbage, the levels of total plate count, coliforms and Bacillus cereus showed the levels of 4.15~7.69 log CFU/g, 1~6.99 log CFU/g, and 0.51~3.9 log CFU/g, respectively, by 33 published papers. The levels of environmental factors affecting the microbial safety of lettuce and leek before harvest were investigated. Manure, soil, hands, scale, gloves were the major potential microbial contamination points to control. In addition, GAP (good agricultural practice), microbial testing, and improvement of irrigation methods are required to provide the safer fresh produce.
